I contacted about 11 plumbers for my backed up kitchen drain here at home Elite Rooter came back with the best pricing and availability so we booked an appointment with them. Rafa came by just slightly after the time window but he more than made up for it with a great attitude and customer service. He wore booties to make sure he didnt track mud and dirt into our home. He assessed our situation and tried to use the cable to clear the kitchen drain but it wasn't effective. He recommended the next step up - hydro jetting the line. Although we didn't sign up for the hydro jetting due to cost we were extremely satisfied with the visit and the fact that he didn't charge since there was no fix, very honest business from Rafa. He also did check out our bathroom line for us because we were having issues with that as well. All around the experience was one I would recommend to any of my friends. read more

First off, I want to say that this is a very very trustworthy and skilled plumbing company. I'm a homeowner with a large home that has a lot of plumbing and I had a seriously tough clogs that despite my best efforts I could not handle by myself. I was really excited to see just how kind and professional Jaime was when he arrived. I always ask my wife if she would feel safe in the house with a technician by herself and she resoundingly said "Yes". I could tell that Jaime is a very experienced and hard working Plumber and because of that Elite has another loyal customer bc thisclog was a doozie. I I have no doubt that this is a field where aspiring for five star reviews is very difficult whether it's because people don't have a very good idea just how much work can go into it or because their expectations are not realistic or whatever but they definitely earned the five stars. I had to swallow my pride and despite my best efforts with various snakes and bladders and air pressure, every possible remedy I could think of, could not beat this clog. In fact they had to call in for an even bigger drain snake and within minutes, it was delivered. I know the feeling and they pulled it off. it's especially important that a company is at least big enough to be able to maneuver and work the logistics the way that the management has here the staff that I spoke with assured me that I'd be getting a call the morning of about half an hour beforehand and I did, and they were very helpful in allowing me to pay telephonically using my credit card. likewise the Plumber that assisted Jaime passed all of the same professionalism tests that I had, and I wish I knew his name because I would definitely mention it here. Thanks again to everyone at Elite Rooter, I owe you one. I'm thankful and impressed that they will charge what is advertised which is becoming a rarity these days and because of that made sure to tip very well and definitely know exactly who to call in the future whenever I have any plumbing issues. Worst plumbing company we've ever dealt with. Bad Plumbing Company, Scammer alert! Our main line was clogged with roots and we were fearful of it backing up into our home. We searched for a plumber but no one was available soon enough. We finally located a company called Elite Rooter that was available right away. They arrived and attempted to clear the line unsuccessfully. They then told us the only way to clear was to jet the line. We had that done two years ago by another company and it seemed to work so we agreed to have them do it. Cost: $1,200.00 After several hours of failed attempts with the Jetter they poked a hole with the snake and declared "we got you draining now", but don't attempt to use your washing machine because it will back up into your home. My apologies for rambling on, I'm frustrated. Long story short we spent $1,200.00 and they did not clear our line. The city came out on Monday and verified, with cameras, that our line was still, severely, impacted with roots. We just got ripped off for $1,200.00 by Elite Rooter. Always check the City website for reputable plumbers that have been vetted by the City. Please don't use or call Elite Rooter in Orange, CA. They refuse to send someone back out and after more than 8 calls to their corporate office their VP Annette won't even take our calls. My story does end on a good note: the City Sewer crew of Laguna Beach, Todd and his crew were great! They recommended Municiple Underground / Dave Patelli who was wonderful, fair and honest and cleared our main line, no problem read more

Frankie came by to do my free estimate inspection. He was awesome. He arrived on time as scheduled, brought a mat to make sure his shoes didn't get my porch dirty, and gave me a fair estimate. Very knowledgeable and professional. I had trouble understanding what I needed to get done to set up an outdoor grill with the gas line, and he was so kind and patient to explain it to me! It wouldn't surprise me if these reviews were bogus. The plumber will push you to do the most expensive, complicated method of fixing your issue. I always get 3 quotes before moving forward with any construction/plumbing work and the other two quotes were far less expensive and they had a simpler way of solving the problem. Also if you do decide to move forward and they ask for a 10% deposit don't do it. If they don't perform service you will not be refunded. read more

