I've been seeing her for years, and she is truly fantastic! She's incredibly talented, thoughtful, and always does such a beautiful job with both my hair and nails. I especially love the way she cuts my bangs. I get so many compliments on them! She's also just a wonderful person to spend time with, and I always leave feeling happy and taken care of. I'm so grateful to have found her and wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair and nails. Highly recommend! read more

Amy is very sweet and have returned for multiple cuts. I keep my hair in a - line and it always comes out balanced and even . She always listens to what I want and double checks throughout the cut . I also enjoy she has her own space and not in the midst of a chaotic salon . read more

This was my first time at this salon with Amy. I have long hair and can never find or trust someone with my hair. Amy did great adding some long layers yet being conservative with cutting my dead ends off. I highly recommend Amy, very personable also. Thanks read more

Much thanks to Amy! She was able to get me in within a couple of hours. I had a botched hair job the day before I flew into town for a wedding, which ended up cutting into my nail appointment. So I showed up with no nails done, hair a mess, and being so frustrated. I was so lucky that she could fix up my hair (listen, uneven bobs are NOT my look) and give me a basic but well done manicure. The fact that she was right there from my hotel made everything super easy! read more

One of the only nail salons that we called and they took in both of us at the same time!! Everyone wore masks and it was not crowded at all. My sis and I came in for pedis and ended up getting gel manis as well for the special deal of $55 for both. Sis had Susan who gave her a killer leg massage and went to town on removing all of her nasty heel buildup - she had to whip out the industrial cheese grater if ya know what I mean ladies. Amy got the light work, helped her pick the perfect color and painted her toes and tended her nails. Teamwork makes the dream work lol. Everyone was very friendly! I had Heather do my toes toes and nails and she did an excellent job - attention to detail. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing toes, nails, or a hair cut. I also wanted to add that my sis reviewed this before reading and we are cracking up in a coffee shop read more

My daughter is not picky nor is he a complainer. However, she had a bad experience at this salon. The salon technician used a Manual file rather than an electric file to remove the gel coating. She scraped so much that her skin was red and scratched. It was painful and is now swollen. The technician continued to file until my daughter pulled her leg and communicated how much it hurt. A different person came and finished off. read more

I went here because I was looking for a new place to get my hair cut and I had a Groupon. To be fair, the haircut was ok -- not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. But I did find it odd that Amy takes phone calls throughout the appointment, including from her sister and other clients, which made it awkward to talk to her about what I wanted. I just seemed pretty unprofessional, and not what I'd ever experienced at other places. I probably won't go back. read more

Amy is fantastic. I have work photo early in the morning and I wanted a shampoo and style. Dropped in last min and she not only took care of me but was super nice and did an amazing job. I know its only a style but I cannot tell you how many salons I have walked out of just to have to re-style my hair. I will be back. Sidenote: I watches a lady getting a pedi and she was already in the chair when I got there and was still getting treatments when I left. Next time I am going all out and getting what she had!! ha ha ha read more

Calling it a salon is a misnomer. It's a hole in the wall nail place. I made the mistake of falling for the 'salon' and buying a Groupon. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes and had to pay an extra $10 for long hair - seriously? Nickel and Dime much? Her little son was all over me with no mask. I had to wait outside as I was scared to contract Covid. read more

I really enjoyed my mani and pedi here. they took their time and I enjoyed the lengthy arm and lower leg massage. The people were very friendly and props to Amy who is very nice and engaging. A great place to get your nails and hair done... enjoy! read more

So I have been to numerous salons in Boulder high end and ridiculous price wise that can not cut curly hair or dye and streak. So scared since I moved from Chicago to go to another UNTIL I found Amy @ Kozy Salon. She has a unique way of cutting curly hair. She twists it and then cuts while twisted the layers. FINALLY I walked out of a salon in Boulder that I will continue to go to from now on. She is as good as it gets! read more

