BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! If I could give negative stars I would, this is my first EVER review. Two of my friends and I went into this nail salon on New Year's Eve (two weeks ago tomorrow) as it was the only salon open that day, we figured we would try it out. My friend and I got manis and pedis while my other friend chose dip powder nails. We started the pedis and everything was actually going fine (I chose the mid grade pedi). So I get to the table for my hands and the girl who did my pedicure and manicure started on my friends dip powder nails (the whole time we did our pedis she was waiting there at a table and they never even started anything, it's like they forgot about her entirely) so another girl was going to paint my nails which wasn't a huge deal. So she's painting my nails with "shellac" (which I always get) but then she turns on a fan for my nails to dry which is weird because with shellac you're supposed to go under the uv lights for them to harden and dry. So I'm under this fan and my nails have ripples, so I show the girl and she asks me what I did wrong lol I told her I've been sitting here under YOUR fan like YOU said. She attempts to fix them ( with a snarky attitude) and turns the fan on again! Oh and both times she painted my nails she didn't even put top coat on, I had to tell her to! So instead of going under her fan I just got up and went to the large uv table and put my nails under that. They actually even made me pay for everything before I even started my manicure "so I wouldn't ruin my nails getting into my wallet after", which upset me because assuming I would get good service I had tipped really well. While the girl was doing my friends dip powder nails she kept grinding away at her nails multiple times and redid a few of her nails twice because I'm assuming she hasn't done many dip powder nails and didn't really know how to do them. After my other friend and I had pedis, manis and I had my fingernails fixed they were still trying to do the dip powder! We waited another hour after being completely done with our nails to wait for our dip powder friend. It's whatever at that point because we had already been there three hours, so we left. Well not even a week later, my "shellac" started chipping (which shellac doesn't chip, it just grows out). I called and told her the situation and asked for a refund, she offered to repaint my nails but I declined the offer. So I decide to just take off the paint myself at home today and it's just rubbing off with normal nail polish (not even acetone remover) which tells me they dilute their "shellac". I didn't soak them or anything before this, just took all the color off with normal Kroger brand nail polish remover. I am so angry with their rudeness, lack of professionalism and cheap quality of work and product. It was my first and absolute last time ever going to this place. read more

I got a full set of gel nails (or whatever the colored powder nails are called) on Feb. 12, 2016. I see that this place has some bad reviews so I really can't speak for anybody else that works here or any of their other services. However, Kim was very friendly!! She did a wonderful job on my nails! My only "complaint" would be that I got nicked a couple of times with the little drill thing. Nothing serious, and let's face it, these things happen when you get fake nails. So, it wasn't a big deal for me. Overall, I am very pleased and I will definitely be back. me and my two other friends had an appointment today and they were nice however. they didn't do anything with my cuticles just left them how they were which makes my nails look grown out. my nails are all different lengths my thumb nails are the worst. and my friend asked for matte and stars and they completely ignored her request. her nails are also uneven. then they charged us 50$ when we got basic colors and nothing extra and before we started they said 45$. they didn't use clean anything for me. the brushes by the sink were clearly old and over used. i would not recommend. read more

I went here today on a whim. Last time I went here 3+ years ago I came away disappointed. Today I came away equally disappointed. I went in for a basic manicure. Asked for rounded nails got some square some not sure of shape. Had to come home and reshape myself. Shop was filthy with lots of flies. Thank god I only paid $25 dollars. (20 for manicure 5 tip). Such a bummer. Need a better nail shop in this shopping center. read more

I'm from out of town ! And thought I could bring my sister and nieces to the place because it was close by were we where . When walking in the door it was hot and muggy with no air on ! Ok that's all right but there were flys all over the place and a dog running around in the back , the lady's that worked her had no personally with there heads down working ! After she was done she pointed to the counter and told me to go there (what?!) so I told her I was going to stay in the chair and wait until the people I was with where done , after I got up and moved to the window she ran to me for me to pay !!! I have been going to Elite nails for several months. I enjoy the deluxe pedi much more then then standard. I would recommend an appointment- just call ahead and they will tell you when to come in, but even without I have never had to wait long! read more

I asked for basic pedicure. I didnt want all the extras or to get parrafin wax. Basic was $20. I asked for jewels to be added for an extra cost. I repeated once more that I only want a badic pedi. As they began the paraffin dip I realized they didnt listen. I was then given a bil for $40 and on went my sandals. No jewels and upsaled, neither of which I wanted. Definitely don't let the older guy who works there do your nails he's so rough he snapped my real nail off and doesn't listen to what I want he does what he wants then painted the gel so thick it looks like I bought glue on from Walmart! The ladies are awesome but the old guy very disappointing! Sorry ladies I won't be back! read more

