***The man put his hands on me and my car, just read to the bottom please**** My mom and I got acrylic sets and a pedicure. They did mine at the same time so I didn't get to enjoy the pedicure as I was having to twist sideways the whole time. I had on black nail polish which I know isn't the best to get off. So he's doing my nails and he left black all over my fingers, under my nails, on my nails and on my cuticles. So when he was done you could see black through the nude color and it just looked bad. I asked him to take off the black and he wiped it off my fingers but not the nail so I had to ask him for some nail polish remover so I could do it myself and I did. They looked really bad. That and my fingers being glued and ripped from the nails. Just overall he was rude, talked me out of the shape I wanted, jerked my hands around, kept drilling after I flinch etc. I was pretty upset as I was going to have to redo them at home because they were so rushed and careless. Anyway. When it came time to pay I told her I didn't feel comfortable paying full price for something that one looked bad, and two, I was going to have to go home and fix them, anyone would have, and three he was rude to me from the beginning. So I said that and she and the man starts yelling at me from across the salon. Telling me It's my fault for using cheap polish, that my nails were "already dirty" before I got there, and my skin was "dry as fuck" is what he said. Which isn't true, I just came off of a shift from a clinic where I wear gloves and wash my hands hundreds of times lol. So I told them I would pay for everything and tip but I was going to pay for half of the acrylic set. I didn't need the shit talking in front of all kinds of other clients. All three of them just start screaming at me talking shit, I kept trying to pay and they would not stop yelling or take my money. So I put my money on the counter and I started to walk out because we weren't getting anywhere and he was just insulting me. I walked outside to my car with my mom and he runs out and starts YANKING at my door handle and door trying to pry my door open and has nail clippers in his hand trying to cut the acrylic nails off. HE GRABBED MY FINGERS and tried to rip my nails off, I shit you not. I asked them to get away from my car and they wouldn't. He looked evil Im not even joking. He was just hateful hateful badmouthing us. I never got the chance to speak as they were both SCREAMING over me and my mom. The other woman opened my moms door and was standing pretty much in my car demanding the money. It was insane. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was in the area and decided to try this business for the first time. I asked for a shellac pedicure, was not given any "options" as to what type of pedicure. (Most places have different options that include massage, hot stones, exfoliation, paraffin wax, etc.) This place only offers one option which is a very unfriendly, extremely rushed experience. Now that I think about it I'm not even sure that their tools are disinfected. They definitely were not from a new, unopened package. There is dust, random trash, weird spills, etc. everywhere, the chairs are not even clean. I saw this when I arrived and decided to give it a chance anyway thinking maybe at least their service is good. ITS NOT. While my nails were being painted they got white polish on my toes and didn't even clean it off before I left. Worst experience ever. $55 down the drain. I will NEVER come here again! read more

I had 3 people working on my nails in less than 35 minutes. It was so fast for a full acrylic set. I repeatedly asked for them to be gentle because I was sensitive and they just kept pulling on my hands and cutting me. The shop was very dirty. The sink looked like it doesn't get cleaned. There were nail clippings on the floor, people eating while they were doing nails and talking on the phone. They were really rude and rough on me. i always come here for a full set with powder colors, i absolutely love their selection of powder colors and their workers. every single time i've came, i've always been pleased with the results and the guy who always does my nails always makes them absolutely amazing. i only have one complaint about this place and the first is the smell of the place when you walk in. it's a really strong smell of acetone, but i can always deal with the strong scent. other than that this place is absolutely amazing. this time when i came, i went with my younger sister and my dad, and the place was quite full, but they still accepted us and got us all in and we came out pleased. i always do acrylics and get powder color, coffin shaped. i decided i'd do a pastel yellow which is perfect for summer. i highly recommend this place, and it's one of my favorite places to get my nails done. my dad got a manicure with no polish for only $15, and my sister got a gel mani pedi for $55, and my rebase was $30. overall, we payed $100, with $20 tips. read more

They put plexiglass up, but you can see nail dust and splatter marks. I came in early in the morning, so they should've been clean when I arrived. It looks like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. They did not open a new packet of nail tools when I arrived ( I've seen that practice at other salons). -Nail tech was not precise. She left a bump in the gel nails and also was not precise along the edges. I left 2 stars up because my nails do look fine, but the process was not exceptional for the price ($60). read more

Tried this establishment as it was very close to my mom's home. First - when we first walked in there was an overwhelming product odor- there was only 3 individuals getting their nails done. They needed to open the door or get better ventilation. It can't be healthy for the workers. Second - the place is dirty - the walls, the carpet, the pedi-chairs had crumbs on the side tables - make me question the cleanliness of their tools. The blue disinfectant containers where all but empty as well (maybe a 1/2 inch of liquid) Third - my mom's first pedicure and when she asked questions the tech didn't understand english and had to ask someone to come over and translate. Forth - the only positive is that we received a decent standard pedicure. Will go elsewhere as 3 out of 4 is not good. read more

