I've only had one time where the gel mani didn't last over two weeks and that was I believe because it was an inexperienced nail technician that didn't cover the edges of my nails, but every other time I have had great experiences here. Don't let the name change fool you, Bella Nails is in business between Dillards and the container store at the Flat Iron crossing mall. I got the regular pedicure and Nancy did a great job! She cleaned up my feet, gave me an excellent massage and polished me up right. I've had ok pedicure massages and this was a serious deep calf massage. Delightful! The only difference between the standard and deluxe pedicure is the increased price. I arrived at 5:15 pm on a Tuesday. There should have been no rush... I was the only customer. I paid for the deluxe Pedi, which is $15 more than the standard. I was in & out in 30 minutes. I left with rough skin that appears untouched, and the relaxing massage that Id been thinking about all day lasted all of 45 seconds total. I really want to support this local business! Kinda disappointing but definitely a hit or a miss place. Came with my roomate and she had an amazing experience but I really did not. To be fair the woman doing her nails was different and she was super sweet and the only reason im giving 2 stars instead of 1. I was frustrated with many things the first is how rushed I was, she was clearly doing a speed job. It was noticeable and she kinda ruined my cuticles, one of them is pretty red and swollen right now. Might be infected but definitely got cut by her. The second is that she didn't paint my nail completely which was very weird, i wish i said something but I think the most frustrating was that she had me pay/tip between my mani and pedi service. This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I did a walk in, I get that I don't have an appointment but I don't mind waiting for a bit. But instead I had three tech worked on my hands. Nails was uneven in size, length, amount of acrylic, and shape. What upset and frustrated me the most was the acrylic started to loose bonding in the corners of literally every single nails. I asked to come back and get it fix the next day. And when I'm there I told them what I'm seeing but they don't see the same issue that I'm seeing. All she did was file and smooth down the gel finish and a thin layer of acrylic. After that applied a new coat of gel all that while hurting my cuticles in the process. She should've redo the whole set, but too lazy to do so. Don't waste your money and time here. read more

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Let's start with picking out a nail color. I had to wait to get the color options for gel polish because they only had one sample ring. After getting the sample for a very short time (and obviously still looking at them), one of the ladies who worked at the salon approached me and told me she was taking it for her customer. After I said no, she told me she is bringing it back. I am unsure why I needed to wait but her customer needed it right then and there, but she took it unapologetically and was very rude the entire time. This ridiculous experience isn't the worst part. They reuse all of their equipment. ALL OF IT. I have pictures in case you had doubt. At the end of the manicure, before the lady even finished putting oil on my cuticles, a different lady was literally hovering waiting for me to pay. I ignored her, I would hand her my card when I have gathered my belongings and went to the front desk where you are supposed to pay. She stood right next to me and followed me to the front desk while I grabbed my phone, wallet, and coat. When I did get to the desk, without telling me a price, she charged my card. I'm lucky I don't have an infection from their disgusting tools, and unfortunately it's been less than a week and my nails look awful. read more

I can't speak for the entire establishment, because this was my first time, but Gwen did a fabulous job! This was my first time getting nail extensions and dipping powder. She did a great job explaining when I had questions, and she clearly cared a lot about the work she was producing. I left loving my nails! Mimi's Nails is one of the best pedicure places I have ever been to. The shop is bright and immaculately clean. Chairs are comfortable. I have been 4 times now and always see Linda. She is so friendly and warm- she remembers my name (even though she must see tons of people between my random visits) and greets me with a smile. There are numerous services to choose from, but I always get the $45 pedi with paraffin wax and a hot stone massage. This pampering is divine and worth every penny! My feet feel and look wonderful when the pedi is complete. I also can't believe how long the polish lasts- it hardly ever seems to chip. The ladies here are very very nice but I won't be going back after my last visit. I was cut a minimum of 3 times, once on my toe which was the worst of the cuts, and then three times on different fingers. Not to mention it's extremely frustrating to go into a nail salon and have them tell you they can't do any of the things you want because it's not possible, we don't have that color, that won't work when it's simple things like making the point of my nails sharper, a red and gold ombré, or a simple design. I've been here a lot, but it's truly hit or miss with me. I don't think they are very clean and don't like how they will be squirting your tub with bleach and brushing with a little brush while you're sitting there waiting for your nails to dry. Just doesn't seem like a thorough clean job. I have got some pretty pedicures and manicures though. I do have to say though.... I always get the same deluxe package and it ends up different based on which nail tech does it. Sometimes I'm there an hour, sometimes 30 minutes. My friend and I wanted to give this place another try. The last time we got our nails done here it was terrible but that was over a year ago. We were both getting the dip powder on natural nails. I did break two nails before coming so I needed tips on two nails. My friend asked the price before making the appointment and it was $35 for dip on natural nails. We get to the salon and they immediately split us up. They gave me the 30 dip colors they had and I picked two. We should have known from the sample colors it was going to be bad. Most of the sample colors had clumpyness and weird textures on the nail. I told my nail tech I wanted almond and He was making them oval. After he told me it was going to be $48 today I started questioning him. It's really $40 for a dip full set on natural nails. I said okay then he said $5 for two tips. I asked him how much for all my nails to be tipped and it was the same price $5. He then asked if I wanted all my nails done. I said no because i was growing out my natural nails. Then while putting the tips on the two broken ones he cuts my other natural nails way too short. My pinky nail was double the size when I originally came in. I asked for a little trim to match my pointer finger and he shortened all my natural nails significantly. I also had to tip a nail because he clipped it off by accident. I asked what the last $3 were for. He said the almond shape. I told him if I have to pay for shaping make it the correct shape. I told him almond comes to a point not rounded like oval. He then started talking shit to his coworkers and he said I wanted stiletto which is more narrow and looks like a v. I wanted something like a u but with a slight point at the tip. He ended up making them stiletto and short. The shortest nails I've had since I've been getting them done for the past two years. My thumb on the other hand was massive compared to all my other fingers. He filled my skin multiple times and didn't listen when I originally told him I had a broken nail. I had a previous nail tech tell me if I fell burning when they filled my nails down they are filing too much. Almost every finger was burning because he filed them so much. He dipped one of my fingers in the wrong color and we had to redo that one. After we finished he kept asking if I liked them. I absolutely hated them but I was not about to sit at this terrible salon for another hour and a half. I told him I liked the colors. He asked me multiple times if I liked it, after the fifth time I gave up and said no they are too short. He laughed and said that's okay it will grow. He said my nails were thin and I should probably try to regrow them from scratch. I have been doing dip for the past year to regrow my natural nails and this guy destroys all the work I've done and then laughed about it. My friend was also having a terrible time on the other side of the salon. Her nail tech left her multiple times to take care of a pedicure. The lady with the pedicure didn't have an appointment and they immediately took her even though she was in the middle of my friends nails. Her nail tech would get up scrub this lady's feet without gloves then go dip my friends nails. When I was finished I went to check on my friend and her nails looked like bubble nails. They were thick and clumpy. None of them were equal lengths and she was cut multiple times. We also got dip and when I walked up they had the UV light out. I asked why they had it and the nail tech laughed and said I messed up a nail. Instead of fixing the nail with dip she slapped some gel on top. Idk why this lady thought it was funny that she messed up. The place was also dirty! I saw them reuse the same pedicure station for two lady's back to back without cleaning it. They dipped the nails into the jar rather than pouring powder on the nails. They also used the same hot stones on a few customers. This experience ended with my nail tech telling me I would pay $45 and my friend would pay $40. My friend pulled out cash and I pulled out my card. My nail tech takes my card and ran it for both of our services. They advertise that cash is ideal and they don't even take it. My friend asked her nail tech for change for a ten and she grabbed two fives and only gave my friend one back. She honestly deserved nothing. My friend just wanted change she didn't want to tip her. I told her we should go back in and get her tip back since she assumed it was hers. This place is dirty and expensive for the terrible results. They are rude and will hurt your nails. We will NEVER be back. UPDATE: After 2 days my thumb nail cracked and two of my fingers are infected. My friend also has 2 infected fingers. read more

