    Bear claw

I'm not sure why I have not stopped here sooner, what a wonderful neighborhood bakery and cafe!! I came in looking for a special treat for a birthday and didnt want to buy a whole cake and have a bunch of leftovers since only one person was having cake. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of cakes and specialties, as well as pastries that were available. I chose a bear claw and decided to eat that while I was there, since there was no way to eat that in the car with the powdered sugar, etc., making a mess. They put it on a plate and brought it to me. I also chose a Napoleon and a slice of carrot cake and a peanut butter cookie to take to go. I asked if they had a pick that said happy birthday and she went in the back and found one for me so it was one stop shopping for what I needed. What I was so surprised with was they have crêpes and sandwiches and many items I was unaware of. I definitely will have to come back and try some more and maybe come back for lunch or brunch. The lady was super helpful and friendly. There's nice seating inside if you want to eat your goodies here as well. Located in the shopping center across from Raleys on Fairoaks Boulevard in the same building as the UPS store so if you're taking some Amazon returns back walk down a few doors and check them out! .

I can't even begin to describe how wonderful this place is. It's amazing for pastries, cakes, breakfast, and lunch. They savory crepes are out of this world! Coffee fantastic. I discovered it and treated myself. Now, it's become a staple in my week! You deserve this place in your life.

Ordered a carrot cake for a birthday party - it was hands-down the most beautiful, tasty, elegant, most moist, bestest cake EVER!!!

We are regulars here for coffee and breakfast. When it came time for a big event cake, I knew right where to go! It was the best decision EVER!

Took to trusty yelp to find a coffee shop for my friend and I's monthly meet up. Was very excited to see this one was close to my house and close to her work. The photos we saw on Yelp all looked so good! Located on Fair Oaks it's easy to find, it has a parking lot but it was pretty full as they share it with the many other businesses. The inside is on the smaller side but I did really like how quaint it was. As much as I wanted too, I didn't order any food, just a coffee. They brew Temple coffee and I got the honey latte with almond milk. I'm not sure if they used actually honey or a syrup but it was very sweet. Next time I'll have to ask if they can do only half sweet. They have an incredibly appetizing pastry case and they had wonderful service!

Everything is sooo delicious! We keep coming back again and again just for the dumplings -- they're amazing. The server is also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

What a gem! Located right off Arden/fair oaks blvd. If you're not paying attention, you may miss it. It is such a cute, quaint bakery, and they offer some really great breakfast items. I've heard they're known for their soups. I came in the morning and the staff was super pleasant and their coffee was delicious. They're not open on Sundays, but I will be back during the week for one of their lunchtime treats.

Great quality food and drinks and great service as well. I enjoyed my Armenian coffee and the Armenian sandwich was delicious as well. I also loved the napoleon. I would for sure come back and try other things. It is very clean and comfortable inside as well. Definitely check this place out if you haven't already.

I love this place. The owner is extremely friendly and so kind. I used to come here to work weekly and she would always encourage me to try her newest sweets/ drinks. We have great conversations and I love supporting a small business for her and her family. I like that they have the same tea as temple but wish the flavors would be replicated. The mini cheesecake are amazing and their other variety sweets are good. I have even had their savory crepes and some dishes to try. This place has everything!! The other workers are not as friendly, but I haven't had as many instances with them

Loved the blueberry scone: sweet, soft, buttery Enjoyed the Croissant: savory instead of sweet, perfectly baked Ice White Mocha: very sweet Perfect study spot with a few outlets on the wall. Service was great and the girls working there were very kind.

Ham and cheese croissant and vietnamese coffee

had a decent experience! arrived around 1:30pm. very quiet. plenty of seating which was nice. a little warm inside, but manageable. service was friendly. plenty of pastries displayed. decided to try their version of a ham/cheese croissant and a vietnamese coffee. about $12-13 for this purchase (fair price). ham/cheese croissant was ok. i think it would of tasted better if i had came in the morning? coffee was great though! only downside was the straw not being long enough to mix the condensed milk on the bottom :( overall an ok experience.

