Despite the previous bad reviews I decided to stop by and get a mani and pedi since it's conveniently located and I had to prepare for a wedding. I did make an appointment as it seems it's a must at many places nowadays but the receptionist explained to me that they do not do acrylic and since I did not know what else was out there she was very helpful in explaining what gel was. (I don't go to the nail salon very often!) As I walked in I was immediately greeted and there was music playing at a nice level. I picked my color and was seated right away. Suzy was did both my pedi and mani and she was amazing! I was so relaxed during my pedi I could have fallen asleep! They are pricey but what service in CO isn't! I will be going back for another mani or pedi in the future! Overall I had a great experience. The only thing I would request is to have the option of acrylic and offer complimentary alcoholic beverages! Just an idea!

Had some time in between OB appointments so I decided to pop in and get a pedi knocked off my list of things to do before baby comes. I thought they did a pretty good job; she really went to town on my callouses and now my feets feel nice a soft and rid of all that nasty dead skin. I recommend the paraffin pedi because it's so nice to let your feet also marinate in some paraffin for extra luxe softness. All in all a very good and decent pedi and I would totally come back if I was in the area.

there was no wait at all for three of us as a walk in on Saturday which was awesome!. I did the jelly pedicure and it was great! Lots of colors to choose from! Affordably priced Their manicures are done in recliner chars rather than tables too! 10/10 if I lived closer this would be my go to salon!

Dirt or scrub dried into my polish and clumpy gel polish lifting at the cuticles in all the toes

ZERO STARS! The worst pedicure ever! I've been in the nail industry and it's been a decade since anyone use a nail filer to remove gel polish! I should have walked out when she took a mini nail filer and tried to take off my gel polish on my toe scraping the skin around the toes so much I am still sore today! They knew i was hurting bcz the tech next to me saw me squirm and said that really hurts! One of my big toe had partial top coat and the other had dirt/lint/left over filings in the CURED polish, the gel was clumpy, all over my cuticle AND MY PINKY TOE WAS HALF POLISHED WTF!!! After removing 20 minute of trying to scrape off my gel there was a quarter tub of water for my pedicure?! Like she forgot there should actually HAVE water for a pedicure! It was $60 for polish change cuz there was no water half ass scrub and patted lotion on me?! Idk if it was bcz they were closing but DO NOT TAKE CLIENTS if you're gonna do a mediocre job! My pedicure was a bday gift and I'm so upset my gf paid for this mess on my toes (photos below)

I received a gift certificate to this place thoughtful. I set an appointment the place was clean and quiet. Sat in a chair and a guy seen I had shellac on, he left and talked to a girl then she came over. She started to take the shellac off with a file. She filed length wise to where it was hurting my toes. I had to tell her to cut shorter. I got the candle wax $50. That felt nice on my legs. Then when it was time to paint someone else came over and ended up doing more cuticle removal and painted. Will I go back you ask, tell me would you, I don't appreciate sore toes.

I got a pedicure here and it was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The service itself was fine but it took over two hours to dry, the polish had bubbles in it and 4 toes smudged immediately after leaving the salon. For a $68 service, I expected better quality results.

I've been here a couple times and services have been phenomenal both times. Definitely a new favorite place for pedicures. I won't go anywhere else now. The prices are great for the amazing service. Staff is friendly and efficient. For those of us with LATEX allergy...This is one of the few places I've found that use nitrile instead! That alone earned 3 stars above the rest. Chocolate pedicure and jelly pedicure are both great! Super clean, nice atmosphere. They do not do acrylic nails so no smell to deal with. Fabulous!!!

