It's so hard to find a nail tech who can take the time to give you great, quality nails. Every time I step into a nail salon, it really feels like a rush to get clients in and out. I never appreciate that due to my nails never looking the best that they could look. I'm very particular and a perfectionist, so if I'm going to pay for someone to do my nails, I want them to look perfect. I don't want my tip to be crooked or bubbles in my nails. Also, I always find it hard to communicate what I want done with my nail design. It seems as though I would bring in a design and come walking out with a different design or no design at all because they just won't do it. I'm SO happy that I found Grace. I really have been looking for someone who can take the time and effort to make my nails look amazing. I found Grace so peaceful to watch, she takes her time and has such precision with every finger design. Grace listens to everything that you want and even adds in her suggestions when you're feeling indecisive or needing a little reassurance. I love a professional who can give input, because I'm trusting the expert to help me with what would look best. I can go on and on about Grace! She's truly amazing at what she does. I will continue going to her. I'm obsessing over my nails and am looking forward to the other nail designs we will get to do in the future! She's so artistic and talented!! read more

Grace is an amazing nail tech!! I got a full set with gel polish to make them last long! I felt horrible because I was one of those terrible customers that came late to my appointment but Grace was being very grace-ious to me and allowed me to still come in but that did cut into the design time, which was totally fine by me! First off I have not found anyone in the springs that does free form acrylics which i love so much and Grace does fulfill that need!!! She perfectly sculpted my acrylics and helped me choose my colors! She is soooo fun and energetic that it was so awesome just to be around her. I will 100% come back and definitely be on time lol Tip: if you are going to her location, it is the far most right office, it will not say MisfitCreations but you will see the large number going down the middle of the doorway. Grace at Misfit Creations is truly amazing. I've had plenty of nail work done over the years at nice salons and quick walk-in locations, but none have been like the experience I received from Misfit Creations. First off, I have never had a water-less manicure or pedicure before, and now I will never go back. It is by far the most sanitary experience I've ever had, so the fear of picking up something is not even a concern. There are a couple points that need noted...Misfit Creations is willing to travel to you! This has been a blessing for my ma and I, because ma is older and has difficulty walking. Grace came to our house and did our pedicures and manicures right here in the comfort of our home. I cannot express our appreciation for this service enough!!!!! Additionally, Grace is genuinely concerned for the health of our nails. She trimmed ma's thick toe nails and requested that we see a podiatrist to get the 'ok' before she would paint them, because she saw something that needed addressed. The last place we went to, never mentioned anything at all, so we didn't know there was a possibility of a larger problem. It is refreshing to know she is more interested in our health and well being than the mighty dollar. On a similar note, the first time we met Grace, we were at the Thrive Salon for a hair appointment. While waiting for each other's hair to be done, we were able to get in a manicure. As mentioned before, ma has trouble walking, so stairs are out of the question. Grace went above and beyond bringing a portable table downstairs with her tools and took care of ma's hands. It was such a nice surprise. Misfit Creations' customer service is top of the line! Did I mention that Grace also has a meticulous eye for detail? She checks everything she does to ensure the final result is perfect. Grace is an artist in every way and can make anything you request. (My ma is looking to have dragons painted on next visit.) We've had french manicures, solid colors, those with metallic glitter rubbed into the polish, and other sparkles on our nails. She is very creative and is open to make anything you can think of. We (ma and I) recommend Misfit Creations to all who are looking for a change. The one-on-one experience is nice. The hand massage feels amazing! The ability to not leave your house and get your nails done by a professional is truly amazing! (Especially for those who have difficulty getting around.) The prices are very reasonable too. Grace is the most wonderful person! Her work is unparalled and gorgeous. Plus, $35 for a whole set of acrylics from an expert like her is a steal. Sweet little salon, intimate setting, nobody listening in on your conversation. I really enjoyed it. And my nails looked brand new for two weeks. Highly recommended.
