The BEST place to get all your flooring needs! I am working on a large house flip project with my sister and the employees here are fantastic! Everyone goes the extra mile! The selection and pricing is great! The bathrooms are clean (ladies you know this is important). There is one motorized cart which is great for cruising around if you have back/knee issues. We want to give a shout out to Michelle and Brenda! Both are super friendly and patient with us as we pushed the store closing time more than once. Lol Larry was our point man and he got our project cart started for us and answered any questions we had and made great recommendations too. German was there anytime we asked for something. Great experience at Bremerton store but had to drive to Tukwila to pick up. That's ok. However took 45 minutes to get loaded up at store and when we got home found several boxes had been damaged by the straps. As well as a few boxes with pallet jack prints across them. From the moment we walked in (Weds afternoon) there were employees standing around talking to each other and ignoring customers. I paid for my flooring and also paid $250 delivery fee for Friday. Friday afternoon i was contacted by phone to let me know they couldn't make it Friday. It's Monday and no call informing me of a delivery time only to find out it was moved to Tuesday minus a phone call from anyone at Floor & Decor. There are some serious customer service issues here and I recommend pricing flooring elsewhere. My experience was one of flakey and unprofessional employees that can't seem to get it right. For $250 delivery fee, I suggest customers not rely on the unreliability of this place. I have a contractor lined up to install the flooring and this negatively impacted the project schedule. Time is money and the employees here could give a crap. read more

I initially had a good experience; however, recently it wasn't so good. I spent thousands of dollars on porcelain flooring and spent thousands of dollars paying for install. The grout that was recommended to use has badly crumbled and this is throughout my whole entire house that I have got the work put in throughout the entire house. The crumbling starts by the next day or a couple of days later. It was put on by two different companies. Both had issues with that bag. Literally always only ONE employee at the register, and never any anywhere else. They are never helpful or friendly. They won't let you return any tile if the plastic packaging isn't in tact, which is super thin and very easily comes off. I have never had a good experience here (been at least 6 times). read more

I feel like this is my second home at this point, and I have a lot to say about the service I get at the Tukwila store - the word CONSISTENCY comes to mind very quickly. I had the pleasure of working with Jaszzmine (a designer) on my project and she was super helpful in pulling the looks together for my projects. Every time I walk into the store I am cordially greeted.- which is super pleasant. When I make purchases, young men and women are very helpful in offering to load my vehicle. The team seems to have good relationships with one another - somewhat playful and kindhearted - as a frequent visitor of the store it was easy for me to observe that. I love how the young staff knows all about the products they sell - you won't find anyone who's not aware or careless about the products they are selling. I had a great experience with Tom today. My flooring guy went it and set everything up for me and Told me to ask for Tom when I came in later that evening. I came in asked for Tom and he was extremely helpful and explained the ordering process and how much everything would weigh so that I was prepared for what was coming to my home. This is a great store to visit when you have a tile project. They have a fantastic selection of tile and it may take you an hour to browse through all the different styles and colors. I recently visited the store for some wall tile and was disappointed they didn't have my color in stock. Two employees later, Craig and a lady whose name I didn't get, had me loaded up with another tile and all the materials to go along with. I then drove to the loading dock and waited..and waited. Wish they had been more organized in that department, since the wait was long, but overall, this store is worth the drive. You might get lucky and get to work with someone like Michelle who's remarkable at her job. But, you might get extremely unlucky and get paired with someone god awful like Cassandra. God she's bad! Extremely uninterested and lazy, callous suggestions. Kept acting like I was a bother to her. Gave me a run down of some lackadaisical ideas, none of which made any sense. I really don't think she's any good at her job. I actually lost interest in my bathroom remodeling. But luckily I met Michelle at a friends suggestion and she was able to help me put together a great bathroom design. Horrible customer service... Meaning, no customer service at all. I ordered some flooring with ample time for it to arrive (their website indicates 2 weeks max), And a few days before my project begins I get an email saying there's a delay. And from the strange message it seems the problem is not that they don't have stock, they don't have anyone to pull it off the shelves? Okay fine I get it... But if someone could answer the damn phone when I call that would be nice. I have tried a dozen times, tried all options on the phone tree and I cannot get through. I'm traveling 6 hours, taking time off work, have a contractor, have dog sitters... I've made a lot of arrangements to start this project on a specific time frame (oh and my awesome renter was kind enough to vacate for a few days)... I'm a pretty patient person, if I could just get a human to say "hey we're sorry we're a little behind!" I would understand. I will never shop here again, and I am going to see about getting flooring elsewhere ASAP!! Support small businesses when you can!! UPDATE: okay, after writing this scathing review I called one more time and somebody answered! And they were super friendly and helpful... So I felt like I needed to add that here. But the lack of communication did cause me some stress, so I hope Mr. Manager you read this and do better about keeping your customers updated or at least answering the phone regularly! **Non existing phone or any other form of customer support, don't even think of using the delivery option from the store, you will end up driving there to talk to someone as they invariably make some mistake that needs to be corrected.** The store is well stocked and good, but the associates both in store and oncall support are really bad. I have ordered for in home delivery and clearly asked the store associate to get it delivered in home, but they still marked it as curb side delivery. The chat option in the website is useless, doesn't connect, email support takes days to respond. When I call their in store or call center, they just put you on indefinite hold and it goes back to a different associate who will do the same again. The delivery guy refused to deliver in home even after some how managing to talk to someone in the store and paying the extra money needed for in home delivery. Delivery experience is totally horrible. It might be a good option if you want to go there and purchase something in stock to pickup yourself. Otherwise I recommend staying away from them. read more

