We have a very tiny and hideously butt ugly ensuite bathroom. The house was built in 1960, the bathroom was probably remodeled by the previous owners in the early 70s. Again, it's tiny, hideous, and hairy butt ugly. Elite Kitchen and Bath gutted and re-did everything...new floors, new shower, new lights, walls, absolutely everything. It looks spectacular! They have a showroom in Irvine where you can go and look at hundreds of samples of tile, which I really liked, as opposed to people that bring a few samples to your home. Be prepared for the work to take longer than you expect. I think all contractors over-schedule their jobs so there's times that no one is at your house for three or four days and you're wondering will it ever get done. Be patient. We've been contemplating renovating both master and guest bathrooms for a very long time. We wanted to start immediately (at the end of February) and we had two different designs in mind: one for the master bathroom (my design) and one for the guest bathroom (my girlfriend's design). We wanted everything gutted and to start from scratch, but we were not sure as of who'd be doing the work. And we lucked out when we found Pete at Elite Kitchen & Bath. Pete has a lot of experience, is very personable, very fair, reliable, and an excellent communicator/project manager. He guided us through every decision, and organized/scheduled his employees to have the most efficient process possible, and to execute in a timely manner. The showroom has a wealth of options when it comes to hardware, tiles, furniture, etc, but if your heart is set on a specific item sold elsewhere, you buy it and they'll install it for you! Each bathroom took about a month, with a week in between (a total of 9 weeks), which is exactly what we agreed upon, and the quality of work is incredible. From the person in charge of demolition, to tiling, to plumbing/electricity, to painting, to installing furniture and accessories, we have nothing but praises for their professionalism and proficiency. I would suggest to customers to read the low reviews, because that is most likely true. We had a horrible experience with the owner's brother in-law Rafi . What would you accomplish in a day if you only send 1 worker? When we signed the contract he told us at least 2-3 worker to work everyday. Guess what?!? there are more days that nobody showed up than days they worked every week. It took them a year to work on kitchen and 2 baths. And to top it , if he make a mistake in measurements , he will not own up to his mistakes and still insist. Well , that will not work for me. After much research and consideration I decided to go with Elite Kitchen and Bath for my Kitchen remodel. I had a tight timeline for getting my kitchen remodeled before moving in. A few of my coworkers at Amazon had worked with Romel and Rafi on a number of remodels so I had confidence that I was making the right decision. I'm very happy with my decision. The project took less than 3 weeks to compete and transformed my kitchen from an old dated look to a modern design. My remodel included new soft close cabinets, Quartz counters, backsplash and LED lights. I also replaced my microwave with a range hood. Not only was the project completed on time but it was completed on budget with no surprises. These guys are pros. I also appreciated the care and detail. During the appliance installation process Romel called me to inform me the garbage disposal was older and could cause problems. He recommended a few options and even had one of his guys drive to Home Depot to pick up a new garbage disposal that I had selected. i wish i could give negative a billion stars!! Romel Kfoury DESTROYED my home. I singed a contract with him for an entire home renovation (top to bottom). He assured me he had guys for everything and I put my trust into him. He ended up completely butchering my home after paying him over $400,000. Left open gas lines and plumbing in my walls and covered them up (i had gas leaking through out of home and water pouring through my walls). I had to rip out any drywall he put up because of how poor the workmanship was. All of my brand new windows were ruined that he "installed". Every single one was shaking and leaking water. Romel, his wife and his brother (who does kitchens - Elite Cabinets) all stole over $150,000 in material from me. His brother took my entire kitchen, his wife took all my appliances, and romel stole my counter slabs for my kitchen, my hvac system, and so much more after i paid in full for everything. Romel ended up costing me over a million dollars between damages and material stolen!!!! This man should be behind bars - he is a CON ARTIST CROOK AND ITS A FAMILY AFFAIR!!! I'm chuckling about the 1-star review saying the person behind the glass in the showroom wasn't interested enough -- that's exactly what drew my husband and I in! We had probably five contractors come out and bid on our master bathroom -- a total passion project I'd been waiting 8 years to do -- and were totally done with insane bids from pushy salespeople who just wouldn't shut up. We drove by the showroom looking for ideas and found Rafi's chill approach so refreshing that we asked them to come out and give us a bid. Elite gave us a one-stop shop that allowed us to pick materials, design our bathroom, and get a price all in one shot, making the process much easier than any of the other people we'd spoken to made it out to be. It took longer to start the job than I wanted it to, and took longer to complete than expected. That being said, everyone who came to work in our home was really nice -- particularly our PM Pete, who was just fantastic -- we didn't pay one penny over what we had agreed (zero change orders!), and most importantly, the finished product is completely beyond. I was nine months pregnant and I initially entrusted my flooring to an independent