I was greeted by a awesome sales man but don't remember his name at the moment. He let me test drive a impala 2008 , which I did not like so he offered a little something different and we took a 2010 Honda accord and I was sold by this one. It was the best car I have driven the past months . One problem it had 112,000 miles and we want something under 50,000 so he showed us a 2009 with close miles to what we wanted . It was getting late and my son was with the babysitter so we had to leave. I left really happy with the service . I did not get pressured by the sales man like other lots around town where they want you to just drive off or go in the office to soon. I will be looking for a Honda accord 2008 & up with under 50,000 miles and be purchasing it . I hope the car lot can get one soon , I will definitely be returning if I find a matching car to my needs . Sorry I can't release his name wish I got a business card but was so busy test driving all there awesome cars. I forgot to add . The man that helped me out also offered me a quick approximate of what I would pay with a car worth (xx) amount and he said a guy has gotten one and took it 5 years around 270 a month. Which of course is just a estimate . But most other places I go that I ask always want me to go in there office , which I do not like at all .

Very disappointed with my experience at Gold Star GMC in Salinas…read more I was upfront with Patrick about my challenged credit and the vehicle I wanted. He told me he could work with me and gave me confidence that he could get me approved. I was also concerned about my credit being run everywhere. Shortly after submitting the application, I received alerts showing approximately nine credit inquiries from different lenders. After all those inquiries, I received no proactive follow-up call or text. I had to contact Patrick myself to find out what was happening. When he finally responded, I was told they could approve me for something around $25,000 and was asked, "Do you like Jeep Wranglers?", not the vehicle/options we had originally discussed. I understand that dealerships sometimes need to shop financing around, especially with challenged credit. My issue is the expectations that were set beforehand, the number of credit submissions, the lack of communication afterward, and then being redirected to completely different vehicles. Based on my experience, I would not shop here again. If you finance through this dealership, ask how many lenders they plan to send your application to before authorizing anything.

Here's a polished but still firm 1 star review:…read more I was really disappointed with my experience at Toyota Salinas. I booked an appointment online for 12:30 PM and drove about 20 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I checked in at the front and was told to wait in my car because someone would come out to help me. I waited about 18 minutes with no one approaching me, so I had to flag someone down myself. After that, I was told there were 13 cars ahead of me and it would likely take around 4 hours before they could even get to my car. At that point, I was confused and frustrated because I had booked an appointment. They explained that the appointment time was really just a drop-off time, which was not clear when booking online. The whole process felt disorganized, slow, and inattentive. The customer service was poor, and I felt like my time was completely wasted. If appointments are not actual service times, that should be made very clear upfront so customers can plan accordingly. I would not recommend coming here if you expect timely or attentive service.

As far as service in general - It's been 5 stars! In dealing with this Salinas service department…read moreon two separate occasions, I am writing this review because I feel they are service-driven and focused on their customers' needs. Of course, they care about the bottom line, but I feel like they are more focused on assessing and helping their customers have a great overall experience. Here is an overview of the experiences I have had at this location in Salinas: OIL CHANGE: I took our Pacifica in for an oil change and was treated professionally by both my service advisor and at checkout. I was told there would be a 90-minute wait for my oil change the week prior, and it was approximately 90 minutes. I also received my vehicle back in the same condition. (That has not always been the case with other centers! We once received our vehicle back with a used face mask and a sock when our vehicle was returned!) The advisor also answered a question I had that was car-related, but not oil change-related. She had to research what I was asking, but came back promptly and with the information I needed. She was kind and she seemed experienced and knowledgeable! AUTO REPAIR & SERVICE: I called to speak to someone in regard to the issues I was having with our vehicle. It took a couple of tries to get through, and I could tell that they were extremely busy, but the service manager (Don) answered. He asked what issues I was having with our vehicle, but when I went into more details he asked questions (to get more insight on how he could assist,) he looked at my vehicle's past history and took time to talk with me about my concerns to best assist me BEFORE I made an appointment. I called with questions and was spoken to with respect as an individual and concern for my vehicle's needs. Don was professional and I felt he genuinely wanted to help me with my vehicle's issues! On both occasions, I appreciated being treated as a valued customer, as it has not been our experience at other dealerships and service centers! I am a woman, who drives our family's Pacifica 90% of the time, and is responsible for the maintenance and decisions when it comes to service on the vehicle. This will be our family's service department to work with now! Thankful to have found this service department and Chrysler dealership!

I bought it from an…read moreuntrustworthy man on craigslist, and we even almost went to court because he couldn't pass the smog test, but he kept lying and told me that it was my responsibility since I had bought it off him. (Legally, the car was still his, so he HAD to do the smog test. Fortunately, he passed it after thousands of dollars fixing the problem) The car was doing fine for a while, but I realized it was taking a toll on my wallet because it was taking up a lot of gas, and sometimes, I would have to rev it quite a bit for it to go up hills. At first, I thought it was just because it was an old car and it was pretty heavy. So I decided to take it to Fast Cash to see if they could get me approved for a loan (I have no credit whatsoever), and if I could trade in my Volkswagen to cover up for some of the down payment. Sue and Gus, the owners of Fast Cash, were extremely friendly and they definitely wanted to help me out the most that they could. They searched up all and any banks that were willing to give me the loan, and since I had no credit, unfortunately the APR is very high, but they told me that just after 6 months, I could refinance and it would be all good. In the end, I traded in my Passat at $2000 and paid $1000 down for an 06 Honda Civic Coupe. They changed the windshield wipers for me and made sure that the car was in good condition. The only reason why I give them 4 stars is that they did not give us warranty. Unfortunately, I found out 6 months after driving the Honda, my engine block had been cracked. My mechanic told me that the only way to fix this was through replacing the engine, which would cost me $3000 - $4000. When I called Fast Cash and asked them if we had warranty on the car, they said that we probably didn't, and when I looked at the documents, there wasn't any warranty on it. So, in truth, they did sell me a faulty car (I could not have caused it because it takes a LOT for the engine block to crack, but I did not have any accidents, minor or major, not even a bump). They did say that the car had a clean title, but my s/o's father, who is a car detailer, saw that they had repainted one side of the car, so I had my doubts, but decided to trust Fast Cash anyway. Turns out that 06-09 Honda's have had engine block problems, and so Honda issued a technical service bulletin (10-048) that extended their warranty for engine block repair to all 06-09 Honda owners for 10 years from purchase date. Luckily, my Honda qualified for the warranty, and so now it is at the Honda Service Center getting an engine block replacement, free of charge. I wish Fast Cash had had that information prior to selling me the car so that I would not have had the breakdown after receiving news of the engine block crack. Instead, I had to research for quite a bit to find this miracle. Otherwise, I would have given them the 5 stars because everything else they did for me was superb.
