BEWARE. Lemon Lot. I called looking for the owner or a sales manager to attempt to fix these issues face to face, but I keep getting ignored: JJ's sells used high-mileage lemons at full price or above KBB or NADA values to dummies that do not look past the shiny detail job they quickly did before you look at it. I went in to buy a 2004 Toyota 4Runner that I was very excited about. Angel helped me out and took us for a test drive and everything seemed ok at first. I looked under the hood and the engine was detailed to look shiny and clean but it was clear there was a nest in the center of the 4.7l V8 engine that you had to look for more than a glance to see. Worse, I peeked under the car and there is transfer case fluid dripping from the transfer case and 4wd actuator. I crawled under to find out that someone attempted to spray a foam insulation to soak up and stop the leak (not sure how devious JJ's mechanics are, but even if it wasn't them it was impossible to miss). pictures attached to show what it looked like yesterday and what it is supposed to look like. They are trying to hide a 2300$ part problem that requires Toyota techs with an 8$ can of spray. I almost fell for it, and I'm sure a dummy that doesn't know to look under a car might miss it. Unfortunately, the salesman did not try to work a deal out. He just asked what I want to do. I posited that they knock 2500$ off the price to account for the broken part, and he just said 'no' without a negotiation. THEY THEN TRIED TO SELL IT TO ME WITH A WARRANTY AND TELL ME TO USE THE WARRANTY ON A PRE-EXISTING PROBLEM! I'm not sure what the AUL warranty service will think when I let them know about JJ's business practices. I should have looked on Yelp and not just Google for a true review. Owner or 'Finance Manager', respond back with a time and I'll give you a call if you want to try to fix yourselves and make this right. If not, no worries. Come here if you want to get ripped off, I was recently in the market for an additional used car and I thought I give the local guys a chance. WOW, I was shocked by their tactics, as I sat there waiting I saw a salesman receive a call and not sure what the call was about but I can only imagine. What I heard was "let me ask my boss", the salesman proceeded to put the phone down stay seated on his chair after about a minute he came back to the customer and proceeded to say 'no, I'm sorry my boss said we couldn't". Not only did he flat out lie to the customer, he didn't mind me witnessing the whole thing. I still proceeded to try to work out a deal I was gonna trade a car which happened to have the check engine light on, I had already been quoted a price and then when they were inspecting my car I told them about the check engine light and he said their mechanic would inspect it. They did and stated it was no big deal. The salesman goes to a back room and talks to a guy who I assume is the owner of the dealership, after a lengthy wait all of a sudden the price of the car I'm trying to purchase goes up by 1K. I think not, we left and never returned their calls. I was still gonna ask them to come down at least 2K. The sad thing is that they will rip off some body who is dumb enough to let them. read more

However, there is a silver lining to this horrendous experience with JJ's Auto Sales, I learned a valuable lessons "sometimes cheap means more expensive in the long run" save your time and money and go to the Auto mall and buy a vehicle that has a long term guarantee. Bought a car sight unseen from these guys. I called, asked them to check something specific on the car (look for sport package) and had them email me the carfax. I then made them an offer at trade-in value vs. their asking price. We agreed to meet at slightly less than the middle after about 2 minutes of salesmen asking his boss/owner. They further agreed to take the car to an independent mechanic of my choosing all before collecting a single dime from me. This place is a joke. Please beware!! I purchased a vehicle through them about a year ago and they claimed the vehicle was in outstanding condition. Not long after, the airbag light would go on and off, an issue I could deal with but who knows if it has air bag issues? Later, I installed new tires and the tire technician rotated the back tires to the front. During this, they discovered the back rims were bent causing a bad ride (shaking) on the freeway. This costed me new rims! JJs auto sales mechanics knew of this way before putting the car on the show floor. JJs sales reps will reply bogus "courtesy" replies back on yelp to make up for their scams and look good for the business. Majority of their vehicles have a carfax collision report!! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!My husband bought a 2006 Nissan truck from this dealer and it ran great for for about a month... then the truck stopped shifting ... We took the truck in to run a diagnostic and it came back with a transmission error. Once the truck was physically looked at, the mechanic noticed that there was transmission fluid leaking due to makeshift pieces welded together on the underside of the truck. We brought it to the dealers attention and they offered to work on the truck but, at this point we don't trust them and don't want to put any more of our money in their pockets. The transmission has been rebuilt and we are still working the kinks out!!!! $14,000 for a truck that DOES NOT WORK! If the owner had and pride or ethics he would take back his garbage and exchange the truck for one that actually runs. read more