The level of unhelpfulness from this store is so crazy. When my husband and I went to choose some tile this past Friday, we found two options that we wanted to place in sort of a checkered pattern. When we placed two 24x24 options that we really liked next to each other, they were different sizes, off by about an inch. We figured this could just be a flaw in the floor/display models, but when we asked an associate about it, he said, "better get your tape measure out, I have no idea." Obviously, we didn't bring a tape measure. We proceeded to make a large order of laminate and underlayment to be delivered yesterday. The delivery fee was $174.00. We were told we would receive a call the morning of delivery, but we never heard from them. I've called literally twelve times at different times of day (within open hours) to the store and no answer, not once. There's also no voicemail system, so the phone just rings and rings. I understand that sometimes delays happen, but have the courtesy to call and say, "Your delivery will be late and is rescheduled to ..." We live about an hour away, but it looks like we will have to go check on things. Considering our total investment, it's totally unacceptable and I seriously doubt we'll be shopping here again. read more

Long wait at the checkout line with staff ignoring customers and the lineup instead of calling for help from the back. I witnessed a customer got yelled at just because the cashier was frustrated that she had to reopen the cash register as the other checkout line was taking too long on a return. Other than a good selection of products, the service level at this store needs to be addressed. Store should have a separate service desk to deal with returns since the items that people are returning can be tedious. A tile here and there from an opened box with no barcode can take longer for the return. I don't know how many times I've waited long to pay while seeing the cashier struggled with the return. read more

The staff was great, and Mike, Craig and Ken were all attentive and helpful, and friendly. -Mike made sure I got the help in the section I needed, and checked up later! -Craig took the time to explain the flooring I was thinking about and also looking at, and answer questions. I had been thinking of inexpensive vinyl roll type stuff, but learned more about vinyl plank flooring. Thanks! -Ken helped me more the next day, showed me a couple other similar choices, figured out the amount of boxes needed for the project, and helped me choose, because I couldn't decide between a couple. Thx, Ken! I like that I received great assistance, even if I was purchasing the lower end in price of materials and quantity. I like that they have walkie talkies to radio for a person to meet you in the section you need. - Other staff also helped walkie talkie for help for me as well.