Three stars for service they are very sweet...they try hard one star for the fact that every time I get my shellac done here it doesn't last It chips after 2 days and gets really dis-colored I don't know why. I've been here 3 times now...I don't think I'll be back unless I find a tech who is really detailed and knows what he/she is doing. I'm one of those people who notices everything so I also don't like how they polish my toenails...comes out globby uneven and messy..not smooth. They don't know how to take shellac off either, they don't leave the acetone on your nails long enough to desolve the shellac so they end up scraping and filing the natural nail too thin. read more

Update: Just wanted to let everyone know that I received the bill from the urgent care I had to go to because of THE INFECTION IN MY FINGER. It cost me a pretty penny (over $100) after my insurance. Most expensive and worst manicure ever. I don't get manicures often, and this was the only time I had gotten one in Denver. First, I was not told about the upcharge for the shellac. Second, it wasn't evenly done. I could have painted my nails more evenly. Third, the woman attacked my cuticles so aggressively that I bled and I had an infection in my finger. read more

I used to drive 15 minutes because I was a loyal customer to my favorite nail salon. After they started becoming pushy with upselling their services, I decided to find a new nail salon. It was a late afternoon on Sunday when I started my search. Most I found didn't open on Sundays or were already closed. To my surprise, I found this place on Yelp and saw that they are open until 5:30 pm! When I walked in, all nail techs were occupied with customers. They have an excellent color selection!! I saw a lot of new colors there and they seemed to do a good job keeping up with the display. It was well coordinated by color and brand. I waited a few minutes before I sat down on the massage chair. When I put my feet in the water, it was really cold. I ended up asking them twice for warm water and I think this could've been easily prevented had they decided to check the temperature. I waited a good ten minutes before they started on my mani and pedi. I didn't mind because I was catching up on celebrity gossip magazines. I am sure they weren't fully staffed either since Sunday evenings are slower than usual. My pedi was really great! The nail tech took her time giving me a massage. Mani was done by the owner and he was great. So glad I found a new nail salon within two miles of my home! read more

Maybe it was a bad day for them. I don't know. I went in to get my nails/ toes/ and eyebrows waxed. I regreted it. I got shellac done on my nails, and they had to redo my left hand because they skipped a step. my toes ended up great. But with the redo-ing of my hands, it took an EXTRA 30 minutes. If this alone was the only bad thing that happened, I would have given them 4 stars, as I know mistakes happen. But it wasnt. I made the mistake of getting my eyebrows waxed here. I ALWAYS say- I dont want them THIN, i just want them CLEANED UP. And she seemed to understand what I wanted and said she wouldnt make them thin. As she was ripping off the waxing paper, I knew that I had made a mistake. When I looked at my eyebrows, they were SO THIN and she made them SO uneven. And parts of my eyebrow was MISSING after this. For a month after, I was drawing them in and I HATE the unnatural look that gives. Thank goodness hair grows back. Oh well. My fault for just getting my eyebrows done at a nail salon i suppose. They over charged me and said it was the right price even though there signs said something different. The owner did my nails and she made me bleed twice and she paid no mind to it. Went here for a wax as a walk in and I will say they say me almost immediately on a busy Saturday afternoon. Mimi was quick and did a great job!
