I started going to Allure after moving close-by and getting a recommendation from a friend. I'm pretty picky about nail spots because I come from NYC, and I want to make sure it's worth the money. I have gone here for several months now and am delighted! The place is always clean and neat. The technicians are very nice and perfectionists, a good trait in doing nails. For pedicures they give really good, deep massages. For manicures I do the dip nails and it feels really good and I've been pleased with the outcome every time. It was very uncomfortable as the owner was upset I brought my small dog because she had her big dog running loose in the shop. Her son took the dog but she continually discussed how people should call & say they are bringing a dog, how she needs her dog there for emotional support, etc. she had been super friendly the first time I came in. I got my nails done by Lisa. I really appreciated Lisa helping me pick the colors, to get them as close as I wanted them, and made sure I was okay with the color before applying. She took her time and made sure I was liking how they were coming out. I feel like she really captured what was in the inspo photo. 10/10! read more

My fiancée has been here multiple times and on multiple occasions she was offended by one of the owners attitudes AND was CUT by her. By Far, the best nail spot in Lafayette. Everyone is very friendly. I have been coming to this fabulous place for a year now, to do lashes, nails, pedicure and waxing. With that being said, I'm there almost every other week. The owner would rather churn through customers than give the customer a pleasant experience and became spiteful toward a technician with a loyal following and those followers. Let's start with the good: great massage chairs for pedis. Unfortunately that's the only good thing. I came in without an appointment and about 1/2-2/3 of all the chairs were taken. I asked if I should come back - if they were busy. She told me to pick a color. She quickly ushered me to a chair, put my feet in the water, and then left me there for 20-25 minutes. The water got cold, she never offered me anything to drink, and basically ignored me. I was getting ready to leave when she finally came over to start my pedi. She apologized for the wait and did her best to finish quickly. I didn't see appointments getting priority over walk ins, so my impression is that they just don't have a great process for managing clients. I prefer Blooming Nails in the Sprouts shopping center. read more

This place is great! Super spacious and new. It feels like a high end spa inside. They took my girlfriend as a walk-in and Jessi did an incredible job on her nails! She was friendly, quick, was careful to not cause any pain, and was excited about new design ideas for next time. All in all a fantastic experience. Will definitely be coming back here! read more

Jesse did a wonderful job with my nails and toes. I got a full set and I came in with very little clue what I wanted to walk out with. I told her that I trust her and I wanted a nail shape not to short but long enough to have a shape that will elongate my stubby fingers. I love the results. She was so nice and reminded me to relax. She did a great job with toe nails too! I got Gel on my toes for the summer and wearing lots of sandals. My first time visiting - it was Thursday, around 5:30p. No reservation needed. Walked right in. Roxy, my nail tech, was great. She listened as I told her what I like, and as I shared some specifics about my nails, in particular. The only negative was that someone came in to get a brow wax while I was "soaking" which meant that I had to sit for an extra 10-15 minutes. Only a sight inconvenience. She did a great job with my gel manicure. The shop is clean and bright. They have a good selection of colors and pricing was affordable. I think this might be my new nail spot! read more

There is usually a wait time even for scheduled appointments, but Victoria makes up for it by being ultra fast. I will never visit this salon again. I went in because I was gifted a gift certificate. It was a Wednesday morning and I waited almost 20 minutes to get in. The nail tech informed me that they were short staffed. I requested a shellac mani. The nail tech was very nice and we chatted the whole time. However she seemed to be in a huge rush, and even switched with another tech half way through. I didn't get a hand massage or anything. And considering the Mani cost $40, I should have gotten more. It felt more like just a Polish job than a manicure. I ended up getting an eyebrow wax as well. Wanted to save my self a second stop. I don't know if it was the lighting or the fact that I was waxed in a pedicure chair but I left with half my left eyebrow gone (not in a good way). She didn't trim them, even after asking her too. And she did a single, straight strip down the middle. There was no attempt to shape them. I was so ready to get out of there and will not be back. read more

My friend used to come here and get her nails done and she recommended me to ask them for a job because I do nails myself. So when I called to speak with the owner, she was so bitchy. She was talking over me the whole time and was totally rude to me. She told me that her nail salon is the biggest and nicest nail salon in town. She would brag about other things too and it was super annoying. I asked her how many nail techs work for her because I wanted to know what I am expecting, she answered to me " it's none of your businesses ". At one time I thought this was the best place for getting my manicure and pedicures. I was a regular going to the same person every two weeks, AND tipped well!... I thought. Last week I had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. In the middle of my manicure, the nail tech wanted me to give up some of my appointment time so she could service someone else even though I told her it wasn't ok with me. She did her anyway while I sat and waited during my appointment time. Plus she turned the nail dryer on so high to dry my nails faster that it was Burning up my fingertips. Greed will get you in trouble every time. I thought that This was my appointment, & my money out of pocket. No apologies were given and the Techcian sent someone else to collect my money. They did a good job with my pedicure so I figured I would give them a try for a rebase. Worst rebase I've had in a very long time. It was SO rushed. I think it took them all of 25-30 minutes. I wouldn't be upset if they looked good but they don't. The technician didn't even fill them back all the way, there's already a very noticeable gap after just 2 days. She also did a sloppy job with the white tip. No clean lines, it's all jaggedy. She also got nail glue all over 2 nails and didn't bother getting it off, she just put more pink gel over it. She cut my pinky with the nail file as she was rushing to file me. The nails are also much too thick for my liking. I'm not happy and I won't be back. Not even for a pedicure which I did enjoy but their quality with my rebase was so off-putting it's just not worth it. read more

I had a wonderful first experience at Allure. My spa gel pedicure was done so well and felt great too! The salon is also decorated tastefully and beautifully with new, fabulous pedicure massage chairs. They do not carry CND brand Shellac, but their OPI gel collection is great! My only complaint is that the price on the web site for a gel pedicure is $35 and when I came in they said that the web site is wrong and it is $40.