I was the only customer in there at the time, but it was nice to hear a little bit of their backstory. The space is clean and modern and definitely the sort of coffee shop. I would want to hang out and spend some time in. As for what I ordered, the latte was creamy and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. The almond croissant had a slightly overpowering almond extract flavor to it. If the almond extract was toned down a little bit, it would've been perfect. They've gotten exceptionally good at standardizing their drinks across the board as well. We have also tried many of their drinks outside of what we ordered today, including the 1987, 18 to the Brain, Thai Coffee, and Mexican Mocha. They have a food menu as well, which ranges from rice bowls to breakfast sandwiches. It's a great place to go to meet with friends, studying, or working on a project. I picked up my drink across where I ordered and then I picked up my food from a separate place when the device they gave me buzzed. Inspires me to make chia seed pudding at home. * Hot earl grey creme tea $4 - I added honey. Perfect balance of citrus and black tea flavors. Came in a big paper cup, but had the option of having it in a tea pot and pouring it myself. Note they have a card surcharge of 2.9%. I was able to find a comfy seat with a round table. There were a lot of people but still enough seating and not too loud inside. The music was relaxing. Loved all the natural light and cozy, earthy vibes. The people are friendly and knowledgeable if you have questions. It's family owned. Finding it is annoying because it's in a larger corporate building and shares the space with the sandwich spot. There's plenty of parking around the area, but only a few spots right in front of the entrance. Full review: Been coming here for a little over a year. Tried almost all of their drinks, cookies, and macrons, including several of their rotating specials. I've also had their savory croffle and it was delicious. This place is BY FAR the best matcha/coffee shop I've ever had. If you are a Dutch bros or Starbucks person, you may not love it. This place is not about dumping sugar into all their drinks. Flavor comes first, sweetner is secondary. Food/Drink: I'm not the coffee drinker, my partner is, and he rates his favorite as follows: 1. Pistachio Latte 2. Fish Sauce (it has a strong caramel flavor with a little saltiness, no fish flavor) 3. Cookie Butter 4. Black Sesame He's tried every coffee on the permanent menu and these are his favorites. Now for the Matcha/Teas. I can't pick a favorite, because they're all perfect. Not too sweet, and whatever the flavor, it stands out! For example, when they had a pistachio matcha, I watched them crush pistachios for my drink specifically. The flavor was so strong and they clearly know what they're doing picking these flavor combos, because it was excellent. I also love the banana matcha, the banana pudding matcha, the mango matcha, and the double matcha. But the star is the mango sticky rice matcha. I've only had it twice because it's a WHOLE MEAL in a drink. It's delicious and unique and the flavors are outstanding. It actually has all the ingredients of mango sticky rice, including cooked rice. It's amazing!! My personal favorite drink, that I've got the last 10 times I've visited is the black sesame hojicha. It is seriously the best drink I've ever had. Right now, I think they only have the double black sesame on their menu, but I've asked for this every time since it was on their specials menu and they still make it. The cookies and macrons and AMAZING. The s'mores cookie is my absolute fave and the damn crème brûlée macron is in my top 10 desserts of all time. The savory croffle is also a surprisingly good breakfast choice. I honestly thought there is no way they could be doing all of this well, but they don't put anything on the menu that isn't delicious and well made. Service: We've been here so many times that we've been lucky enough to talk to both the husband and wife that own the place. They are so damn creative and come up with the flavors for not only the drinks, but the pastries. They are both very nice. There are a few people working the registers every time we visit and they are helpful if you have questions and they're quick to get these drinks out even though they basically prep the ingredients fresh for each drink. Location/parking: This place is a pain to find. It is across the parking lot from the bank entrance, sharing a space with a sandwich spot. There are a few parking spaces in front of the store, but the parking on the main street is free. There is a lot of seating inside and large tables for big groups. There are even plug in areas at the bar like seating along the windows. Unfortunately, they aren't open on Sundays or it would be the perfect study spot.

Bella Bru Cafe Review August 02, 2026…read more Came in around 1:50 PM on a weekend. There was no greeting, not even a simple "hi." It had a very "figure it out yourself" kind of atmosphere. We let that slide and eventually found the printed menu ourselves. The menu clearly stated that breakfast is served until 2 PM, but we were told the breakfast kitchen had already closed early. There was no sign or notice saying this. We only found out from the cashier, who seemed only half attentive. She was still chatting with a coworker while finishing the order of the couple ahead of us and seemed more focused on the conversation than on customers. I ordered the tuna melt. The butter on the grilled white bread left an old, stale aftertaste that I had to wash down with their drip coffee. The sandwich was also poorly balanced. Instead of slicing the avocado properly, they stuffed what looked like half an avocado into it, leaving me with a bulging sandwich that had more avocado than tuna. Compared to a tuna sandwich from Quiznos or Subway at about half the price, this felt like a rip-off. Unfortunately, we still gave them another chance and ordered a slice of carrot cake. We noticed that several customers who ordered after us received their cake much sooner, even though all the server had to do was slice it from the display. Our order was served last, despite being one of the simplest. Overall, the food was overpriced, the service was inattentive, and the experience left a lot to be desired. We won't be coming back.
