They actually removed the callus's on my feet which I also feel as though most places don't. The treatment for the hair consult as well as anything to do with touching my hair was where it got rough. She pulled my hair, whapped my in the head with brushes, the hair dryer and curling iron. The shampoo process was so painful with all the hair pulling and her whacking my head. My neck was sore for 2 days after the appointment from where she dug her fingers into me. She started cussing while telling me her stories. It was really kinda frightening and the first time I ever thought about ending a hair appointment early and walking out. When all was said and done, the bronde balyage we agreed on was mostly brown with red highlights. I wanted to cry. That is 2 hours and change and over $300 that I'll never get back.

I feel like they'd get soo much more business if their entrance was visible from busy 120th St. I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a gel rebase. There was only 1 other customer besides me at this salon which was nice since my other salon was completely full and couldn't take any walk ins for 1-2 hours. A gel rebase is $40 which is similar to every other salon that I've been to in the area. Glam Shop Nails has a wide variety of gel colors which I appreciated. The only bad thing about my visit here was the drill burned my fingers a little bit. Monique did my rebase and applied my gel polish way better than how they applied it at 360 Nails. Not only did the staff fail to handle the situation appropriately, but they actively encouraged another customer to intervene rather than addressing the matter themselves. No customer should ever feel unsafe, threatened, or subjected to harassment while receiving a service. Management should take this matter seriously and hold the employees involved accountable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Customers deserve a safe, professional, and respectful environment, and this business failed to provide that. This version focuses on your experience and avoids claims that could be challenged if you decide to post it publicly. Shame on you guys!
