Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. Him and his wife own the shop which they opened about a year ago. She's the baker. Their speciality is custom order cakes. Gorgeous, sophistically designed cakes. But they are not a one trick pony. No sirree. They also sold cupcakes, trifles, cream puffs, and tarts. They were all sitting pretty looking divinely delicious in a refrigerated counter. I bought two cupcakes. One was a honey roasted peanut butter on chocolate cupcake and the other I forgot the name of. But it was a chocolate cupcake of some sort with a vanilla type of cream frosting. Those were $4.50 a piece. Carlos told me the cupcakes are cold but best eaten about 40 minutes to a hour at room temp. Sorry to say I had no will power to wait that long. They both got devoured shortly after I got back to my car. Even without the wait, it was delicious. Moist, flavorful cake. The frosting was delicious and piped on perfectly. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. I recently discovered the absolute gem that is Elite Bakery Cafe in Carmichael, CA, and I must say, it's hands down the best coffee shop in the entire area. Nestled conveniently on Fair Oaks Blvd, just a stone's throw away from 24 Hour Fitness, this cafe is a must-visit. One of the first things that struck me about Elite Bakery Cafe is its ideal location and ample parking. It's incredibly convenient, allowing for hassle-free visits. You can pop in for a delightful treat without worrying about finding a parking spot. What makes this place truly exceptional is the friendly Armenian family that owns and operates it. Their warmth and hospitality create a welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like part of the family. Their dedication to providing top-notch service is truly commendable. Now, let's talk about their pastries. Prepare to be transported to pastry heaven! Each bite is a divine experience, with pastries that are incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor. From traditional Armenian delights to classic favorites, their pastries are a true testament to their expertise and passion. You can taste the love and care that goes into crafting each and every treat. The staff at Elite Bakery Cafe are not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. They are more than happy to guide you through their menu and offer recommendations based on your preferences. Your taste buds will thank you, and your health will too. What pleasantly surprised me is that all this deliciousness comes at very reasonable prices. While their bakery items are good, they are not good enough for me to risk getting covid-19. The woman serving me behind the counter was not wearing a mask, and two women were seated at a table talking, not eating or drinking, also not wearing masks. One of the seated woman had on what looked to be an apron, so perhaps she worked there. I won't be back here, ever.
