They're a little bit on pricey side, but they always are able to fit mee in, so I don't mind. It is fairly clean, I'm immunocompromised and I've been fine going there. Truthfully the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I don't get my nails done often, really only for special occasions or events. I've been here before, maybe over 2 years ago and I recall having a decent experience, so I decided to come back to get my nails done for my wedding day. HUGE MISTAKE. First of all, no one speaks English. I booked an appointment and came in with a very simple request for a natural colored almond shaped nail, which I also had an example picture of. When I showed the woman helping me a photo of what I wanted, she basically just looked at it and then ignored it and continued to push a cart over of 50,000 overwhelming color options for me to choose from. I asked her twice if she could just help me find the exact color in the photo that I wanted and she just said "I don't think we have it." Beyond frustrating, considering it was a very neutral skin tone color. Things got gradually worse. Once the woman finished my pedicure with a color that I didn't love, but ended up with because I had no other choice at that point, I was told that a man would be doing my nails. I sat down and immediately tried to explain to him that I was getting married in 2 days and that I had a very specific vision in mind. He looked at me like I had 3 heads.. and then someone came over and told me he doesn't speak ANY English. Again, mind blowing. He was awful. And he kept smacking my hand trying to get me to relax..... but how does one relax when their wedding is in 48 hours and you can't even communicate to me in English? Every time I noticed something wrong with what he was doing, I would ask him to fix it and he was getting visibly irritated at me. I contemplated walking out halfway through many times, but I had entirely way too much to do and didn't have time to deal with another salon at this point. I was so fed up with this place by the time I was finally able to get the heck out of there. Of course, the non English speaking man was somehow in charge of cashing me out, which was whole other nightmare. I obviously won't be coming back, and I wouldn't suggest coming here if you're a bride, or just a person that is hoping to get exactly what you want while having a pleasant experience. read more

Cannot speak highly enough of Unique Nails! I moved to Broomfield mid-pandemic and needed a new nail spot to go to. Being so close to home, I figured I would give them a try. Well, they have made a repeat customer out of me. They have amazing prices (slight increase because of covid) but even their new prices are great! I have never left disappointed with the work I got done OR the amount of money I spent. The prices are reasonable and the quality of work is unmatched by other nail salons. I have been going to Wen since I began my relationship with Unique Nails. I started coming in and getting shellac, but we were realizing I was breaking nails so badly (bartending) and was frustrated that I could not get any natural length. Wen suggested we try dip powder and she has been taking amazing care of my nails WITHOUT tips to add length! I also struggle super badly with hang nails not only on my fingers, but on my toes and they take care of them so gently and always make sure I am comfortable with the work they are doing. My go-to place for mani-pedi! I suggest booking an appointment online, that way you can get your preferred tech and won't have to wait. Worst manicure I've ever had. She did NOTHING that I asked. Clipped nails WAY too short, used a polish I didn't want, nails are different lengths. None of the workers in the shop spoke English so they couldn't understand anything I said. One girl spoke a little English, but not enough to understand me. the one doing my nails never spoke the entire time I was there. Went in for a rebase and pedicure. I ended up with completely new tips, which was more money and unnecessary. I was forced to pick from Halloween style nails even though Halloween was the next day and I said I wanted plain nails. There's black specks in the lighter color, the shapes are inaccurate and stupid long, she cut me pretty deeply, and to top it off not even a week later the gel coat on my ring finger is completely peeled off, half of it peeled off of my pointer finger, one of my toes are chipped and the cat has like a crater in its face. They also don't seem to keep track of appointments at all, booking online doesn't matter. Never coming here again. Edit: two days after submitting this review, two nails are lifting already. This is a new set, should not be happening. Even more disappointed. Edit 2: within 2 weeks all of the nails were off. Waste of money. read more

