I've been here a couple times and really enjoyed it but the last time we went will be the last time.... We're regulars and have never really noticed anything until now.... In an industry that Customer Service appears to be dwindling, this place blows it out of the water! My wife and I ate here this past Friday evening. They of course, we're busy, but the host and manager worked seamlessly on multiple occasions to get every guest and party sat quickly without having to wait longer than about 5-10 minutes depending on the party size. We ended up being sat at the bar, which proved to be great! Both bartenders were absolutely buried, but made it a point to regularly check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Not to mention, the bartenders also made sure to get smiles from each guest by either cracking jokes, or politely giving compliments to random guests. Highly suggest ordering the dinner platters, as you can pick either multiple meats or multiple sides. The loaded mashed potatoes are on point and have a slight Au Gratin kick to them! Food was excellent except for the minor matter that this is a BBQ place that ran out of brisket. All food tasted good. Service however was very poor, Food arrived without condiments and getting sauces, salad dressing etc before the food got cold was a challenge . I hope this place gets it staffing worked out, could be a nice place for lunch and dinner, but it will be awhile before I try them again. read more

This restaurant was originally a raving stop when we went to The Orchard. My son expressed his disappointment with a new menu, slacking service, and more negatives. Not believing him after raving satisfaction by our guests, we stopped by yesterday and were deflated by what was now Elevated Q. What was BBQ at its best is a lack luster Asian Fusion with no true BBQ. I enjoy Asian Fusion but this is a sad attempt. No longer do they serve brisket chili, burnt ends, or general BBQ meat combos with great sides. The drinks lacked the lovely raspberries they once held, meals were delivered with the wrong name of the serving selection, the flies from the Rusty Bucket are back, and my salad w seared tuna was over peppered and the tuna was stringy and fatty. My husband and I spoke with the owner and chef nearly a year ago, both great people. Unfortunately, they must have hired a new chef who is pushing an embarrassing BBQ menu offering smoked turkey. As for me, I will remain optimistically elevated for the excitement of a revised ElevatedQ Menu. May the foodie God hear my prayer. The service was not so attentive. I went there with my wife, the place wasn't busy but there was a 15 min wait so we sat at the bar. There was 4 people at the bar, plenty of open chairs. The whole time we couldn't get a bar tender to even acknowledge us. After 15 min we got up and left. At which point the bar tender named Chris shouted, "thanks for coming in." Seriously dude?? Hubby & I were curious about this place because it always smelled so good when we walked by it :). Went in for a peaceful Tuesday night dinner. The place wasn't that busy. We had a GREAT waitress. Should have gotten her name but she was helpful, attentive & polite. Husband had the 1/2 pd pulled pork & burnt end briskets w/ coleslaw & mashed potatoes. I had the 1/4 pd pulled chicken & burnt end brisket. We could have easily split a 1/2 pd btwn us. We especially enjoyed the burnt brisket ends & the variety of sauces our waitress brought us to try. I also had a glass of moscato (can never go wrong with that) and my husband iced tea. He said the tea tasted fresh, something he rarley finds. Overall, we had a good experience. Slightly over-priced but I guess everything has gone up lately. We'll definitely come back & would recommend this place! read more

Nice place. Very good bar with a solid beer selection and ok wines. I had the Pitmaster - Mac and Cheese with choice of smoked meat, onion straws. Comes in big bowl half full, so at first glance thought it wouldn't be enough. It was unbelievably fantastic! So good and perfect amount to fill me up. Chris the bartender made me nice Bulleit Manhattan with large rock. Decoy Merlot is an OK glass of wine. Others at bar seemed very pleased with their meals and service. read more

If you're looking for traditional bbq this not the place. I would considered this upscale fusion bbq. It's fairly lively joint and in some places you're packed in close to other guests. The food was decent but I was hoping for regular bbq and no foo-foo bbq. The others in the party seemed to enjoy their food. Their biggest negative was the speed of service. Took about an hour from when the order was placed to getting the food. It's good for people who don't favor plain ol bbq, but for those that want that elsewhere will be better. read more

We sat in the dining area, very responsive service. Our starter came out before our drinks although one of us ordered the EQ old fashioned that is smoked that came with a special treat to remove a smoking infuser at the table. Fried pickle chips were standard as ordered. Cocktails were good. 2 meat platters ordered. First time Ever having a spicy potato salad, wish they would have put spicy in the description the same way they put " loaded" in the mashed potatoes description. Smoked street corn was also spicy and every other street corn I've had, has been sweet. Mac & cheese were creamy shells but no cheese flavor, and cornbread came with a sweet butter. Brisket was a little more dry than anticipated from a bbq spot and smoked Turkey portions were smaller than the brisket which was super surprising. Also, were out of ribs which they stated was the second night in a row. As I'm in metro Denver, I continue to have mediocre bbq. Prices were reasonable, and again service was on top of it and friendly. read more

Just ordered takeout and unfortunately the food was less than satisfactory, salmon was not smoked and overcooked, cornbread was very dry and sweet, rustic fries and potatoes had an overly sweet seasoning, smoked street corn had an overwhelming taco seasoning flavor, grits were not seasoned and had no slack in them, mac and cheese had plastic like cheese with no flavor or seasoning, potato salad was hot. read more

I have never been asked if I wanted to leave a restaurant before, especially after waiting 40 minutes for our dinner, because they didn't have enough staff and according to our waitress, the staff they did have have no idea what they are doing. We had a great meal at this new bbq restaurant in the orchard mall. We ordered the burnt ends, brisket, mile high sandwich and the smoke ribs. Everything was very tasty and exactly what we ordered. The server was attentive, provided suggestions when asked and was generally polite. We tried the brownie and the fruit cobbler. I definitely liked the brownie better. The food is really good and great service! The pretzel bites are so yummy and the BBQ is great but the sides are even better! I loved the white cheddar grits and my husbands fav was the potato salad which had kind of a chipotle kick to it! I highly recommend!!! read more

I've been coming to Elevated Q since they took over the Rusty Bucket. Other than a hiccup or two, I've had good experiences. Today was what I've come to expect. Stopped in around happy hour. Bar staff was great. Ordered a few beers from the nice selection and the loaded bbq fries which were loaded with fries but not a lot of beef. Also ordered a short stack of wings. Wings were huge (but 4 for $7?) not that great - could have been cooked bit longer and were smothered with sauce. Also tried the brisket and unfortunately disappointed again - dry and not much of a smoke ring. Since they are new I'll probably give them another try again in few months. read more

We enjoyed our Easter dinner. I tried the Shrimp, Sausage & Grit dish. It was great. The Reaper sauce (on the side) was way too hot for me but our waitress Zoe was so helpful in finding just the right sauce. They were unique as far as flavor. Service was great & servings were plenty. First off the servers and staff were very friendly. We decided to try this place out on a Saturday evening. Not too busy and we got seated right away. We were told they were out of burnt ends - no big deal we can just substitute. However, after placing our orders for an appetizer with brisket and entrees with brisket we heard the staff say they were out of it. Needless to say our loaded fries had only a couple small pieces of brisket, the Elevated sandwich only had a couple small chunks (on one side - not the other) and one thin piece of turkey. The bowl my wife received barely had any brisket either. If we would have know we could've substituted the meat to get the full value of our meal. I know bbq restaurants can run out of meat especially in the evenings but a heads up would've been nice instead of receiving barely any of the meat. I may try this place again to see if the portions are any different but definitely not on a weekend evening. read more