I have been going to Elite Nails for 4 years, never had a problem. The owner, Ann, always does my nails. The last two visits for nail fill I have had to use someone else and I got a horrible infection in my nail from dirty tools. I had to go to ER and get my nailed drilled in the center, cuticle had to be cut back, and have had to be on antibiotics now for 7 days - and it is still not cleared up. Returned to dr. yesterday to get stronger antibiotics for infected nail. I normally don't share things like this but want everyone to be careful when going here and using someone other than the owner of the shop. I will not return because this was a life-threatening infection according to the hospital ER. I will do without getting acryllics now. read more

Though my manicurist was pleasant and did a good job, the cleanliness of this salon is not up to par. The flies have got to be handled.

My friend and I went here for a shellac manicure. When we left the salon we noticed that the shellac was already peeling off. Two days later, my nails looked like I got them done 2 weeks ago not just a couple of days. My friend's nails did the same thing. I called to ask if they could fix my nails and wanted to get in first thing Tuesday morning and was told, "it's a busy time for us". So disappointing! read more

Never have been so glad to get out of a nail salon place. When I first walked in the guy that greeted was very rude, like I was bothering him. When I said I wanted a "basic" pedicure he nodded and spoke in his native language to another girl that works there. She came and asked me to pick a nail polish, I told her thanks and all I wanted was just a basic pedicure. After picking the nail polish and sat down, the water the super hot I didn't want to put my feet in the tub so after a while she turned the cold water on. She sits down and asks if i wanted a deluxe pedi i said no just the basic. I believe I had to repeat myself several times that I just wanted a "basic" pedi. As the she's applying lotion to my legs she says "Your heels are rough for an extra $7 i can do your heels." I said "No, thank you just the basic" Than asks "Do you want a flower on your toes?" I repeated myself again. I felt like all they wanted was more money out of me when I knew perfectly well I just wanted a "Basic" pedicure. The pedicure was not that great either. I have recently been to this salon 3 times (once for my eyebrows, and twice for my nails). When I got my eyebrows done I was not pleased but it wasn't horrible and they always grow back. However when I went to get my nails done: the first time I asked for a pedicure and described what I wanted (white tips with pink hibiscus flower). When she clipped my toenails she clipped them very uneven and I asked her about it and she said my toes are crooked?? So I asked for the clippers and fixed it myself. After she put the white tips I asked about doing the design and she complained that I want a lot. I am not sure what that meant but it seemed like she was complaining. She went and got yellow and white and came back and I said oh is that yellow? Please I don't want yellow. Then when she drew the flower she did her own design and not what I had asked for. The second time: I went in and asked for a pedicure polish change and a full set of nails. They did a very good job on my toenails and my nails. I gave them a $20 tip. 2 days later I decided I wanted my nails a little shorter so I went in and they were not friendly at all. I asked if it was ok for me to get them shorter and they started talking to each other and did not answer me. Then after a couple minutes one lady walked by me and said "first chair" I wasn't sure if she was talking to me or not and if she wanted me to go sit in the first chair?? So I went and sat at the first desk. She came up and grabbed my nails and I said "are you able to do shorter?" she said yes and grabbed the file. I asked her if she could use the drill tool because the file makes my nails too thick. She said yeah tool is better. The part that made me mad was that when she was done she charged me $5. Maybe I was spoiled at my last salon but if I got my nails done there and wanted them shorter they had no issue with it and did it for free. Especially if I was just in there the other day and spent $74 and gave them a $20 tip. There are not many salons near where I live now but honestly I will not be going back there for any reason. read more

Over priced, ran my debit card before I even okay-ed the price and never told me that what I got done was 10 $ more than the maximum price stated on their price board... upset and my account is upset too. Check with the person first before you pay more than you thought you would. Did a great job and made sure I was happy with the product but regret doing what I did when associated with the high cost. read more

really bummed! went in to get a pedi and nails. the pedi went okay but it seemed like if the girl didnt have so much experience :/ ! the guy who did my nails... OMG. he was arguing with me because i didnt want to get white tip?? i like getting full color on my nails and he was just mad the whole time he was doing my nails he was rough kept squeezing my fingers! and then my color had smuged and i told him and he was mad because he had to do it all over again. he fixed it and then let the nail dry, he thought it was dry and wiped his finger and smuged it ! he didnt even fix it i was already mad so i was like whatever...nails came off the 4th day. very unpleasent. not going back to that place. 3D nails is were i go now read more
