After a very long search for Salons that said they were full service but didn't provide perms. I found Tangles in Thornton. Not only did I get exactly as I wanted for a new style and a new look with an expert haircut, but it was easy to book online and their availability was exactly what I needed to accommodate a crazy schedule and last minute decision to cut my hair. I had researched places to get a kids haircut. And found this place, prices are decent for kids haircut. So that's the good news. But it seems more for older people? Nothing wrong with it, it just felt a bit out of date that's all. There are a lot of chairs and most were full. Meaning it is quite busy here. And I'm glad, some of those older ladies looked so happy getting their hair done. So cute! But we had scheduled an appointment with Lupe. And upon arrival, they said she was not there. I was a bit shocked but nothing to panic about. Just was odd to me, if you schedule with a hairstylist at a specific time and they are not there. I never had that happen. So it was a bit different. I wonder if this Is this a training place? I don't know, but it seems kinda run down too. Not very up to date on hairstyles. Some other lady volunteered to cut his hair, we did not know her. But it seemed fine. I mean it's just for a kid haircut. What could go wrong? The child's haircut came out looking like a dumb and dumber haircut. Worst haircut he ever got. And very jagged too. I had an appointment with Lupe to get a haircut and balayage. I waited around 30 minutes after my appointment time but she made up for it with a free treatment. The outcome looks nothing like the reference photo--entirely blonde, doesn't look like balayage. And I really appreciate the time she took to try and correct it, but I can't help feeling a little bummed. The back is just too different of a blonde from the front. I have bleach blonde along my face and a copper color in the back. I love the lowlights and the frontal portion, the blonde is absolutely beautiful but I wish there was more consistency as it moved towards the back. read more

Everyone was very nice and the place was pretty busy. Im giving it 3 start b/c my hair sylist (Lupe), did not do the best job. She is so friendly and sweet, but it may be helpful for her to get continued education on hair coloring and cutting. She rushed through my haircut, leaving it uneven and chunky. My friend who got coloring was left with blotchy spots that were far from blended. I hope she can improve, as she is so sweet, but not someone my friend and I would go back to, unfortunately. read more

She was absolutely amazing as I was trying to find a picture of the look I was hoping to achieve, she was patient and kind And once I found it, I said "this may be impossible but...". Not only did she deliver EXACTLY what I'd hoped, but her personality was 2nd to none. She had me cracking up and I felt like if known her forever. I wasn't going to write a review at all because I really don't like to give bad reviews, but this is just ridiculous. I'm not so much angry as I am extremely sad and disappointed. It's really hard to give a review about the whole hair salon because there are so many stylists working there, so this review is only for Roxanne. The salon is really nice and everyone is really friendly. I've been coloring and cutting my own hair for about 17 years now because every time I go to a hair salon I have a bad experience. About 3 years ago a salon cut all my hair off and now I finally have long hair again, and I've been taking super good care of it because I wanted it to be long and nice. It was dark brown and I was sick of the color and wanted something lighter, like a light brown, but I wasn't sure about doing it myself because I didn't want to bleach it and ruin the quality of my nice hair. So I went to Tangles and talked to Roxanne and she said that she could do some highlights in it and make it brighter. The highlights turned out blonde, which wasn't what I was looking for, but it looked kinda cool anyway. It wasn't until I took a shower, washed, and brushed my hair I noticed that the blonde parts were totally fried. They're acting like rubber when I brush my hair, and the blonde hair is FALLING OFF my head. When I brush my hair, my brush is completely covered in blonde hair. I'm extremely sad about this since I've been super careful with my hair for 3 years, and had really nice hair for once. Now it's completely ruined. It takes me at least 20 minutes after every shower to brush my hair, and I have to use a ton of coconut water to even get the brush through it. I'm sure Roxanne isn't a bad hair stylist, but this is ridiculous. I ended up paying 100 dollars for fried hair and an uneven haircut. I'm never going to a hair stylist again. read more

Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk. So I sat down and waited for about 15 minutes and watched two ladies talk in the back who could see people come in. Finally one of the ladies from the back came up to us after I sat there and called the place from inside. Other customers were there just sitting waiting as well no one was there to greet or assist anybody. From random colors like bright red, to blues and purples, back to regular browns and blondes. There is no cut, no color, no look that I cannot bring to her and have her complete. I love change and she loves to make it happen. She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and makes the experience of getting your hair done fun and exciting. I used a Groupon for highlights deep conditioning and cut! OMG THE WORSE HIGHLIGHTS EVER !!I had spots all over and she didn't even go to the base of my roots! She did it so quickly that I had three different colors! The cut is also awful I asked for a layered cut with a trim... what I got is large layers in three areas and then none at the bottom. So needless to say after spending 75 With a tip I now have to have EVERYTHING redone!! Don't waste your money unless you want your hair to look like total shit! read more

So I had an appointment with a stylist at 12:15 confirmed by Vagaro. I arrived and called at 12:10. No answer. I called a few minutes later. Someone answered said tangles. I said my name and what time my appointment was and who the stylist was. Then that person handed the phone to someone else. That person said Roxanne stepped out, did I want to call her. I asked why would somebody step out if they have an appointment? Then they called Roxanne. She told them appointment was for noon. She had to go pick up her grandchild. I told the person on the phone I have a text on my phone from VAGARO And it states the appointment is confirmed for 1215 today did she want to see that on my phone I was out their door outside. The lady on the phone said I don't know what to tell you. Roxanne said the appointment was for noon and she's not here. You would think realizing there was some kind of a problem the business would offer another stylist or try to make amends somehow. They did not. So I would not recommend tangles salon after this. I told to the lady tactfully I guess I need to find someone who is much more professional than your staff here goodbye. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed in a business. I called ahead of time and asked if they wanted me to purchase their living social deal or if I came in would they still honor the deal, they said to come on in. I showed Jackie a picture of the hair I wanted, I gave her some freedom as to how short to cut my hair, but I told her no gold, red or brassy colors in my highlights. The cut was actually great, but that wasn't the problem. My hair was this ugly brassy/gold color, I hated it. She didn't have time to fix it b/c she had another client right after (which seems to be her MO). She told me to come back later in the week. I paid and tipped her 20% on what the full price would have been. When I came back she made me feel bad like I didn't communicate with her, even though I showed her pictures of exactly what I wanted and told her exactly what I didn't want. Without clarifying what I wanted for the second time, she just went in the back and mixed up color. AGAIN my hair was this mucky grey color and I wasn't happy and she made me pay again, and again I tipped 20% on what the full price would have been. Because I asked her to cut a little more off the back and because I wanted it fixed I paid again, and again I left unhappy and pissed. She told me to come back in a few days and she would fix it. When I came back all she did was tone my hair. I told her I wanted highlights to fix the color. She made up some excuse why she couldn't but the real reason was she had a lunch date with some guy she was flirting with right before I sat in her chair that she claimed was "just a friend", so unprofessional. This time I was pissed. I told her I was not happy and I wasn't going to leave without my hair being fixed. She instead wrote me a check for the second payment as a refund. Her check bounced. She gave me the run around for two weeks. Finally she told me to come get cash from her salon at a specific time. I showed up, NO JACKIE, NO CASH. She is the worst business woman and has no clue how to communicate with her clients to ensure they are happy. Not to mention her manager Debbie couldn't even be bothered to call me back. I'm surprised this business hasn't been run into the ground. Hey Tangle...this is not how to operate a business! I don't know about the other girls that work there but I don't recommend even taking the chance. This place is mismanaged, and if you get screwed over by one of the stylist the management will just turn a blind eye. Two thumbs down!!! read more

I found Leigh Ann on groupon. I always wanted to have a facial but didn't know where to go. I went in about 21 months ago and go at least once a month. Some times I do twice a month. I love her service! I recently got married and I wanted to look flawless! She helped me achieve my goals! I went in 3 times the month of my wedding. She was my top vender for sure! She kept me calm. It was so relaxing and I knew I could trust her because I started going a lil over a year before the wedding! I have never had any problems. I would recommend her to everyone! Especially brides!