My Mom had this company out to clear a clogged drain, they rescheduled several times And are not a company of their word. The main complaint is that she had an estimate for the job that said they would attempt the job for $300.00 but there was no time limit or any mention that it would cost more if the job went longer then an hour. It was during the job that she was told it would cost more and at that point was over a barrel and had no choice but to let them finish. She has requested a refund of the additional charge due to the fact it was underhanded how the price was increased and was denied the refund, I feel they took advantage of a Senior citizen and should have been upfront with the estimate on time frame and increased cost because the job did not change. I understand estimate can change if additional problems occur but they did not and additional charge for time was not a factor in the estimate Which a reputable company would honor. They have zero experience in handling insurance claims for water leaks. Even a high school student would write a better insurance report than this company. Of all the plumbing services linked through this great outsourcing system of Yelp's, Elite Rooter was one of the first to respond and offer a technician to come out and check out our home within the next day. I wish I could remember the tech's name -- I want to say it was Mike? -- but unfortunately I can't find his business card :( Anyway, he arrived within the time frame specified (on the earlier end, even!) and was quite respectful of the current circumstances with his mask, asking permission to access certain areas, etc. Because I am a sad study in Murphy's Law, of COURSE the problem that prompted us to call out in the first place STOPPED while Mike(?) was in the house. OF COURSE. Thankfully he had a sense of what I meant when I described the in-wall noises, and even MORE thankfully he did not try to pawn off services for a hypothetical issue. He DID however leave his card and offer to return should the problem arise again. In, out, done! No charge, no add-ons, no sleazy sales, just great advice and reassurance. Initially I thought this business was great, very professional and provided great product and service HOWEVER I now need to amend my review. They installed a tankless water heater on February 20 and 21. It's now April 12 and am still waiting for a report stating how the leak was detected and what the remediation process was along with a detailed bill for services provided. I've reached out to Dion, who is/was my main point of contact and supervised the install process. I've also reached out to the office weekly asking for progress on the report. I've repeated been told it takes 7 to 10 business days to get the report and the report needs to be created by management which makes no sense as management had nothing to do with the leak detected nor remediation. This report is required by my insurance and it's needed to close out the claim. At this time I can't recommend this business. read more

Absolutely horrific customer service. My husband called last week to set up an appointment for someone to come out and do some work at our house. They set up a time for yesterday to come out. We purposely take the day as WFH to accommodate their schedule. They call the night before and tell us that they "accidentally" double booked the time slot and that there is no time that day or in next several days they can come out. Eventually, after we say we can't wait another week to have someone come out, they slot us in for today. 15 minutes before they're supposed to show up, we get another text. I too had a horrible experience with Dion and Elite Rooter. NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!!! I had a slow shower drain and had Elite Rooter San Diego came out to do an estimation. Grayson and one of his co-work came and I requested a camera through the shower pipe line and the main pipe line to see what was inside. They told me that the line were dirty that's why the slow drain but never shown me the video of the dirty lines. I requested to hydro jet the main pike line and the slow shower line for a quote of $1000. I believed Grayson and allowed to go ahead with the hydro jet. At this time, Dion showed up and take over the work. After the hydro jet, the slow shower drain did not fix. I don't know what they saw inside the pipe lines but they did a poorly troubleshooting on the problem. Now I have to pay $1000 and the problem was not fix. Dion assured me that with his 20yrs experience, it's the P-Trap that causing the problem. They need to break a 3X3 floor and replace the P-Trap for $4300 or pay $1000 and nothing fix. He can get the cost finance loan so that I can pay it monthly. 10 minutes later, I was approved for financing loan $4300 on Synchrony Back credit card. 3 days later, I had to call him to come and let me know what is going on. He came by in the evening after coming from another job, he started to focus on the rusted pipe line, not the P-Trap. He said that he have to replace the pine and with his 20yrs experiences, all of the other iron-cast pipe are rusted and they all need to be replace. It's city code that he had to replace all of the rusted pipe after knowing that they are rusted. He gave me a new quote of $20971, this included the $4300. He will canceled the previous $4300 from the bank(He never did). I told him that I can't afford 20 thousand, there got to be another way. He said he'll help me by lower the 20 thousand to $16671 if I would secretly gave him $2500 CASHES.... STUPID ME..& F....ME, I agreed and I signed the agreement to go ahead on the work. 2 weeks later Synchrony Bank disapproved my loan but charged a me bank credit card of $20971. This is the total of $4300 and $16671, he supposed to cancel $4300 but never did. Now I have to pay that amount. He cheated me $2500 cashes for himself and cheated me $4300 to Elite Rooter. He estimated that it will take 3 to 4 weeks but it took them 2 months from 9/20/2023 to 11/1/2023. They would come for couple of hours and gone for 2 days without any report. I had to follow up so much that I accused Dion that the work is a side job for him. Never keep appointment, always said that missing tool, missing part and don't show up for appointed work day. I'm process of looking for a legal assistance to help me deal with this group. DO NOT USE ELITE ROOTER. They don't itemize their work, over price, never keep appointment and don't show up for work. read more