I love going to see Amy and her family at Kozy Salon :) I schedule appointments the day of and it's super easy. Her parents help her run the salon and her son runs around playing with toys -- I love the family feel. Amy chats with me in my crummy Chinese (mixed with English) and makes me feel at home and comfortable. I usually show all my hairdressers a photo, and Amy is great at following what I'm asking for, while also making some final adjustments and touchups at my request after the main cut. She's mentioned having to move to Westminster soon because Boulder is getting too expensive, which is really a shame and I'm hoping she doesn't leave! I'd definitely drive out to have her cut my hair though, for sure. Drop by for a comfortable, friendly, and excellently priced cut! read more

Amy is amazing! I stopped in to switch appt times and she was able to fit me in that evening. She transformed my long dead hair into a cute short bob. I cut off 10+ inches so I was a little nervous at first but knew after the first snip all was in good hands. I left 10inches lighter feeling refreshed happy and with a head of healthy beautiufhair! Thank you so so much!!! :) :) *update* I went to visit Amy to get my nails done this time. What an amazing job! She is such a pro at everything she does. Got a full set of dip color and couldn't be happier! Thank you soooo much for doing such a great job. read more

This salon is Boulder's best kept secret. I have been looking for a good stylist and fell upon this little gem. I called on a Thursday and Amy could see me on Saturday. She colored my roots and gave me partial highlights. I had my hair highlighted 4 months ago and wanted to make sure they were the same color/tone. She hit the mark. While my color processed, she gave me a perfect manicure with gel polish. All three services too 2 hours and at a price I could afford. Her family are kind and adorable. Amy has a customer for life; even if I move from the area, I'll keep coming back read more

I had a terrible experience with Kozy Salon. I purchased a Groupon for myself, and a friend purchased one as well so we could go together. I carefully checked the stipulations on the Groupon, and checked the website as well for any restrictions, and did not find any. I called to schedule an appointment about two weeks out and was told that coupons were not accepted on Fridays and Saturdays. I politely asked what other restrictions were placed on coupons, and was told none. I had to get back with my friend to find a weekday that we could go, and when we finally found a day we could take off work, I called again to schedule, again about two weeks out, and spoke to the same individual who now claimed they only accept coupons between the hours of 10am and 2pm. I explained to the person that these restrictions were not noted on the site (where the coupon was offered as well), nor in the information for the Groupon. She was very rude (this was the same for each call) and did not offer any sort of apology for the inconvenience and did not expound on options when I asked. I ended up e-mailing Groupon about the issue and even though I had purchased over a month ago, they gave me a Groupon credit due to the salon's inability to work with us and because they did not provide this information in the advertising and ordering. read more

Kozy salon does not honor Groupon coupons in three ways: 1. They will not take a party of three or more 2. They will not honor the coupon on a weekend 3. The will only honor the Groupon for a new customer, not a returning customer This is clearly false representation as the terms of the Groupon clearly states none of those restrictions. Because of their complete unwillingness to accommodate the client I would strongly recommend going to another, more reasonably priced salon such as Angel nails, across the street. read more

I found Kozy with a groupon, and I keep going back. Amy is the very best. She remembered what I liked the second time I went there, and even remembered little things, not only the polish I liked, but the conversation we had. I've had a *lot* of gel manicures and the one I had at the Kozy Salon lasts the longest, and I get soo many compliments on it. Her mom gives a killer leg massage for your pedicure, too, She doesn't speak much English, but she has really strong hands and a HUGE smile!! I LOVE KOZY SALON and recommend it highly!!! read more

I have been going to Kozy for 5 years to get my hair highlighted and cut, and I can honestly say I have never had better! (Been coloring my hair since I was 13) Amy is beyond sweet, smart, knows how to do it all and will get it done quick! read more

I went to Kozy Salon on a Groupon for a cut + blow dry, and I'll be back at Kozy Salon without a Groupon in the future. I think that fact speaks for itself! "Engaging" is a word that pops up in reviews a lot to describe Amy, and that adjective is more than fitting. Amy makes you feel comfortable and beautiful -- but in a very genuine way. She's got a warm, appealing personality that makes her fun to interact with! Amy's personality, however, is only icing on the cake as far as her services and skill are concerned. I had an appointment at 10:30, and I walked out at 11:05 with a gorgeous haircut and cleaned-up eyebrows. Before this morning, I hadn't had a haircut in about three years ... so Amy faced quite a daunting challenge! She kept my hair as long as she could (I love having long-ish hair), and when she was done, it looked healthy and thick; I didn't miss the ~3 inches that had to come off! The eyebrow wax wasn't painful at all, and while I was wary at first that no plucking was done afterward to shape the brows, it was clear when I took a closer look that she didn't have to pluck. She had gotten all the unwanted eyebrow hair *and* shaped my brows in one fell swoop. I would say this is a very "back to basics" salon as far as décor. It's scrupulously clean, but doesn't reach for any certain vibe (e.g. luxurious). So: keep that in mind. All in all, I really loved my experience and was impressed with Amy's skill. I'll definitely be back! read more