Called and asked for an appointment and they said 3:30 would work, who ever picked up the phone was very hard to understand as well. When I arrived (on time) I was seated in the waiting area and waited around 15 minutes then they handed me colors to pick out. At around 40 minutes of waiting I left and let the staff know that I was very disappointed in their customer service. I was frustrated that they would say that a time works for an appointment and then completely disregard that. When I got up to leave one of the ladies said they were just finishing up, and I was next but they seemed very unorganized and I wasn't about to wait for 10 more minutes when I had an appointment. I don't really write reviews, but that may have been the worst manicure I have ever had. booked an appointment online yesterday for 12:15pm to get my dip taken off + a basic manicure. Got there 5 minutes early, and wasn't seated until after 12:30. the woman had me dip my full fingers in acetone, rather than foiling just my fingertips to get the dip off. then she proceeded to e-file my nails with 3 different tools, 4 separate times. the first few layers of my nails are destroyed! while cleaning my cuticles, she was aggressive and didn't soften her approach even after I winced a few times. she cut me and then put nail glue over the cut, no sanitizing. there was still blood on my nail bed when she put down the base coat. the "massage" was about 45 seconds long for both arms. my nails are uneven, streak-y, and globby in places. this morning I noticed a chip already. at $21 I guess you get what you pay for? read more

Very horrible experience here. My daughter called ahead to make reservations. We waited for 5 to 10 minutes and then had us sit in the seats for our pedicures. The water was cold and we still had to wait another 5 to 10 minutes. They started my daughter's pedicure first. Her technician was slow and used the grater on her foot and made her bleed. The technician put something on my daughter's foot that was very painful. They didn't even start my pedicure until my daughter was almost done, so I had my feet in the water for almost an hour before they started my pedicure. One technician started on my pedicure and just got up and left and didn't return. Horrible pedicures, horrible customer service. We will never come back here again. read more

So I checked this place out because of the yelp reviews and it was close to work. My nails were getting too long for me and outgrown. The place was pretty dead but it was over my lunch hour so I thought maybe it was that. The girl was super sweet but she didn't seem very experienced. I requested she cut my nails down by half so they were more manageable. They look decent and I love the color but I'm not sure what she did. My nails were super strong, long, and not a single break and now I have 4 broken nails in 2 days, very close to the quick. I have never had this happen before after a manicure. Now I have to cut them down and ruin my $40 manicure so that I don't rip them. Very disappointing. Won't be going back. I also spoke with my office mate afterwards, she also tried them the week before and her nails peeled within a day! read more

I love this place because the prices are really good, especially for the overall quality of work. I've had a couple not-so-great experiences, but the majority of the time my nails turn out great. When it wasn't great, it was usually an issue with the top coat: a couple times it changed color in sunlight and another time it was the dregs of the bottle and turned out kinda lumpy. The girls are very nice. They do tend to chatter amongst themselves a lot, which doesn't bother me, but I realize some people dislike that. read more

Which had I known I would not have come in. Given the great Yelp reviews I decided to try Unique. After my first visit, with Gina, I was thrilled with Unique. Mani, pedi and waxing were all fantastic. Second time I was there Gina was not in. The woman I was assigned to (older lady, did not speak English) was s..l...o...w. It took 2 hours for a basic mani and pedi, and she was so behind someone had to step in and do my mani from the pedi chair. It was not well done and the entire experience was mediocre at best. I decided to try once more. Got the same slow woman and opted against a mani. I decided to go for the deluxe pedicure and it was not worth the additional $10. Again...slow. She cut the cuticle on my toe and it would not stop bleeding - in 20+ years of pedicures I have only had that happen one other time. She looked at me, said "sorry" and went right along with my foot bleeding everywhere. She cut the nails on another toe so short that it started bleeding as well. The polish was poorly applied and had bubbles underneath; it began peeling within a day. When I got home I saw that one of my nails was cut at a 45 degree angle so I had to redo that toe. Less than three days later I got an ingrown nail on my big toe (which I never get) because of how she cut that nail. I was hoping I had found my new place, and sadly this is not it. They are higher priced than other places, but the quality of work is too spotty to be able to make this a regular place. read more
