TJ was super professional and courteous and helped me on this huge investment for my home! Slovak was my installer and he was top notch attention to detail very professional and courteous and did a fantastic job installing the floor. The floor is super tight as in no squeaking when I walk on it as it's a floating floor. They helped me to avoid repainting my walls by suggesting using 1/4 inch plywood to help raise floors so when he reinstalled baseboards they were high enough to avoid full paint. I just had to do some touch-up in a couple areas. Super happy with the job they did! The other owner had us deal with just him for remaining work. Closet doors they needed to sand down after new floor was installed were left unstained and patch work and painting that they had to do to repair some of the damage they incurred during construction was done in haste and sloppy.

While we understand that we had a smaller scope of work, we expected much better. Quality: they're are many defects that I am still discovering with workmanship on this project, and we are currently still waiting for crown molding trim to be completed for the upper cabinets (this project began in January). Professionalism: Attention to details in the planning process seemed to have been heavily ignored. The wrong laminate was installed on the kitchen countertop, and it took nearly two weeks to remedy the situation (see photos below). Scott (the quasi project manager) seemed to have a very apathetic attitude toward the situation when we made attempts to reach him after discovering the issues. Timeliness: While I fully understand how delays often occur in construction supply chains, KDC's contractors seem to believe that adhering to a schedule is optional, rather than mandatory. We were originally told that work would begin in late December, however demolition didn't actually begin until early February. With that, we were also given roughly a 2 week timeline for completion of the project. It took roughly until the beginning of March to have a functional kitchen again. With the understanding that we had a more limited scope of work compared to a full kitchen remodel, KDC seemed to value us as lower priority. Ultimately, I would strongly advise finding a different company to work with, perhaps somebody who has better oversight of their contractors/sub-contractors

They glide out and are easy to load. High-quality materials and work. I saw them at the Tacoma Home Show and had been talking with them over a two-year period. When I was ready to move ahead on the project, Aaron came out to see the site and submitted the proposal. Before starting work, he returned to verify measurements and the layout. When the cabinet was ready, he and Kevin came out and did the installation. They also took the cabinet that was there and moved it downstairs and repaired two of the doors, so it is now useable. I had forgotten that I was supposed to order the hardware to match what we already had. Aaron took photos and placed the order and returned and installed the hardware when it arrived.