This is typically a pretty good shop to take your car to. I didn't have a good experience at all this time. Took my cat in to get an estimate for some suspension work (that part was fine). I was also having them look at the transmission. They had the car so I wanted the trans finished a and filled. Talked to the guys in the front and they said it would be done that day or the next morning. So I leave the car over night to get things taken care of. Go to pick up the car this morning and the trans was not touched. No apology or anything. Left kinda pissed. read more

A complete scam do not let them do what they did to me.. they lied in my application so I can be financed for a piece of shit BMW that had bald tires 2 weeks and 2 tires pop on me on my way to work car had multiple problems and the worst part is they set me up with a scam financing office I was in military basic training and when I come back my car is repossessed and they want to me to finish paying it off it is still on my credit report and I just recently was informed it was still affecting my score so I contacted a lawyer and we are going after pieces of shit scammers like this !!! Liar and theif. I pulled into town with a problem CR-V. JJ's very nicely got me in on a Friday morning and supposedly took care of the problem over the weekend. However, when I picked up the car and headed to Seattle on Sunday, the same warning light came on just 40 minutes into the trip. I limped back to Seattle and got the car into a shop there. The Seattle shop told me that the part that JJ's used was an aftermarket(not Honda) part and that this particular aftermarket part had a very high failure rate. The Seattle (yes high priced Seattle) shop switched out the fake part and changed the oil for less than JJ's charged! I called and asked JJ's just for reimbursement for just parts. I didn't even ask for reimbursement for their labor. JJ's agreed to pay me back for the parts. I even paid to have the fake part sent back to JJ's. A few weeks later, no word from JJ's. I called and JJ's claimed that it was a clerical mistake. Supposedly, the woman who writes the checks was out of the office. Sounded sketchy, but I believed him. But they still promised to send the check. Since then, radio silence.......JJ's has not returned my calls. I guess they figured they could rip off an out of towner and get away with it. It's a shame, because they seemed very nice in the shop. I find their behavior highly dishonest. I was lied to and I am out $410 plus parts shipping. I am a single woman who went to buy a car on my own. I have heard the horror stories of how women tend to get taken advantage of. Let me tell you, this was THE BEST car buying experience that I have ever had. One thing they did that stood out was that I wrote a post dated check. It was for over the amount they were asking for. Instead of just adding it on to the deposit, they brought it back to me to void and write one for the lesser amount. Then, I came to an obstacle in my down payment. They totally worked with me. They also helped me make the best choice in dependability for my car, they did not try to sell me the one that cost the most. I recently bought a vehicle that was smoged using none California compliant catalytic converters. It is illegal to sell a vehicle in California without California compliant catalytic converters. When I contacted the owner he called me a liar and then later offered to pay for the cost of one side.since I had to repair one side of the exhaust because the catalytic converter with bad. I went to jj's auto sales after veiwing there website thinking these gies could help me...Im a first time buyer with no credit and to small collections i was unaware of and still got denied. They didnt even try to see if any banks would work with me. They just straight said i was denied after being there for not even 20 minutes. I bought a care from this place 3 months ago. It had problems from the beginning. The check engine light came on 3 days after I bought it and they took it to a mechanic and said they did some transmission work on it. The shop said the work was $1600 and JJ's as me to pay $500 for it. Now less than three months after the repair the transmission is totally fried and I have to spend $3000 to get it fixed. I have my doubts that the place they took it even did any work and JJ's just got an additional $500 from me. read more

2 years ago I bought a vw beetle there. While I was in the processes of buying my car the guy helping us was being so unprofessional telling me "I have a nice body" Iok? Learn how to be professional! Anyways after I bought the car not even a day passed and the car had a "check engine" sign I took it back for them to fix it they took my car for about a week and said they took it to a mechanic and it was good to go. So I got my car back then the stupid "check engine" came back within the second day I took it back and they said they already took it to the mechanic BUT didn't want to show me the records showing they took nor did they let me go with them to see what the mechanic would say about the car. They are liars because they probably never took the car. I talked to the owner telling him he sales guy was being very inappropriate and unprofessional plus the car they sold me was not in good condition he didn't do anything about it, he was just coming up with excuses!