Elite rooter is not reliable, they give you an approximate time and the show up days later. They seem confused when unclogging and they kept on telling me I keep needing other things. My sink water was barely going down and they were saying that's how the sink was made. I'm going to try another plumber. Not convinced and I wouldn't recommend. read more

Then they changed it several times and finally showed up at 8pm! Then the technician said he didn't feel well and had to leave. Unbelievable! I recently needed a 100' gas line replaced and asked Elite rooter to come out to give us a quote. Our gas was off and they were the first ones here ready to start. Their master plumber and regional manager that came out also spent 45 min walking around our property and was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. However, they ended up asking $25k to replace the gas line and was already directing their guys to start and trying to sign me up for financing options before I committed or received any written estimate. We talked to around 8 other plumbers where some were quoting less than 1/3 of that cost for the same job and were double the cost of the next highest bid which leads me to believe they were simply trying to take advantage of us as we had our gas shut off and trying to charge us 2-3x the amount as everyone else. read more

I sent a request to this company to come help out with a clog that usually happens every 5 to 6 months. Turns out it was bigger project than my dad and I had anticipated. They sent out Rafa, and let me tell you he got to work figured out the problem. But after one fix he noticed something wasn't fitting correctly and had management themselves come take a look at the problem. Turns out our piping was busted and pretty much would have collapsed if the problem wasn't fixed. They got the best deal during these inflation times and got the job done within 2 days. Rafa and his crew took care of us and helped us through the day. We all know how it feels not having a restroom to use, but they very courtesy and understanding when came down to it. We came home to a clogged kitchen sink and called Elite Rooter who was able to send Rafa out the next morning. What we thought was a simple clog actually turned out to be a larger backup further into the pipes which would ultimately require a hydrojet job. Despite this, Rafa spent almost 2 hours partially clearing the blockage to allow us to use the sink while we decided on next steps. Elite Rooter didn't charge us for the extra time, and held themselves to the original price estimate they provided which I really appreciated. This happened last year. Called them to come out to take a look at an issue. They first offered to "scope the line" for free. Then when they got here they moved the camera really fast up and down the old pipe and tried to tell me that I was looking at a main line break. They couldn't rooter it for the advertised price but instead had to dig up my entire front yard for $4,500. I dug up the front yard myself after telling them no, and where they claimed the break in the pipe was, there was nothing. Dry, perfect sewer line. After that I got a rooter and fixed it myself. Just had the same experience a year later with a different company. Beware their "free" or "cheap" services are just a scam to try to get you for bigger repairs. They sent out three trucks and five or six guys to try to "check out" what my issue was and then try to get me for more work. Mainly because old sewer pipes don't look clean and perfect, so of course you must need to work on them. Coincidentally, here I am a year later doing it again. I don't know why I bother trying to trust a rooter service with a price that is clearly too good to be true! read more

3 Bath House, We had a clogged shower drain in only 1 shower, made an appointment with Elite Orange, for Rooter and Hydro Jet. Plumber showed up and immediately proceded to do a walk through and forensic analysis of practically all of our homes plumbing. The plumber said he had to call a supervisor out, we waited 40 Mins for another truck, one he arrived they discussed the plumbing, we were quoted a price to rooter, and jet clear the clog of $325.00 which we agreed to. They started to snake it, then they said they could not snake the drain, the supervisor said the only way to clear it was for us to install a $1200.00 clean out at their quoted price. I could tell this was a "shake down" and "Upsell" from the minute the original plumber came out and had to start calling the office. We have had the same drain cleared 3 times before with other plumbers and no discussions, no extra trucks showing up and no upsell 'double team' shake down, much less having to resort to installing a $1200.00 for a clean out which in parts can be purchased at the hardware store for under $50.00. read more
