Absolutely amazing customer service and unbeatable selection and pricing! I am a house flipper so…read moreI've made the rounds at supply stores and Floor and Decor is always our go-to for LVP and Tile. They cannot be beat! This Tacoma location really impressed me with the service they provided. We were asked multiple times while shopping if we needed any assistance and that was nice. We had plenty of space to work on our designs and make a plan as well. We worked with Ryan Mckechnie at the Pro Desk and he went above and beyond for us. He even stayed past the pro desk time to make sure we had the tile we wanted to leave with that day (and have the rest delivered). The guys for loading were gone so Ryan made sure he stayed and loaded it up for us. We were so impressed with his kindness and willingness to serve. This location has earned our business! We also worked with Sona in getting everything in our order ready for Ryan. She was fantastic and very helpful! Thank you so much Ryan! We appreciate you!! PS. There is a wireless charger for phones at the pro desk. That's a fun perk! Oh! And the bathrooms are actually clean!

I can't really express how much I regret the decision to refloor my house using Floor and Decor's…read moreservices. I had gotten a modestly higher quote from a smaller local company and I can't help but wonder how this whole project could have gone. A few things about my house- it is really old and that was going to complicate things no matter what. I suspect the previous owner DIY'ed a bunch of stuff, which also added some challenges. I have taken all of that into account, and this experience was still terrible. A few positives: I am a single homeowner so the financing options that a large company was able to provide really did help. There was no way I could afford this out pocket. The downstairs subfloors needed to be replaced as well, and now that's done. On to the rest. I used the contractor sent by Floor and Decor. This project took over a month to complete. My house is a bit more than 1200 square feet. Delays in manufacturing the stairs was cited as the main culprit, although I was originally quoted one week for that to be done. The flooring overall looks okay with some significant issues. There is a Murphy bed in one of the rooms. This is not a permanent fixture; it's basically Ikea furniture with the standard Ikea wall anchors. I was told that it could be moved, but at installation it was not. It is in a room downstairs, so not only was the flooring installed around it, the subfloor was as well. If that Murphy bed is ever needing to be removed, I will now be left having to deal with a significant hole in the floor several inches lower than the rest of the floor in the room. The stairs were really the worst part. Removing the carpet was super difficult (that whole previous owner DIY issue). It took most of the day to get it up, and removing it damaged the walls in some areas. When the stairs were installed (again, a month later) they were just put in with no finishes, chunks of plaster still missing. It looked absolutely horrible. That install happened while I was at work, so I came home to a total mess and saw the job had been marked as complete. I reached out to the contractor and did not receive a response. I then reached out to the store. The flooring designer had told me to email her with any issues. I sent the email to her attention and did not receive a response. After waiting a few days, I sent it again (it is a general department email) asking for anyone who could assist to respond. Still no answer. I finally looked up the store manager and emailed him directly. No response. All of this took place over the span of 2-3 weeks, I was conscientious of giving them time to respond, and was respectful in all of my communications, both to the store and the contractor. Nearly another month passed before the contractor texted me. I had to press, but he agreed to come plaster the damage. He did that while I was out of town, but my petsitter was able to let him in. She texted me afterwards to ask if anyone would be back, saying it still looked terrible. She was right. At this point I am just too frustrated to keep trying, so I'll have to finish it myself. The other challenge was all the little things they did not tell me they would not do. Caulking the baseboards, repainting, any finishes or touchups were left undone. When I asked along the way, I was told by the installer that they don't do that. It would have been great to know that up front. A fun extra issue: the trim the contractor chose is not wood, but plastic with a sticker on it. It's already damaged. TL;DR, work done was a huge challenge and looks unfinished. Product quality is subpar. The store offered zero support. I don't see myself using this company in the future, or recommending others to do so. I paid over $12k to have to finish the work myself.

We liked how they do the work themselves (instead of hiring others) and have high standards for excellence. When we couldn't afford an add-on for the bid, they decided to surprise us by generously throw it in for us free of charge anyway. They are a couple of good Christian guys who actually care about people, care about their work, and care about reflecting God's love. In the past, we have had challenges with contractors cutting corners on quality, taking way longer than expected and continually raising the price. Working with the Gentry's was the opposite of our past horror stories. They finished when they said they would, they ensured it looked excellent and they were totally honest and upfront about the price. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and recommend anyone else to as well!

The amount of room and functionality gained has been unbelieveable. Aaron came out and measured everything giving us his expert opinion on what would work best for our space. The installation was done quickly by Aaron and Kevin and after 6 months I'm more in love with my shelves than when they were installed. I even convinced my 75 year old mother (who is very hard to please) to work with Gentry and even she has wonderful things to say about the job they did.

Miniso is probably the store version of the Japanese word "kawaii", which basically translates to…read more"cute". It is similar to Daiso imo, but it has much more of a focus on cute things and brand collabs like Barbie, Pokemon, and Snoopy. Whereas Daiso is more like a general store featuring more basic things that fall under $2.50. [Quality/Costs]-- most of the items seem to be under $10. The lunchbox I got is not only sturdy, but it has a lot of perks for something that is only $9.90. [Variety]--they have lots of different items such as body sprays and perfumes, makeup, nail care, household supplies like house shoes and toothbrushes, tumblers, water bottles, small purses and wallets, and etc that are generally along the cutesy theme. [Location]--it's inside the Tacoma Mall. The store is super bright and it was fairly clean for how many people were jammed in there. [Service]--the employees were fine. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad either.

Hi-Chews can be found here and anymore it at least it feels like they can be found anywhere but these candies which I effectively have my fondness directed towards instead of Starburst also have Gummi versions of their candy. Now those you don't see as much of. But probably an even bigger draw is the Hello Kitty marshmallows which has a gel filled center. I didn't think I found anything more addictive than Hi-Chews but these definitely take the top spot. You can get Green Tea, Chocolate, Strawberry and I believe Mango flavors. I really liked the Strawberry and Green Tea jelly ones. If I am not careful and my sense of moderation is weak I can finish a package of these marshmallows much faster than a Hi-Chew bag and that too is a pig out experience as well. Anyway I do like the candy selection here and it's conveniently located in the Tacoma Mall.
