Went in for a full set trying to give this spot some hope because I saw some of the most recent reviews being negative. Walking in, this place looked beautiful and clean which I was really impressed about. The women in the shop seemed so nice I was hoping I would go with one of them but I got paired with an older man that works there. Right off the bat he seemed to have an attitude and I look younger so I'm not sure if that was also a factor. While I was getting my nails done he hurt me on multiple occasions especially when it came to filing down my finger with the tool. On top of it he would be kind of aggressive telling me how to place my hand and that I shouldn't move. This has been the worst nail salon experience I've ever had and on top of it all I had to pay $65. Three days later I had a nail already pop off. Do not recommend unless you're going with the woman in the shop. read more

All I can say is please please go here. This has been my go to place since I moved here, and they just keep getting better! This is my favorite manicure I've ever had done by far. My nail technician (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) was so meticulous and genuinely took time to make sure that my nails would come out perfect. They got me in on a busy Thursday evening without an appointment and still told me thank you for waiting! I was visiting family and I was in desperate need of a pedi and fill. I was looking through Yelp and saw a person review on a different salon and recommended pretty nails spa. I called just before I went in and they were able to tell me an accurate time so I wouldn't have to wait. Right away, I was seated in a pedicure chair and the place was very clean. I noticed that they offer child pedicure chairs which is good to know. Kim did a wonderful job. She took her time and paid attention to my cuticles and the shape of my nails. (I only like my toe nails square) Lynn did my fill. Let me start off by saying that the nail tech in AZ that had put my set on less than a week ago left my nails chunky, uneven, and ugly. Lynn was quick and she did such a BEAUTIFUL job. I love my nails. They look like a fresh new set. Next time I am in town I will definitely be stopping in. i went here yesterday to get my nails done. The person that was doing my nails, was extremely rough on my nails. he would pull my hand and shove my hand to the side. When he asked what shape i wanted and i had him repeat it he angrily repeated. he seemed irritated and like he didn't want to do my nails at all. he was so rough, he ripped my skin apart. it was bleeding. it has been bright red and hurting since i left the salon at 12:00pm yesterday. There is also still acrylic powder on my fingers that will not come off no matter how much i wash my hand. do not recommend coming here . read more

Fast, friendly and high quality service is how I would best describe my experience. They have a great color selection (both regular and gel polish), as well. They could not have done a worse job on my pedicure. The guy was rushed and left my paint job a mess and when I asked him to fix it he still left it done horribly. Definitely not worth the price. First time coming here and will not be coming back. This is the same day after leaving the salon. My mom and daughter and niece wanted to have a nice day getting our nails done. I don't go to often. They all got great nice ladies! They did a great job and were friendly! I unfortunately got the guy, Michael I believe was his name. He was rude and was seeming irritated as he was doing my pedi/mani. I have been visiting this nail salon for over a year now and would have to say that it stands out from any other place here in Brighton. The place is really clean and staff very friendly. Compared to other nail salons in the area I feel prices are great when compared to service you receive. Pedicures are amazing and they offer a lot of different services. I usually go every two weeks to have my shellac done. Kelly is awesome she is fast but very detailed with her work. I have gotten my nails done by other employees and would say that they all do an amazing job. I have recommended this shop to many people in the area and will continue visiting them as I always leave very happy with the services they perform. read more

I really enjoy coming to this nail salon. The prices are fair and they take their time doing your nails. I've never had to wait too long or at all to get my mani-pedi (but maybe because I come mid-day). They are always very polite, never rude and not pushy. It's kind of a drive but I feel it is worth it and this is my go to place! And now there are more restaurants and shops around Brighton so it isn't too bad to come around this way anymore. Lastly, you can always get ice cream a few shops down and enjoy that while you're getting your pedicure :) read more

If I could give zero stars I WOULD!! The worst customer service ever! They were totally rushed in everything they did, my aunt asked for a simple design and he was mad that it took him an hour when it was two simple gel colors. My 24 dollar pedicure turned into 42 dollars, and it was only 20 minutes. Lynn asked what design i wanted and yeah it was on the fancy side but she told me they were ugly and i said ma'am i would like these ones. She continued to argue with the design so i changed it and told her i didn't like what came out and she kicked me out of the chair for a lady with an appointment after me. Which can i say she was rude for talking crap about me not knowing what i wanted and how irritating i was being.. when i did know what i wanted. read more

I went here three weeks ago with some friends. We had walked in, and was told it would be a 45min wait. We decided to stay. I eventually asked them how much longer would the wait be, she said a few more minutes. It ended up taking almost 2 hours to actually get started on. They were extremely busy, but they should have been more honest about the wait. I was happy in the beginning with the end result, even though my nails were uneven in length and one was put on kinda crooked. They hurried through our nails to get us out of there. My friend picked out a blue color, and her nails actually turned out black. I went to another nail salon today to get a rebase for the full set I received at pretty nails. My full set was literally hanging on by a thread. We had to take them off and completely start over. They were so poorly put on he didn't even have to soak them to remove them. I will never drive 40min again to pretty nails to wait 2 hours for a horrendous job. Looks can be deceiving. read more

Horrible...was way over charged. We were told one price and what was included but then when we paid it was way more, not being a rude person I simply checked out, tipped well as usually and left but they lost a customer. i need a pedi at least every 2 weeks. The pedi itself was nothing great and not a lick of English spoken so left feeling uncoforatable. I was cringing the entire time wondering if the tools used were cleaned. Moving to Brighton a year ago I have yet to find a shop that uses an autoclave!!! Crazy because it was a standard thing in my old shop in Litteton. I want to see the tools freashly opened infornt of me and put in an avuto clave after. read more

I wish I could give this place a negative star score. Worst experience ever!! I specifically asked the woman who waxed my eyebrows to not make them too thin. She said just clean up and I said yes. Half my eyebrow is gone on the left side of my face. When I pointed this out to her she tried to tell me the baby oil made my eyebrow hair stick together and to wash my face and the hair would be back. I washed my face and showed her the hair did not magically come back. She laughed at me and said she didn't even wax in the area where the hair is missing. I am certain the hair did not jump off my face by itself! She wouldn't apologize, she continued to laugh at me. I showed her several pictures of my eyebrows from my phone to let her see the hair that is missing and she said the lighting in all my pictures was off and that is why my eyebrows look the way they do in the pictures. Her boss, or who I assume her boss is kept trying to apologize to me, I said I want her to apologize and she said I'm sorry but I didn't wax that part of your eyebrow. My husband was with me and even said that most of the eyebrow was gone. Again she laughed, freaking laughed at me!! Her boss repeatedly tried to get her to stop talking, stop laughing and she just kept going. Horrible service, horrible technique, horrible business. Will never ever return and will post this everywhere to save someone else from being treated this way. read more

I have been to this salon twice. The first time I had a French manicure (paint only) and it lasted only a few days. Not surprising, and it only cost me $10. The 2nd time, I had gel nails done. The manicurist (Mike?) was extremely rough. He used a nail file (after I had acetone set on my nails) to take off the old gel polish. Then a dremel tool to take off more, and finally a nail sanding block on top of the nail. I was seriously worried if I'd have any nails left to paint. He the took a nail file and filed my nails shorter, which I wanted done, but he was so rough I ended up with the top of my fingers raw in some places. This is the second week for this manicure and my nails are rough on the ends and now my polish is coming off. I am not impressed with this salon at all. The people were somewhat rude and I don't think they do a very good job. I won't go back and I won't recommend this salon for nails. read more
