My sister and I were on the hunt for a good pedicure, bc most places are just not good. I was searching on yelp for any place that had more than 2.5 stars and stumbled across the Nail Center. It had 4.2 starts with over 100 reviews so we gave it a go! They were amazing!! The pedicure wasn't 90+ dollars and we got the deluxe! The massage was so relaxing & thorough! Way more than just rubbing in the lotion, which is how most places do. They actually removed the callus's on my feet which I also feel as though most places don't. I am so happy I finally found a nail place that does excellent work! This is my second time going to this place and I had Tyler do my gel manicure and pedicure and he is amazing! He is thorough, neat, and really listens to want you want. My nails have not looked this good in a long time. Attentive and acknowledged me right away when I walked in. I had a regular $35 basic pedicure, but did not expect the pedicure to last at most 15 minutes! Their "foot massage" is basically just touching your leg and not massaging it. I rather not have them "massage" my feet. It just felt weird and wasteful. They were all friendly, but the service was just way too fast and my color chipped as soon as I got home. Jenny was very nice and gave me a pretty good manicure although she cut my cuticle. Thi gave me a horrible pedicure. She practically made me get gel on my toes even when I told her I didn't want it, she cut and filed my nails before even starting the water, and when she finally filled the tub, my feet got to soak for 5 minutes before she drained the water. I asked for the water to be hotter and she barely let the water run before turning it off. Overall feels rushed and rude. read more

I am utterly disgusted by this place. I'm really not sure where the good reviews came from but felt like a giant nail farm where they stuff as much people as possible. My anxiety level creeped up during my pedicure and I left before my manicure. The lady that did my pedicure cut me pretty badly while trying to get dead skin that was on my toes and AFTER I screamed at her to stop, she kept going. On top of everything, their supply was not sanitary. I did not see any staff take cleaning supplies in a bag that has been disinfected to use on another client. I wanted to raise the problem to their management but no one was found. Calling the shop trying to raise the problem got me no where as well. I'm amazed this place did not shut down with their unsanitary cleaning during COVID. read more

My experience started with a smiling, happy tech opening the door and greeting me as we walked in together and ended with the most relaxing pedicure and shiniest manicure ice ever had. Nail Center is not huge but has more gel and dip colors than I've seen before, the cleanest pedicure tubs (and super comfortable chairs) and the best cleaning protocols I've seen in a while. Yes, they use fresh tools which each customer and are cleaning tools all day (the equipment is right there where you can see it.) I had a deluxe pedicure which comes with paraffin wax treament, hot stone massage and all the pampering you would want on a self care day! I followed up with a gel manicure. Wonderful, gentle treatment and the best smelling lotion paired with a huge selection of OPI, DND and Reveal brand gel polishes. I swear by OPI and was glad to see so many colors. The tech was a pro at gel - roughed the nail material first, fully dried the nail, applied the base coat throughly, sealed the edge of the nail with gel and top coat as she should! I feel very confident these nails will keep their color and not peel immediately! Prices were actually pretty good - $75 for deluxe pedi and a gel manicure. More expensive than Elvis Nails but you get what you pay for! Will definitely give them my business going forward. read more

i have been loyal to this salon, my family member recommended them to me after getting their wedding nails done here a few years back and they've always been great. i think new management has taken the place over and now it's awful! these are my 85$ (before tip) nails after 2 weeks. 4 broken nails, the first one being 4 days after getting them and i work in an office. after being pressured to pay extra for gel x, i passed and said i only want acrylic. the nail tech was really rough. she over drilled my nail bed to the point of burning, repeatedly dug her own nails into my skin and would not listen to me when i mentioned a hand injury on my right hand and would continuously bend and push on my injured hand. it was a generally u pleasant experience. It is obvious that the nails broke due to lack of acrylic structure. the acrylic was applied too thin. every other time i've come here, a nail wouldn't break until 2-3 weeks of having them on. this time was different. I truly believe it was intentional because i declined Gel X after their persistence. the acrylic was intentionally applied thin so they would break and i would come back just to pay extra for contact dermatitis these things break while im folding laundry or simply picking up my purse. then while typing this review, another one broke off!! wow this place sucks. read more

I went for a pedi and a full set - she didn't even scrub my feet and it wasn't well done . when I had my full set, she KEPT PUTTING PINK! I told her multiple times I did not want pink and she did it every time . Leaving this review so that I remember not to return next time. I got a mani/pedi with shellac. My pedi was not too bad until I got home and realized the nails were not all trimmed and the polish on some nails were disfigured looking. My mani was a rushed job as he had another customer waiting but this should not have impacted me as I had an appointment that shows both mani/pedi so it's not like I did a walk-in. My nail tech accidentally smeared shellac on my left ring finger and cured it. Instead of cleaning it with acetone, he decided to coarsely file my finger. The polish came off but so did my skin. It's the second day, and every time I wash my hands, it stings. I now know why, every so often, he would check to see if I was paying attention to what he was doing. He was making sure I didn't catch any of his mistakes. I paid about $100 for this mani/pedi before tips. read more

Went to get a manicure and a pedicure before my baby shower. The place was nice and clean and welcoming. The message chair was comfortable. Unfortunately as soon as I got home I noticed that the polish was already starting to chip off, the polish was uneven on some nails, there was a hair in my nail polish, my nails were rough, and my feet still had cracks/rough spots. I try not to be too picky, but I paid close to $100. I also was charged $10 more than what the technician told me I would pay. My tech was not around when I went to check out so I just sucked it up and paid more. I really wanted to love it, especially when it's such a special time, but I was pretty bummed out and have some huge buyers remorse. Yesterday was my first time going to the Nail Center. I made an appointment on-line for full set with ombre. I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed anything while I had a short wait. I showed my technician a picture of what I was looking for and it was similar to others, NC has in their google pics. As she looked for the supplies she needed, she spoke with a coworker ... she seemed a little frustrated that she couldn't find what she needed. Then I could see... even with a mask on ... that she was working it all out in her mind. She grab several powders only to start doing my nails then quickly grab another powder behind her. She did one nail and ask me if I liked it. I LOVED it!! Having had done my nails myself for years then decided it wasn't worth it.... I appreciate the nuances of applying nails and the techniques. She was very particular about how she applied the acrylic and took her time to shape it nicely. She checked with me several times throughout the process to make sure I was liking everything. When done, I had the color, look, and length I requested. One thing I didn't mention to her was the thickness. I absolutely hate when the acrylic is so thick and fat that you can't pick up anything. When that happens, I find myself filing them down as soon as I get home. This was NOT the case this time! The thickness is great and is what to be expected for it to last... not too thin and not too thick! I would have given five stars but there was one thing that I really can't overlook. The nail file used was, well.... very used and rough. When she filed the sides of my nails ... and yes, I understand this happens often, she filed down into my skin and I ended up with several cuts. I heal fairly quickly and I'm not concerned with the possibility of infection ... especially with all the hand washing and sanitizers ... but I think it is worth mentioning. Overall, I'm happy with my nails and will be back! read more
