The older lady who did my pedicure was great and when she found out it was my first time in she was telling me all about the place. The guy who did my manicure was great as well. I have been to this salon on and off. I've always had a good experience until my last time. I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. My nails started lifting just a day after getting them done, they look so uneven, & they skipped prepping my cuticles entirely. The technician seemed rushed and didn't pay attention to detail, leaving me with bumpy, misshapen nails. I drove an hour back ONE WAY to the salon the next day, to show them my concerns and only a topcoat was reapplied. Even though I showed concerns of my nails already lifting. I am now on day three, in my top coat is peeling and the polish under my top coat is now chipping. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and professionalism. I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had a pedicure on Sunday and I had a reaction. A bad reaction. Lots of damage to the cuticles, my toes aches and hurt worse if you touch them. I get gel pedicures at other businesses and did not have this happen. I went to back to have the polish removed. They even said they could see the damage. I was charged for the removing process so I paid 70.00 and have nothing to show for except damaged skin, wasted time and money I could have spent somewhere else. I will not be back. read more

I have been to thos nail salon 3 times and each time I've been snubbed, disregarded, and I would love to say at least their nail art and work is good. My first attempt we were told it was a long wait, which was not an issue. I get long wait times. I had a chance to look around before my Husband and I realized we wouldn't have time. At first appearance it looked disorganized and not and clean looking as I'm use to. 2nd time I came in with my daughter, really wanting to give this place a shot, and sometimes looks aren't everything and it'd be nice to have a place local. My 10 year old daughter and I weren't even greeted, acknowledged, and I was there for 10mins before we decided to leave and find another place. 3rd times the charm (or curse) and I had broken a nail at work, much ti where I needed a fix as my nail was ripping up on the middle of my nail. I get sanitation l, however when I was asked when I said I needed a fix, the lady didn't even look at the damage to my nail to confirm whether it could be fixed, just asked if it was still bleeding, I replied, "No, but it did when it first happened." I was informed it isn't fixable without even checking it. I went to Image Nails in Brighton who took care of me and didn't snub me. Again, I use to eb a medical assistant so I understand sanitation, I work in customer service so I know better than to snub someone and to not disregard them. I was really hopeful but not every place is for everyone. First times beware, I hope others have a better round than I did, just a warning for others for my experience and maybe for them to learn from my experience. read more

