I really was excited to go into the place to actually see items I've researched online on BUILD.com (which is a GREAT site !! ). I was very disappointed and mad that there wasn't any attention to my questions and inquiries about the certain products I've picked and they kept directing me to other products that were either, wrong finish, and wasn't offered in my finish, wrong type of product (I require ADA compatibility)..... and so on. I realize they can't carry EVERYTHING in stock , but at least HELP w/ products that are compatible w/ what I've chosen..... and fake it ..... show you care ( ? ). We are paying for your salary, and or commissions. If you like what's available on BUILD.com ...... I recommend doing your research on additional sites, then if you really need to feel it up close..... call local hardware store. Seems like these reps just want to collect a paycheck and not help out unless your a fancy designer spending for a client, and not $50 + for a shower head. read more

We purchased a laundry sink from Ferguson's and it was a stainless steel and it started to rust. They replaced the first sink but when it happened the second time with the second sink, same brand, they would not replace it. We stopped in to order a built in wine refrigerator to replace our 14 yo one that died recently. Found just what we were looking for; it was expensive, but we decided to do it to maintain the value of our home among other things. Paid the full cost up front expecting it to ship before the end of the year. Our salesman handed us off to another employee who emails me that expected delivery time is now April. I go on their sister site build.com which states that they have 20 in stock which can ship from the warehouse to my home in 2-6 days! Anyhow this chick does not respond to my email and I've now been on hold on the phone for 10" and counting, with no indication of wait time, and no offer to give me a call back. I CANNOT recommend doing business with them. read more

When we first entered Ferguson, we had an excellent experience with Lisa and Victoria. They answered our questions well, but we had to go home and measure before making our final purchase. We returned a few days later to make our purchases. We made our intentions very clear from the onset. Since everyone works on commission, we wanted to buy the Toto Toilet and Bidet from Lisa and the Bath Tub from Victoria. We were told that Victoria was busy with another customer, and we said we would wait. Lisa was phenomenal and occupied our time over the next hour and then some time. When we saw that Victoria's Clients had left, we tried to buy the bathtub, but she had entered the meeting. They said the meeting would take little time. Why could we not buy from someone on her team? After about 15 minutes, we decided to go to lunch, which was short-lived. We returned to the store, but Victoria was still in a meeting, but we were told we could call in the order. We drove back to Gig Harbor, and I waited for a while. I was placed on a 15-minute hold when I called, only to find out she was still in the meeting. I then left a detailed voicemail, and she called me right back. She apologized for the delay. She told me none were in stock, but this should be a nonissue. She said she would call me back on Tuesday for an update ( my phone call was placed on Thursday). I did not receive a phone call on Tuesday, so I waited till Thursday. Victoria was not available, so I left a message. Now it's Friday, and I called, but again she was unavailable. I aired my frustration with an employee, and they finally gave me someone to answer my question. One would expect that after spending 6k at your store, I would have had better service. read more

This showroom is top of the line. Super clean and well set up with an assortment of bathtubs and kitchen options. However, as a company, this place needs major improvement. We went in to Ferguson's to get ideas for a double bathroom remodel and were fortunate enough to meet Nicole who turned out to be a great resource for information, ideas and her customer service skills are top notch. She helped us select the right fixtures for both bathrooms and sent us a quote. There was absolutely no high pressure selling and we felt really comfortable with her. I had the best experience at Ferguson and I would like to give a big thank you to Aidan Goins for it all!! I had been looking for a kitchen faucet and pot filler for months without success. I stumbled upon Ferguson and decided to take a look. I am so happy I did. Their showroom is absolutely beautiful and the customer service I received from Aidan was spectacular. Aside from being very knowledgeable and funny, He is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Ferguson is lucky to have him on their team. I have been working with Christine Osorio for a few months now on three bathroom total redo projects. I needed absolutely everything from dimmer switches to vanities to mirrors to faucets to....well, everything..., and Christine set up a projects page so we both could keep track of what we thought I might order. Christine was always available, both by appointment and when I happened to stop by, and was always willing to show me everything available in my price range on both build.com and what was available in the showroom--full marks for patience!!!. At times, fixtures I was interested in were not visible/available through the build.com website, but Christine was then more than happy to order them from a different source, which was very helpful. All e-mails and voicemail messages were responded to very promptly, and I never had trouble getting through to Christine by phone through the central switchboard. As important as anything to me was Christine's ability to coordinate shipping, delivery times (much was delivered on pallets which required signatures), and when an item happened to arrive damaged, they handled the return by working directly with the rep or even the manufacturer. I very much value the full service shop in Tacoma and Christine -- without them I'd not have been able to manage this large remodel project. read more

They have high quality stuff but that's it. We made a purchase that turned into a nightmare because the sales guy misinformed us, then he didn't bother to follow through his promises. As another reviewer mentioned, calls or emails don't get returned and you have to keep going back to the store if you want answers. When I complained to their customer care team, the salesman called me finally, and told me that his email didn't go through and we were playing phone tags. As far as I know, playing phone tags means that you actually call someone back. After a month of hassle we ended up canceling our order and ask for a refund. We yet to get a call from a manager, which was another promise they didn't keep. First time shopping at this place and it will be our last. read more