Absolutely do not recommend getting your makeup done by Dee at Ivy Beauty and Hair…read more I booked her to do my hair and makeup for my anniversary dinner and to try her out to see if I liked her work so she could do my makeup for my engagement pictures but it was a horrible experience. I've never looked uglier than when I left the salon. I was in tears and I ended up just canceling dinner. I was specific about several things I wanted/didnt like and she did the complete opposite. For starters, I told her I didnt want my makeup to to look too dry/cakey and she put on a super matte/drying foundation. The contour was probably a shade darker than the foundation cuz I couldn't even see it and I dont think she put any blush on even though I had asked for it and so the base made me looked super washed out and cakey. I have powder brows so I told her we didnt have to do anything to them but she proceeded to flatten them down with brow gel without even cleaning them up where she got foundation on them so I was left with crusty flat brows with foundation all over them. The eye makeup.......that was what really made it unsalvage-able....I showed her a picture for inspiration, it was a brown soft glam look with a pop of gold shimmer on the lid. Well she went ahead and did the entire thing with shimmers!! The entire thing done with shimmers! I should've known it wasnt gonna look good when she finished it in 5 minutes! No effort to make it look like the picture or properly blend it out....I thoroughly told her that I ONLY wanted inner corner eyeliner and a long wing NO liner on my actual lid. I told her i wanted to tight line my upper lash line with mascara so NO EYELINER WAS NECESSARY ON THE ACTUAL LID. Welp, she proceeded to put the thickest liner all the way on my eyelids! Probably to cover the ugly eyeshadow? I dont know but I was very specific about that! I also let her know I didnt want anything dark on my lower lash line, tell me why she put BLACK eyeliner on my lower lashline? Oh man...and I did ask her to fix a few things as she was going but it was all a wreck and didnt look like it could even get fixed at a certain point so I just gave up. I asked if she could take the lower liner off and she "took it off" by adding more concealer on my already cakey under eyes and the liner was still there anyway...oh and when she added the concealer, it made the liner bleed and it turned blue? So now my lower lash line was a smudgy blue/black mess. I told her how I like my liner done. I like a long sharp wing, she gave me a short curl wing and she never did the inner corner even after I brought it up a couple of times. I told her i didnt like lash strips and just wanted mascara, she went ahead and crookedly put some lashes on me. She didn't even let me choose the style or anything. She also didnt even ask what lip color I wanted and she put on a super light nude that washed me out even more than the messed up base had already done. As far as the hair goes, I asked for my bangs to be styled a certain way because I dont like when they part, well she went ahead and parted them and dried them to the side and made them super flat. I asked her if she could redo them because I like more volume and having them down the middle so she did but she left me looking like somebody's Tia in the 80s.....the hairstyle itself was the one thing I didnt hate even though i asked for volume and she didnt add enough of it for my liking.....overall everything was just a mess....when she was done even she looked at me shocked at how ugly it all looked, I was clearly tearing up over how bad it all came out and she still had the nerve to charge me the full $180. If you're gonna charge that much, LISTEN TO YOUR CLIENT. At the very least don't do the complete opposite of what they're asking! I still, stupidly, tipped her $20 and that felt like the worst $200 spent. This ended up ruining my anniversary cuz no way i was going out in public like that. I didnt even wait to go home to try and fix it. I went into the salon bathroom and immediately wiped that hideous lip color and took the lashes off. I tried to fix it at home but it was beyond repair. Oh and throughout the whole thing she didnt even bother making any sort of conversation, not personable at all. Almost as if she was doing me a favor and not happy about it.

I've been coming here roughly every three weeks for the past two years and my first suggestion is…read moreto ask for Kimmie. Kimmie takes her time, she's detailed and precise, won't rush you, very personable and she LOVES doing nails so she's never scared of a complicated design. Overall: I often leave very pleased with a nicely done manicure or pedicure. Friendly, fast, and respect their employees. Tendency to miss steps. Pricey. Often unwilling to do designs (or may just lack in teaching/explaining why it's not possible). Will still recommend to others. There's many things I love about this salon: -inviting atmosphere -well staffed -a lot of dip/powder color choices -short walk-in wait times -friendly technicians -"cash tips are appreciated" is noted at every station showing they have standards and care about their employees What could be improved: -rushing their process and the customer -ability & willingness to do moderate to complex designs -dip/powder price starts at $50 (I.e. no shape changes or added length) -quality & precision; a few great tech's never miss a step but most tech's will miss/skip step(s) (E.g. drilling/filing under nail for added comfort, lotion massage upon completion, comparing nail lengths, etc.) -sweeping more regularly; busy weekend days can result in slipping and sliding on the tile, especially in sandals I am currently trying out different salons as I have not enjoyed my last three visits. 1) Weekday, seated immediately, was given a set of colors (~20 colors). Didn't like any, showed the tech a photo of 2 colors I'd like, told they didn't have color 1 and showed me an option that was only slightly similar to color 2, felt rushed, picked 2 totally different colors instead. Tech focused on socializing with other techs. Kept looking away, nicked me with drill, bled, tech ignored blood. Tech continued to socialize, skipped a lot of filing, asked for adjustments, left with nails stuck to skin. 2) Weekend, busy. Showed tech 2 colors, she went and grabbed a color set, told me they didn't have color 1, showed me exactly what I wanted for color 2. Color 2 was what I was looking for the last time I came in, I realized the last tech simply didn't care to show me other colors. No complaints about the actual visit. 3) Weekend, busy. Discovered they have 3+ sets of colors while waiting. Showed tech various colors/designs I'd like, none were possible. Gave me the same set I disliked from visit #1. Gave up, showed tech the color on my nails (color 2) and asked for that. She said they didn't have that color! Frustrated, I explain that the color was from here. She finds color 2, I once again settle on a random second color, #66. Brings the wrong color, #99 (no difference between 66 & 99 on the printed label). Frustrated enough, I don't say anything. My last and final frustration was realizing that #99 was color 1 I asked for during visit #1.

I do not typically leave reviews, but unfortunately, the past few times I have visited have been…read moredisappointing. I cannot generalize for everyone who works here, but this has been my personal experience. Everything felt rushed, with my pedicures lasting only about 15 minutes. I also noticed an attitude when I requested a regular pedicure, almost as if choosing not to pay for a deluxe service was an inconvenience. I understand everyone has busy days, but I believe every customer should receive good service regardless of which option they choose.
