Maggie (I think that was her name. It's been a while) was wonderful! Took amazing care of us! Started with crab cakes that were so flavorful & on this really delicious corn succotash. Then the sushi was unexpected delicious. Ours had steak and we ate the whole thing. We also got some brussel sprouts & fries (since I wasn't sure how my kid would react to the Brussels). Get the brussel sprouts! Kiddo ate them over the fries & I was shook. I have to bring my chef partner up with me so he can try to recreate them. They were incredible! Maggie then surprised my daughter with their signature dessert of elevated fried Oreos because of her name. It was so kind & soo so good. I had the filet with the carrots, and I can honestly say they were the best carrots I've ever had! The seasoning on the steak is truly amazing, and both times I've eaten here, the steaks have easily been some of the best I've ever had. Everyone at our table loved their drinks from the bar, and the bartender was incredibly friendly. It was also really cool hearing about where the food is sourced and the thought and care that goes into the ingredients. If you haven't been to Lonely Pine since the new ownership took over, I highly recommend giving it a try. I have heard of no-show fees for a whole missed reservation, but a missing person is offensive. Do I get a discount if my service is slow because a server called in sick? We were able to find a table at a different restaurant that puts an emphasis on the experience, not the profit times seats times turns equation. It's a shame. I liked the food here, but a policy like that puts in on my no-go list.