WITH the paraffin Wax, 2 minutes and 56 seconds massage. If you are going to risk it, don't go to the men and if they make you, wait for one of the ladies. I love it when people are customer service friendly and also sensitive to your needs or requests. I have a couple medical conditions that are private and also make my rather insecure about myself. I am not going to share what they are obviously, but I did share them with my nail technician. She was completely compassionate about it and very kind and helpful too. I fully expected to be rushed. Most of the time when I go get a pedicure, I am rushed. Yet I wasn't here. That in itself impressed me. She was so understanding and caring. In customer service it goes a long way. It also helped that I had a couple of wonderful ladies next to me to talk to. I had gone by myself on a Saturday, I did make an appointment. You'd be crazy not to at any nail salon on the weekend. I've seen some of the reviews for this establishment, they are mixed. I have been here a few times with my sister or by myself. One thing I will say to anyone reading the reviews is check out profiles. I never trust a review from someone who only wrote 1 review, has no friends, isn't active, only went one time. It is my personal 'golden rule' to never give a review after going only once. We all have bad days, so I like to at least go twice before giving any review. It is important to be balanced. Also, you never know if the reviewer has an 'axe to grind'? Maybe they are an ex-employee. I have seen so many businesses targeted on here, it is sickening. Especially because many people use reviews to decide if they will/wont go to that business. I admit I have. However, I also believe in giving any business a chance. Much like a movie, the 'critics' are not always correct. I not only was impressed with my nail technician, but made a new friend as well. When she finished, she even told me to relax for a bit. Now that is some EXCELLENT customer service. I made sure to tip her nicely and thanked her so much. I do plan to go back and request her (Cyn I think was her name). You are welcome to ask for her or anyone. I would highly recommend her! Great conversation and she truly gives her best effort! This is one thing I always share with people: make your request known. Use your voice. If the technician is hurting you, cutting you, etc... SAY SOMETHING! Don't be mean, but speak up and let them know. Request they go slower. Money talks, and they know this! They want the repeat business and they want positive reviews. It is better to speak up than be passive-aggressive and just not say anything to them, but then go leave a bad review. I scheduled an appointment, as always took 35Min after scheduled appointment time. I had came in for rebase, did original shape on nail. Chose a color and the lady rushed the whole process. Didn't take her time on making sure she did the proper steps, didn't ask me to wash my hands before starting, didn't follow the right steps when applying gel polish which caused nails to peel, chip within hours of leaving the salon. $45 for a rebase and gel. $65 for a full base one color, short tip nails... I called and told the lady on the phone my nails started to chip and peel due to poor service. And laughed.. This place is ridiculously expensive for the service they provide. It wasn't bad just rushed and tech had filing tool turned up a bit to high so burned my fingers. My daughter had her set taken off and replaced and the tech cut her several times. funny story, i actually go to the one in prairie center and thought i called to have an appt there but i was like whatever lets try them. but never again for one the guy kept getting interrupted with phone calls so he missed multiple steps during my full set. Came clear out here from Thorton and it was well worth the trip . I was recommended Kim from one of my restaurant customers after I admired her nails. Kim did amazing!!! Most times I leave nail salons with bleeding finger because being a server my hands are extra extra dry, however Kim was extremely gentle. She communicated very well the whole time making sure we were always on the same page. She was fantastic at taking all my ideas and making them happen. Prices are fair. I wanted to stay in my town to get a quick pedicure and that was a big mistake! The guy at the front asked what I needed and he was the one who ended up doing my pedicure and he barely did anything. Clipped my toenails to "make them even" even when I requested he only file them and then he didn't even dig around the sides to make sure there wasn't any ingrown nails, which there was, and they started to hurt when I got home! He rushed through and I was in and out quickly and not to mention their supplies weren't even sanitized; he just pulled the clippers out of his basket and wiped them off with a towel after he was done with me. Well, like I said, $20. pedicures are advertised on the glass of this nail salon. Once I arrived, the very first thing I noticed was that very strong, terrible smell of acrylic nails. Yuck! I was promptly greeted and seated at a pedicure chair after I picked a color. Next, the lady asked if I wanted the upgraded pedicure for $35. (which she didn't do a great job at convincing me of) or if I wanted just the regular pedicure. I opted for the regular pedicure. As I sat there, I noticed how dirty, dusty, and unkept the place was. A bit cluttered, but also just in need of some real attention to detail. The lack of cleanliness can be a real problem for some people. The salon needs a good deep clean. For sure this is a turn off for a lot of customers, customers like me! The lady who did my pedicure seemed very nice. Overall she did a good job and paid attention. However, the polish was a bit messy. When I went to pay, she said it was $22. Hmmm... Now that's interesting (a case of false advertising perhaps). I didn't say anything. Instead I paid, left a tip and left. Nothing special here. Improvements could definitely be made for the better, especially if they want to attract more traffic and charge more money. read more

My first time EVER going to a nail salon. They greeted me and were friendly. They were fairly busy when I got there but had open seats for people which was awesome that I didn't have to wait. I asked for a manicure and they got started really fast. The clean up of my cuticles was nice and quick, however the nail color job was sloppy. I could have honestly painted it myself and done a way better job. At the end the short hand massage was strange and not very stimulating. Although the oils they used smelt great. Yet on occasion I've used them because of their convenient location- - but without fail EVERY time I make an appointment I arrive only to be informed they are running at least an hour behind. Amazing nail salon. I came in with the driest hands and feet. The woman who was taking care of me has an intern she was teaching. She was patient and kind to her and also very very nice and friendly towards me. You know how sometimes you go into a salon and you feel like they are talking a snack about how horrible your feet are it they get sassy bc you don't want to upgrade your pedicure or upgrade to have a design painted on your foot? Totally not like that here. Also appreciate how much time she took on me to make sure it was done well. Don't usually go to this salon but thought I would try it out. I was very disappointed to say the least. I got a rebase and a pedicure, it says they officer multiple pedicure options however they did not give me any options and it was not soothing as most pedicures are. My rebase was very very rushed, the guy did not ask me how long I wanted my nails, he did not ask me what shape I wanted my nails, he just hurried through and did what he wanted leaving my nails crooked. He missed the sides of the nails when he was polishing so I had to ask him to fix it. When he did the top coat he only applied to part of the nail and not the entire nail which left the nails sticky. When I told him he missed spots with the top coat he said it was like that because they use a different top coat yet I could see where top coat was and where it wasnt.