I recently went to the Kozy Salon for a pedicure. Overall it was a good experience. The quality of the pedicure was a little lower than what I was expecting (The paint chipped within a day of being in there.). However, the staff were wonderful and very nice. They price for two pedicures was $50, which is usually the price of one at another salon. So what I would conclude is that if you'd like a decent pedicure for cheap, this is your place to go. If you're looking for a little higher quality, maybe try somewhere else. read more

I was in town for my sisters wedding and needed a pedicure and eyebrow wax. I found Kozy on yelp and based on the good reviews decided to give it a try. Amy (who owns the salon) works there with her mom and sister. Her mom did the first half of my pedi (soak, scrub, nail trim) and Amy gave me a French pedicure and then waxed my eyebrows. Everyone was super friendly, and you could feel how important it was to Amy that her clients to have a good experience. Love my toes, love my brows. Very satisfied!!!! read more

I got a groupon for a mani and delux pedi. Amy was the main one who worked on my nails, though they kind of switched off here and there, just to keep it flowing, which I thought was pretty effecient. It made it so that I was never sitting there for too long with no one working on me. I really enjoyed all the ladies that worked there, especially this little old lady that can't speak a lick of english! She was so sweet and cute, plus, she really knew how to give a good leg and foot massage! In general, the shop was clean, prices were good, sevice was friendly, and the other patrons that were there were nice and friendly as well. The only thing I wasn't super happy with was in two days my nail color was chipping quite a bit. Wouldn't have bothered me too bad, but I was leaving for Hawaii, so I was a bit frustrated about that. Otherwise, I would go back again, maybe just get gelish next time! read more

Loved coming here. It is literally a cozy salon - it's small and family-owned. My favorite part about pedicures is the calf/foot massage. Here, I got one of the longest massages ever! For the price, I can't believe I got all the features of the most expensive pedicure you can get at other salons. Hot stone, scrub, paraffin wax, and massage... I highly recommend this place. So sad that I finally found a great pedicure place right before I have to move away. I wish I had come here from the moment I moved here. read more

First off, I just moved from Miami and had my go to place every 3 weeks for a gel polish change and paid $24 each time and I was happy to pay that plus tip because it was excellent service and my nails always looked on point AND my manicurist always created a new color every time I went in (and it always looked bomb). I went for the first time to Kozy Salon about a month ago and requested the owner- Amy. WHAT A GOD SEND. She's so knowledgable, treated me so kindly, and we actually carry on conversations unlike other salons where your usual responses are just "uh huh" "haha yeah..." "Oh, really?" Amy knows what's she's doing when I got a gel mani and a reg pedi for Xmas break. My pedicure just started to chip......... It's been over a month. This time I went in for just a gel polish change, and she created such an awesome color with two different colors. I found my heaven. read more

This first time I went here was due to a great deal for a Brazilian Wax on Groupon. I was a little skeptical (I'm used to going to high-end, over priced spa's for such a close encounter service) but was pleasantly surprised. I have since gone back 5 times and refuse to go anywhere else for waxing now. Personally, I like to get in, get out, get going when the hair is being ripped from my nether regions- not stay a while, get comfortable and extend the painful session that is inevitable. Amy is calm cool and collected and makes it no big deal. read more

I am ALWAYS impressed by the quality of work done at Kozy. They are certainly underselling their work. Amy took the time to put in upwards of 25 highlights in my hair to ensure that it looked natural and unforced-- and it certainly does look wonderful. I have also had shallac nails done and a full pedicure-- both were incredible. This family is so sweet, so kind, and very talented. Definitely bring your business here from now on. read more