Assuming this is the right place, Holly Nails is now called Nails Concepts. And DAMN, they do a good pedicure. My feet, like most of those in Colorado are suffering from post-winter grossness. Most nail salons just do a cursory scrub with the pumice, which leaves my feet soft momentarily, but nasty again a couple of days later. Not Nails Concepts. The woman doing my pedicure scrubbed so hard that I thought she was trying to start a fire, using my feet as the wood. Seriously, she spent a good 8 minutes on each foot while I tried to calm my ticklishness and not kick her in the face. If you upgrade to the deluxe pedi, you not only get that treatment, but are also introduced to the Callus Buffer which looks like a handmixer on crack, minus the beaters. There's also a paraffin treatment that's lovely. My toes are gorgeous and have cute little designs on the big toe, which just makes me a happy girl. They also provide complimentary bottled water which is a really nice touch. My only complaint was sales pressure to upgrade to a deluxe pedicure and to get a manicure. I don't mind the offer, but it was a little persistent. GO HERE. read more

If I'm paying almost $50 for a full set, I expect you to work on the cuticles and at LEAST use lotion. Didn't file my natural nail down to blend with the acrylic. First visit - Clean, inviting, friendly environment and staff. Great selection of polish, tons of both regular and gel options. Gel mani was pretty quick and cost just $25, I appreciate that because if I'm getting just a gel mani I don't want to spend an hour in the chair. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because they happened to be out of the color I wanted BUT the young guy who did my nails layered two different colors in order to re-create the color to the best of his ability... and he nailed it! Horrible! I've been to many nail salons and this place is by far one of the worst. A man did my shellac manicure with white tips tonight. He tried to rush through the whole service as fast as he could having to take it all off and redo it. The shellac bubbled up and wasn't even. My nail shape is uneven. The white for the tips are bubbled up like a glob. He was rude when I asked him to fix the craters in the gel polish. And then when he was done one of the other nail techs told him not to take people before they close because they were there too late. In the end it took him a total of 1 hr and 45 min. If he would have taken the time and effort to do it right the first time it wouldn't have been so bad. Never going back to this place. Oh and btw, I'm a licensed cosmetologist and there is no way they would still be open if state came in and checked they sanitation duties. State requires all pedicure stations to be running with jets and bleach for 30 min steady. Yeah they wiped it down with barbacide. So much is wrong at that place. Never again. Have been here several times for acrylic nails, they do an amazing job. Length, shape, everything is beautiful. I tried a different salon close to work so I could go on my lunch hour. I went in for a pedicure and shellac manicure. The lady who did my nails only put one coat on and then when I pointed out a clump on my nail she told me my nail was broken. It was not broken and it's bumpy. The shellac chipped after two days and my pedicure chipped after two days as well. I went in to get it fixed and they fixed it which was great but a day later my toes chipped again!! I wouldn't spend the money there again. They also give a discount for writing good reviews so you can't trust what is written. read more

The pedicures are great. The manicures aren't. I wanted a pedicure and read Lisa's review on this place. It sealed the deal so I drove over. They used a cake-mixer-turned-sand-blaster to buff the dead skin off my feet. Dead skin was flying all over the tech's shirt. I wasn't sure whether to gag or laugh, so I ended up laughing so hard I cried. Wow this place was "wild" as my friend Megan said. My feet looked great afterward. As for the manicure, it was messy and not great. Megan had to get hers re-done half way through because the gel wasn't setting properly. Holly Nails is actually Nail Concepts--Apple Maps is outdated (Google Maps is correct). I have been coming here for quite awhile and they do a super job on pedicures and shellac manicures. Their pedicures leave my toes, feet and lower legs looking great for weeks. The polish usually lasts at least two weeks without chipping! The shellac manicures are great too--they are usually good about taking extra time to be sure and "seal" the nail edges so that they last a long time--2-3 weeks as well (and I'm hard on my nails--think home improvement projects). Once in awhile there is a long wait and the quality lacks a bit when it's busy. Despite this, I still think Nail Concepts is one of the best places around. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place on a busy Saturday. Made an appointment at 2:00, wasn't helped till 2:15, and it was the most rushed shellac manicure I've ever gotten. Took maybe 15 mins total. Barely any nail shaping, cut my cuticles twice, 30 second massage, and when i told the nail tech she did two coats on one hand and three on the other, she told me i was wrong, when it was clear she wasn't paying attention at all, bouncing between me and another lady's manicure next to me. My first and last time at this place. A memorably bad experience that drove me to sign up for Yelp!. Poor ventilation - no intake fan next to people doing acrylics - I thought adequate venting of toxic fumes was mandatory but apparently not so that is something I will know to look for in a nail salon in the future. I got sick to my stomach from the fumes. Wait for a chair as posted but we both were left in water to soak for more than 20 mins so it was probably just as well that the regular pedicure consisted of pretty much just nail and cuticle trim and 40 seconds of defoliation so I could get out of there so much quicker than I would have expected for a pedicure. On a positive not neither my friend or I wound up with bleeding cuticles which is a strong plus.
