I am currently on the hunt for a new car , me and my wife decided to stop by on there labor day sale at the Northridge mall parking lot. I was greeted by a awesome sales man but don't remember his name at the moment. He let me test drive a impala 2008 , which I did not like so he offered a little something different and we took a 2010 Honda accord and I was sold by this one. It was the best car I have driven the past months . One problem it had 112,000 miles and we want something under 50,000 so he showed us a 2009 with close miles to what we wanted . It was getting late and my son was with the babysitter so we had to leave. I left really happy with the service . I did not get pressured by the sales man like other lots around town where they want you to just drive off or go in the office to soon. I will be looking for a Honda accord 2008 & up with under 50,000 miles and be purchasing it . I hope the car lot can get one soon , I will definitely be returning if I find a matching car to my needs . The man that helped me out also offered me a quick approximate of what I would pay with a car worth (xx) amount and he said a guy has gotten one and took it 5 years around 270 a month. 5 yrs ago I bought a car from this dealership which was in Hollister CA at that time. I decided to go car shopping today thinking I was going to use my car as a trade in. Well to my surprise the dealership pulled the car fax and to my surprise I found out that my car had frame damage which was never told to me when I purchased the car. Which I found out today was illegal. I am pissed beyond words. I've put my grandchildren in this car and to find out it's unsafe? I have a good mind to hire a lawyer and get my money back. I bought a 2003 GMC Sierra in Febuary for $10,000. By July I had spent$7,000 fixing it so I took it in as a trade in. They gave me $7,000 credit. That's a$10,000 loss. I bought a2003 Chevrolet Duramax and took it strait to Chevrolet to get it inspected and the heads were cracked and the engine needed to be replaced. All together they said it would cost between $10,000-$20,000 to fix it. I test drove 2 other trucks and one had$5,000 worth of damage and the other one has the check engine light on. They don't even service their vehicles. If you buy from them get your car inspected at the maker dealership and car fax before you pay. read more

ronnie bitar is a very proffessional salesman, good cadence friendly no nonsense.I was looking for trucks they did not have, no bait and switch tactics just said he'd call me when they got one.I was car salesman in 1970s and 1980s so i know all the techniques, roofing the keys, so they can't leave as keys are needed to appraise the trade, or turning people to other salesman to wear down resistance to buy etc etc.However reading the reviews scare me as I.almost did a trade now doubts. Do not trust The Car Lot at 301 N Main Street. I bought a GMC Acadia through USAA Car Buying Service. The transaction for purchase went very smooth however, after the purchase, it all went to hell. I called Ronnie, who sold the car to me and told him about a strange noise in the steering column. Since I live 3.5 hours away from the Dealership, Ronnie was very pleasant and advised that I take the car to the GMC dealership in my area. I did, and was quoted $4700.00 in repairs that we needed. I paid 139.00 for the diagnostic but called Ronnie and offered that I would take the car to my mechanic that I have used for years. He agreed. My mechanic gave quote to replace the leaking water pump and front struts but stated the dealership would have to fix the steering problem. My mechanic's gave estimate for 1,034.86. I call and left a message for Ronnie and never heard from him again. I did not feel safe to drive the car and paid for the repairs. Over the next week, I called and spoke to Juan 3 times and Rob twice and each time they said they would have Ronnie call back. Ronnie did not call back. I called USAA who put me through to True Car to register my complaint. They contacted "The Car Lot" and advised me that Ronnie told them he would reach out to me to work something out. You guessed it, I have not heard from anyone at The Car Lot and it has been 3 weeks! Also, since that time, weather stripping on the passenger door is falling away, the passenger door no longer latches and whatever glue they use to try and fix the side door protection strip and swelled up and now the strip sticks out about 1/4 inch from the door. Too many issues with the car I got! 3rd day check engine light, 1st week AC, alignment, brakes, and tired pressure light. No second key was given I had to buy it! I should have check maintenance as a consumer but they didn't have it available because they were selling from mall parking lot. They did fix the issues but had my car for weeks. After the one month warranty the window motor stopped working so I couldn't roll it up or down. Convenient how that happens they hold the car and then I find something wrong when I finally get it back and it's past the time to get it fixed by them. I got the extended warranty but it's a $100 deductible which is exactly the cost of the part. Oh and when I bought the warranty they didn't have the brochure to give to me that tells me what all that is covered. read more

Bought a car here. There was a problem with it that they had to know about that became apparent after having it a few days (suspension related). Also the car has been stripped of it's original items: user manual, lugnut spanner (key), and extra key. How do we change a tire or easily lookup basic car operation items with no lugnut key and no manual. Not to mention no spare key. And then there is the poor handling and not as easy to fix as you might think problem with the suspension. read more

I would advise everybody to stay away from this dealership. I purchased a car from this place back in August and they have not been able to transfer the title of the car over to the bank. This is due to their being a recall on the car and for unpaid leans that the car has. I have taken care of the recall and have asked the dealership several times to submit the paperwork to the DMV, which they claim they have but it has already been several months and DMV has received nothing. As a result, my temporary registration has expired and I am unable to use the car for Uber or for personal use. I have filed a complaint to the DMV, who will be investigating them soon, and am in the process of finding an attorney to help take care of the situation. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with what I am going through right now so I highly advise everyone to stay away from this business. read more

We thought we got a good deal on our trade in.. Then a few things happened which shows an apparent huge communication fail in many aspects with this business. They forgot to smog the car they sold us, so we had to take it back to get that done. The tire pressure light has been going on & off ever since we got it & wasn't fixed when they said it was during smog. A few weeks later we realize the car has been leaking oil continuously, so I try calling but noone would answer the phone ever. When I do finally reach them to mention oil leak they asked why I didn't call earlier since it's now (barely) passed the 1 month period of them being able to fix anything wrong.. I convinced them to still work on it so they have the car and say it'll be ready Monday; just waiting on parts. One full week later, after we got a voicemail (from the owner) last night that it's (finally) ready, we go to pick it up and it's not ready.. In the meantime, they gave us a loaner car to use while ours is in the shop; this car's check engine light is on and it sputters so bad I can hardly stand to sit in it (wouldn't dare try taking a sip of water while driving; it would be all over). Ugh. I'll never go back to them. Don't waste your time. read more