contractor who showed up late, without tools, and potentially exposed myself and my unborn child to COVID. I was mortified- what could I do with my due date rapidly approaching in a matter of days and a floor that was now in splinters?!? And the price was lower than going through the incompetent contractor Home Depot tried to set me up with. Rafi helped us design everything and gave us different options to choose from. We had been wanting to remodel the master bathroom for many years and finally did it! After researching and getting bids from several other contractors, we met with Pete at Elite Kitchen and Bath, and decided right away this was a great fit for us. They weren't the cheapest, nor the most expensive. But we felt right at ease with Pete and knew that we would be in great hands. We totally gutted the bathroom and removed a small wall that partitioned into the bedroom in order to install a double sink vanity as we have lived with one sink for the last 30 years and always dreamed of one with a double sink, but didn't have much room. The 30 year old fiberglass shower was replaced with tile, added a linen cupboard, replaced tile floors, added crown molding, and much more to our tiny space. I contacted numerous contractors for their input and price quotes regarding gutting a small backyard and building an entertainment area/outdoor kitchen. Rafi/Pete came in about $10,000 less than the others. Rafi sat down with me for about 1.5 hours and went over the design. Throughout the project, there were some hic ups, however, I believe they would have came up regardless of who the contractor was. Pete and Rafi were both patient with me and always returned my phone calls with any concerns. The most important thing to me was the final outcome. The crew at Elite Kitchen did an amazing job and my backyard looks like a bar in Vegas, with the granite countertops, tiled flooring, stacked stone, modified roofing, placement of the bbq and sink, etc. I would give 5 stars if the project didn't take 3 months longer than planned to complete. But like I said, due to COVID/weather/etc., the delay could have happened with any other contractor. Lastly, at the end of the day, the final outcome of the project was the most important factor for me and in that regard, Elite Kitchen knocked it out of the park! After I had a contractor abandon my project I had to hire a new contractor to finish the waterproofing, tile & counter tops. I contacted Rafi at Elite Kitchen & Bath and explained what I wanted and needed done, he gave me a list of references that had similar work done. All of the references had positive things to say about Elite. I received a formal quote the at was competitive for what I needed done. I had the Schluter waterproofing system installed. After passing inspection the tile was installed. All work was done in a clean and timely manner. If I told you a major interior remodeling project was undertaken during peak supply chain and labor shortage crisis of spring - summer 2021 -- that involved splitting an existing bathroom into two new ones, complete tear down and remodeling of the kitchen, new appliances, new paint, new flooring, new doors, etc for a 4k+ sqft home -- and still completed on time -- and on budget -- you would think its a fairy tale We thought we were crazy to embark upon this project too -- but Rafi and his team delivered and in a big way -- we were working under a hard deadline where we had to move by a certain date, and high chance that had we picked anyone other than Elite - we would have missed it As to the budget - we did compare it to picking individual contractors that may have been modestly cheaper -- and to be frank, it was not that much more expensive and quite reasonable. And the peace of mind that came with having a single point of contact -- Rafi -- who actually has a design background himself and has very good taste (you will save $$ on that aspect too) was invaluable -- as we discovered later I am not going to embellish and say there were no mistakes - in a project this size, of-course there are and we had our fair share -- but the speed with which they were acknowledged and fixed was remarkable. and this is a KEY attribute to look for -- as in the past I have had issues with contractors regarding broken assurances and ignoring client requests hoping they go away -- clearly not the case here. In fact, during the last two weeks of the deadline - Rafi pulled contractors from all his other projects and made sure the home was ready to move in for our family. The quality and craftsmanship of his crew was remarkable (especially people on his staff like Ali). We have lived in new construction and sold it recently - and I have to say, the quality of work here was actually better than what even high end builders deliver to you (sigh, Toll) - and they charge you an arm and a leg for each upgrade / change request. To summarize -- if you are planning an elaborate project for your home, you owe it to yourself to at least get a consult w these guys. Unfortunately they only get two stars since they do not have project managers, do not guarantee their work, and have ignored my request to fix a small section of the floor that is lifting up after three months. We had to deal with several contractors that they hired and for the most part did the job of a "project manager". They take on more jobs than they can handle and during the walk through ensure you that your job and satisfaction is of highest priority... Rafi & Co. deserve five stars for the amazing job they did on our 2.5 bathrooms. My husband and I walked into the their showroom after getting quotes from a couple bathroom remodel contractors and the prices and timeline were the best deal we came across. We had a tight timeline and needed a complete demo and remodel on all 2.5 bathrooms within 3 weeks. With the hands-on help and support from Rafi (who would