My mom set up an appointment with this company but I've been getting nasty threats from people…read moreonline about harming me and just needed time to process and heal. The appointment was for Friday she canceled on Wednesday so when someone showed up to my door I didn't know who it was, or if it was someone involved with the online thraets I knew the meeting was canceled so asked them nicely to leave. The did not, I ask less nice, they do not leave, then I yell at them to leave and shut the door. Through the peep hole I can see him smile then start making a phone call creeping closer to the door I see him get close and open the door and yell for him to leave and he gets in my face refusing so I push him away. It knocks him down to the floor he stands up enraged and starts ripping at my arm dislocating my shoulder from all his rage. I think this person is going to unalive me I tell them they dislocated my arm and they smile, get close to me, and say they can do so much more to me. With a dislocated arm I was ready to defend my life and property. People are starting to hear and notice and he takes his stuff and leaves. I go to the hospital and he yells at my mom that I pushed him doesn't seem at all concerned that my shoulder was in bad shape and the owner too. Turns out the owner wanted to have a 3-4 day long birthday party and never even told this person the meeting was canceled this is the owners fault. Had the owner any respect for her clients, employees, or business this would not have happened the moment I shut the door and asked him to leave that was the appropriate time to leave. If someone is asking you to leave and you don't have business there the professional thing to do is leave. But him just refusing to leave then dislocating my shoulder because he got in my face about asking him to leave, well thank god there is a legal system that will hold scum like this accountable for the injury caused by this business owners negligence. I'm going to make sure this business owner pays for this. Were I in her shoes if one of my staff dislocated a clients shoulder because they wouldn't leave I'd go to the ER and bring flowers and apologize this person should have just taken her job seriously. We canceled Wednesday and we're going to call in a week or two, but because of your negligence you really think I'd want to work with someone who dislocated my shoulder? No. This was so bad and it's all because you cared more about celebrating your birthday for multiple days than letting your employee know it was canceled you are just worst type of person, lazy and negligent I would not expect your craft to be anything but lazy and negligent based on this interaction. My sincere advice, just apologize and retire. This was a big mess up on your part. Think of it this way, if I showed up to your house and refused to leave you would shoot me or call the police. And you would be within your legal right to either shoot me dead or have me locked up for trespassing. Your employee should be in jail for what he did.

This is an overdue review, but i wanted to wait at least 6 months to write out a full review!…read more It was my first time renovating anything. I wanted to redo the inside of my entire house (yes, EVERY inch) and didn't know who to work with. I was given quotes that were 3-4x my budget and had a contractor pull out of the project 2 weeks before my scheduled demolition. I got super discouraged until i found Frame Build & Design. They were able to work with what I had and made my experience very enjoyable. They provided me a rendering of what the inside of my house would theoretically look like, and I can confidently say that it looks pretty darn close to the pictures! I'm so pleased with how all my cabinets & fixtures turned out. I appreciate Idan for answering all my questions and dealing with my complaints. He was patient with me and would send a guy over to fix or add things that I wanted (like outlets on the ceiling for my speakers, patching holes, etc). He went above and beyond to get permits for renovating, be there for city inspections, and keeping me posted on progress. I will say however that if you are planning to hire this team, you will need to be hands on. This means being involved in EVERY decision! I had to pick out all my materials on my own to match the rendering provided in the beginning. FB&D provided some locations I could check out, but it required a lot of research on my end. It felt overwhelming as a first time home owner, but this is pretty normal from what I understand. FB&D had an interior designer on this project and she was a HUGE help in decision making. There's no perfect contractor. Yes there were some communication issues and yes there were some imperfections. Yes it took 2x my timeline. What renovation doesn't? But ultimately the FB&D team were very accommodating with my feedback and gave me my DREAM home. And I can say 7 months into living here, everything is still holding up great and nothing has broken! I highly recommend hiring them for your next project! They did a great job. I ultimately went over budget but that's totally expected (and totally on me)! Thank you Frame Build & Design!

They completely transformed three full bathrooms for us, and the final results are absolutely amazing. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in the finished product exceeded our expectations (one of the best tile teams!), and walking into our newly renovated spaces brings us so much joy every day. While a beautiful finished product is important, the most critical part of hiring a general contractor is finding someone you can truly trust. Throughout the entire project, Dani & Sabina proved to be a reliable and deeply professional partner. Remodeling projects inherently come with unexpected hurdles, but it is how a contractor handles those challenges that truly sets them apart. Whenever a problem arose, Dani and his team never once balked at finding a resolution. TLDR: Proceed with extreme caution. Offered us free work for positive reviews. The lack of…read moreoversight, accountability, and professionalism turned what should have been a straightforward renovation into a drawn-out, stressful ordeal. We recently completed an extensive renovation with D2A, including whole-home interior paint, full kitchen remodel, whole-home flooring, fireplace renovation, and upgraded electrical panel. We were promised an October 2025 completion, but the work did not finish until the end of April 2026. What could have been an exciting home project became prolonged, exhausting, and unnecessarily difficult. Dani/D2A operates far more as a sales-focused or front-facing contact than a contractor capable of actively managing a complex remodel. Once the contract was signed, the level of involvement and management dropped significantly. There was no meaningful oversight, no proactive quality control, and no walkthrough or presentation of completed areas or phases of work. We were left to give specific direction to workers directly and had to inspect everything ourselves at every stage, repeatedly reporting problems that should have been caught internally. The volume and severity of issues were unacceptable. Our stairs were initially installed with finishing nails sticking up and severely uneven steps that required a full redo; even after the redo, we were left with creaking steps that we accepted. Cabinet paint and installation required extensive correction, causing months of delays where we had no handles on our cabinets. The backsplash was installed incorrectly and had to be completely redone. Flooring was installed below standard over uneven foundation, with no mention of an option, added cost or not, to properly address it until after all work was completed. Correcting it then would have extended the construction-site state of our home for additional weeks, so we chose to cut our losses rather than endure another round of disruption. These were not minor punch-list items. They were obvious, avoidable mistakes reflecting a lack of basic craftsmanship, attention to detail, communication processes, and oversight. Instead of addressing these issues professionally, Dani was frequently defensive and dismissive, minimizing legitimate concerns rather than taking ownership. While all issues caused by his team's work except the uneven flooring were eventually corrected at no added monetary cost, this came only after weeks of debate and deflection. The eventual solution was asking us to take time off work to be present for all work done for weeks, despite our clear, detailed documentation of what needed to be done. Often, after we spent hours preparing a documented plan and providing it to D2A, workers would arrive and tell us they had never received the information, then look to us for direction. Our oversight got the job done, but it required costly time off from work and reduced the value of paying for a general contractor's expertise. As a married couple, we also experienced a clear and troubling difference in communication: when wife asked questions, responses were often belittling or disrespectful, while the same questions from husband were met with a noticeably more professional tone. The project extended roughly six additional months, and the repeated delays and rework resulted in real, out-of-pocket costs for our family. We had to stay in Airbnbs with our young child because the home was not safe to occupy during some stages of the extra construction. This disruption was avoidable and resulted from poor management and repeated mistakes. Perhaps most concerning, during the final sign-off, when the cost to correct the uneven foundation under the flooring was discussed, Dani offered to cover that work in exchange for both husband and wife leaving a positive review. Since online reviews played a role in our decision to hire D2A, this raises serious concerns about the integrity of their reputation. Proceed with extreme caution.
