probably the best sushi I've ever had!! the crabcakes were amazing as well, and I was very surprised that there were two! our server was amazing. She was so kind and knowledgeable and she went over the whole menu with us - as it was our first time dining here. we'll definitely be back :)

Second time at Embers. This round we did it more casually and came during happy hour and sat at a bar high top. I actually liked it better this way. We had decent bottle of wine, sushi appetizer and some wings. My wife enjoyed her hamburger. If you're not looking for a formal sit down but want to go to Embers, try the bar area.

Sushi with the boss tonight. They recommend this place for great sushi. We ordered five of their specialty rolls. And I also got a seaweed salad. The atmosphere and service were good. It was restaurant week so we were expecting it to be super busy, but it wasn't bad. As for the sushi, it was ok. I personally wasn't impressed. They try to do too much with trying to make the rolls creative, which meant the sushi rolls would crumble and fall apart. The sea bass roll was my favorite. If you want my honest option, I wouldn't come back here for their sushi. I bet they have better things on the menu.

My friend brought me here for my birthday and we loved it. As others have said, it's surprising to find such fine dining in what is basically a strip mall. Max was our waiter, and he was wonderful...I loved his British accent. Since it was restaurant week we opted for the special menu. My friend had a Caesar salad, chicken and Creme Brulee. I had lobster bisque, salmon, and creme brulee. The bisque didn't have any lobster in it (which was disappointing) but had tons of flavor. My salmon was perfect in every way. Creme brulee was served cold (a surprise) but had a really good flavor. Wine list was great, as was the house Pinot Grigio. Restaurant week was price was very reasonable for what we had. Now I want to go back and try their happy hour!

We came here for Valentine's Day dinner, and felt like it was pretty good. We started with the Kobe roll, which was a decent sushi roll if not small. Our table was the only one to never get bread of all the tables around us, but whatever. We were at a table in the corner of the room, which was crowded and loud. For a date, we were somewhat far apart in our seating. The food was pretty good, but nothing crazy. I'm glad we tried it, but I'm not sure I'd return.

we had a reservation for saturday night and had to wait about 5 minutes. we were then sat and had awesome service all night! we got started with some complimentary bread and butter that was delicious! for my main i had the embers filet oscar with brussel sprouts instead of asparagus. i was very happy with the cook of my steak (medium rare) and very disappointed in the amount of crab i received. for 14 extra dollars, it was not even a claw of crab meat... the brussel sprouts were really good and i would highly recommend! i also got a side of mashed potatoes that were tasty but over priced. for dessert i ended with the oreo stuffed donuts. these are such a nostalgic treat to me and i personally loved them!! overall, our meal was about $80/person for 2 which i feel is a little bit high for the quality of food we received. however, the awesome service, ambiance, and waitress bumped up our overall ranking! rankings: bread 9/10 filet 9/10 crab 7/10 brussel sprouts 10/10 mashed potatoes 9/10 roasted amish chicken breast (husbands ranking) 7/10 oreo stuffed donuts 9/10 classic creme brulee 6/10

The go to spot for special occasions in our family. There's something for everyone on the menu, even kids if you pick off the side dishes (Mac n cheese, risotto). First, the ambiance is relaxing. You can dress up and feel like you fit right in or go business casual and blend right in. The staff is warm and friendly. It's fun to have conversations with your server. The specials are nice twists on their menu items and if you can't decide on a staple menu item, the specials give you a fun option. I love that they have sushi. The Kobe steak roll is heavenly. They also serve sashimi if you're wanting just the fish and no bells and whistles. All fresh and portioned well. There are the steaks which are cooked perfectly. Normally I wouldn't recommend the additional sauces to add on top of your steak but they do a great job making it decadent while still letting your steak shine. You'll need to order some sides if you're getting a steak since it doesn't come with much except a few spears of asparagus. Prices are what you'd expect for a nice sit down meal. They have a bar area if you want to go casual or just enjoy a meal solo without all the formalities of sit down dining. Save room for dessert. The donuts are made fresh and it gets me every time.

Tony's special was enjoyed by another diner. Not one negative was mentioned at the table. The ambiance or lack there of was not a real concern, the pictures and posters were interesting enough. If they could put the lights on dimmers it would certainly help. Food and service were excellent and the atmosphere, strip mall Italian modern hahaha. I definitely recommend and we will return... We wanted to come here because it's very close to our friend who joined us. We have been to Giovanni's many times and always enjoy it. They have stopped lunch service, which is a bummer because Giovanni's is much closer to us than Tony's. Oh... I don't know the family tree, but Giovanni's and Tony's are definitely related. Their menus are identical... well, almost. My favorite meal at Giovanni's is Giovanni's Special. At Tony's the same dish is known as Tony's Special. Anyway... I found the garlic knots more delicious at Tony's. The bread was tender and they had enough garlic butter on them it was easy to see. This same side at Giovanni's was always a 'throwaway', but at Tony's it was a star. I had to order the special, but I forgot to ask for penne rather than spaghetti. I wish the server has asked. When the meal arrived at the table I was a little disappointed, but even with spaghetti it was delicious. I don't know how they turn a tomato/eggplant mixture into an amazing sauce, but they do. Mark had the same thing and our friend had Fettuccine Carbonara and really enjoyed it. As always, there was enough for both lunch and take-home dinner. I hope Tony's stays around and that they continue with lunch hours. Even though it's a long drive, we always prefer going out for lunch over dinner and we'd be willing to make the drive.

1. Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chop This plate came out looking…read moreserious. The pork chops had that golden, crunchy sear that lets you know the chef didn't cheat the pan. The crust is seasoned well, giving each bite a savory crunch before you hit the juicy center. The sauce on the bottom adds flavor but also runs a little thin, so it doesn't cling as much as you'd expect. The mashed potatoes are smooth, and those crispy fried onions on top add the right texture. Solid, comforting, and flavorful -- just needed a thicker reduction to tighten the plate. 2. Gnocchi with Braised Short Rib Sauce This dish is exactly what comfort food wants to be when it grows up. The gnocchi is soft, pillowy, and coated in a rich, slow-simmered sauce that tastes like somebody took their time building layers. You get a blend of tomato, parmesan, herbs, and that short rib flavor that carries the whole bowl. It's heavy -- in a good way -- and every bite feels like fall weather in a bowl. Definitely one of the stronger dishes. 3. Parmesan-Crusted Chicken with Green Beans & Tomato Relish The chicken is fried to that perfect "crisp but not greasy" level. The parmesan crust gives it a nutty, salty pop, while the tomato pieces add freshness to cut through the richness. The shredded parmesan on top melts just enough to tie everything together. The green beans are cooked right -- not soggy, still with a snap. The side dish (mac & cheese, most likely) is creamy with a buttery breadcrumb top that adds the right crunch. Overall, a well-balanced plate. 4. Spaghetti & Meatballs This is classic Italian comfort done the Cooper's Hawk way. The sauce is thick, tangy, and bright with tomato flavor. The meatballs are tender and seasoned well, and the touch of ricotta on top softens the acidity and makes the sauce creamy as you mix it in. The pasta is cooked right -- not mushy, not stiff, easy to twirl. Simple, hearty, and dependable. Overall Impression Cooper's Hawk came through with a table full of comfort and richness. Everything was plated well, seasoned properly, and cooked with intention. The standout dishes are the gnocchi and the parmesan-crusted chicken, but nothing on the table missed the mark.

We tried the Grilled Mahi sandwich ($17.99) and the Soup & Sandwich combo ($19.99). A glass of wine was $11 and a soft drink was $4.99. $70 with tax and tip. The term "upscale" seems to have become a euphemism for "more expensive than you thought it was going to be". I rated it 3 stars for several reasons. First, the food tasted very salty, almost to the point of us sending it back but we didn't because we had been waiting almost 30 minutes and were hungry. The slow service was reason two. Reason three was the price point. Five bucks for a coke? Twenty bucks for a soup and sandwich? The food was OK but the value just wasn't there. And reason four was the noise level. It was so loud I couldn't take an incoming cell phone call. Having said all that, they didn't seem to be hurting for business on a Friday afternoon so all I can say is it seems there are a lot of people out there who really like the place. If you're one of them, I think you'll find this Coopers Hawk a great place for lunch or dinner.

A lot of thought went into making this dish perfect thank you chef My lady ordered the filet and I had the 14oz Choice Strip Steak. Both incredibly tender and served with a variety of sauces. (I will be booking this option from now on.) I ordered the surf and turf seasonal option with lobster and filet mignon cooked medium. I was surprised when a sea scallop I didn't order and a small glass of wine spritzer popped up but this is part of the chefs table experience - it was a sea scallop grilled with a chimichurri sauce and some crispy prosciutto. I would have never ordered this on my own so it was nice to try. I am a not a huge seafood person - the minute I cut into it I smelled the sea which was a turn off and I wasn't a fan of the texture but once I cut into tiny pieces and mixed with the sauce and the proscuitto I was able to actually find myself enjoying the dish plus boy did it look pretty coming out! The chefs table is nice because you get to watch everything be cooked - the mac and cheese looks amazing every single time - omg I must try it sometime. My waitress was phenomenal with purple and blue hair and the glittery eye shadow. She was so attentive and helpful. The steak was so juicy and cooked perfectly - I think next time I would get a larger steak or the grilled shrimp option as I wasn't the biggest fan of the lobster tail but still finished it. The salad was okay - I wish it had ranch instead. I also got the orange cream cloud for dessert to go which was shockingly light, airy and delicious - the citrus flavors with the passion fruit are so refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try something new . The place is beautifully decorated and they offer free parking options - the music is very low so you can have a conversation and even the chefs table wasn't too loud even though it was right next to the kitchen.