show up at the house every other day and always respond to calls and texts) the Elite staff were able to complete the entire job in 2 weeks and 2 days! This was our first experience remodeling with a contractor and we've heard tons of nightmare stories of miscommunication, misdirection, and all the variables for things going wrong. Even with our main contact going on vacation the other members of the team really stepped up and were very responsive and helpful. When beginning our kitchen renovation I knew what I wanted. When I met Rafi we immediately connected and he was listening with interest. He showed me the gorgeous, custom walnut cabinets and I knew that was the product I had been looking for. When Rafi came for the consult at the house, he contributed a wonderful idea to take out our hot water heater, move it behind the wall, and gain a huge pantry space of dreams. It was a costly addition to the initial plan, however, it made all the difference in the renovation. I was expecting my initial ideas on cost to be higher, and they were, of course, when you start adding up all of the labor costs and details that someone who doesn't renovate kitchens wouldn't think about. Rafi was very detailed and walked me through each step with great detail and patience when needed. The entire crew was fantastic to work with. They always showed up on time, smiling and kind to myself, my husband and my kids, and were incredibly diligent! It was nice to see the same people for days on end and get to know them a bit. And their work is top-notch! They also did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day and picking up their trash- which even though the job site is messy, it was a great detail to not also see trash laying around. The project ultimately had it's (un)expected bumps and additional costs- which is hard in the moment, but quite honestly expected when working with and older house (some plumbing issues which were quickly resolved and an uneven floor which was also fixed immediately). Integrity, Great Craftsmanship, and a Beautiful End Result We met with quite a few contractors and designers before deciding on Elite Kitchen and Bath to completely gut/remodel our master bathroom and give the kid's bathroom a much-needed facelift. They didn't come in with the lowest or highest bid, but when we met with Pete, he took his time, talked through our project with us, and he really gave us the sense that he cared about the integrity of the work. We didn't get that from the other people we'd talked to. So, we went with our gut instinct and hired them for the job. Throughout the remodel, everything was done by the book. After years of procrastination and the fact that both of our bathroom faucets were leaking all over the counter and the faucet supply line was leaking under the sinks we decided it was time to remodel our master bathroom. We had 3 contractors come in for estimates and chose Elite. We had a friend use them and they were very satisfied. Still we wanted to see if their estimate would be comparable to other contractors. We received a bid from Elite that was very close to one company and much below the other. Our remodel involved relocation of our shower and bath, moving plumbing around and reframing of walls to enlarge our walk-in closet. We are very satisfied with the work Elite did. Rafi initiated our plans and Pete took over as the construction started. The workers were very reliable with regard to arriving on time and cleaning up. We had some rainy days and the COVID 19 crisis hit right during the job. The workers were careful to keep social distance and wore masks. Pete kept in contact on a daily basis and visited when he needed to be there. We were given an estimated time line for the job of 4-6 weeks. The bathroom was finished right around 6 weeks. The added on closet took another 4 days. Our new bathroom and walk in closet which we added on as the job progressed came out beautiful. Elite Kitchen and Bath completely remodeled our master bedroom and bathroom. We originally had his and hers sinks: one enclosed with the toilet and shower, the other outside the bathroom and in the bedroom. The master bedroom was originally large with a wall closet and didn't make good use of space. Rafi has an excellent eye, helping us pick out the shower tile, floor tile, quartz countertop, and vanity color. The crew custom built our large new vanity and linen closet in the bathroom. New walls were put in to enclose the new, larger bathroom and a new walk-in closet. We really appreciated Pete (our project manager) who managed the work through completion. Pete is very responsive, and we really appreciated his recommendations throughout. The crew is exceptional and really produced great quality work. The project took a little longer than expected, but considering it was in the middle of a pandemic and the holidays, it wasn't too bad. All in all, we are very happy with the work and definitely recommend them. read more

I came across Elite through yelp. From the beginning to the end, it was more than perfect. I have 3 bids to remodel my kitchen and I decided to go w Elite. I spoke and visited the showroom and finally everything. First Pete was my project manager and he was excellent I communication in every steps of the way. Second the price was reasonable and competitive with other bids. Third the crew were professional, and deliver super workmanship to the details that I wanted and like. Fourth my project was done over a week earlier than proposed which was a plus especially without a kitchen for a while. I like their work so much that I ended extended the floor work the entire first floor, and waiting for quote for the fireplace job. Pete helped me w design the kitchen I wanted and all detailed that I wanted. I would highly recommended Elite especially working w Pete. Thank you so much to make my dream kitchen comes to live.
