What a great luncheon we had at Elevated Q! The staff and owner/manager were simply awesome. We had a small gathering (about 20) and used the private room at Elevated Q. They set up an awesome buffet for our group with three meats, slaw, corn. They provided three of their most popular sauces, but they also provided samples of their other sauces if someone wanted to try them. Oh, they also provided their own pickles and pickled onions. The main course was so good I almost forgot their appetizers. We ordered the Fried Pickles and Pretzel bites. The pickles were down right awesome. They were my favorite, but the Pretzel Bites were excellent also. Now for the staff. I was so busy being social with my group, that I forgot the names of the staff. I have to say, they were perfect. Food was cold by the time it got out to us and very dry. Almost impossible to get a refill on our drinks even though there was hardly any customers. It wasnt until after we finished eating and got the check that the waitress said oh I forgot to tell you there's a sauce bar in the back. I'm sorry this is late. so about 4 nights ago, My wife and my 2 little ones and I went to this place. we had never been here before. We chose this place over Red Robin that night. Mainly cause they were able to seat us first. And man am I glad they did. Food: The Barbecue here is excellent! my wife and I got the fourteener I think is what it is called. Basically it is a platter of the various BBQ they have. This is a great option to share on a date. plenty of food! We had ribs, pulled pork, Burnt ends brisket, smoked turkey, and I forget what else. it was amazing. the turkey was well smoked and moist. you also got to choose what kind of BBQ sauce you wanted from there menu. Which ties into my next category..... Service: the server was wonderful. I think her name was Katlyn or Kathrine (I'm sorry if both of those were wrong). I would ask about the cheese sauce they have for their pretzel bites, and she offered to give me a sample. I didn't even have to ask. she was awesome! The owners stopped by and said what's up (Anthony and Dax). I complimented them on their product and and what they have going on. They were very great full. I talked to Anthony about the name of the restaurant as well ( I'll get into that), he pulls ip a chair and talks to us about it. I said that I brought my little ones right?, they are 5 and 3. They are precious and have all the energy in the world (most of the time). My youngest was playing on the seat and goofing around, next thing he knew one of the waiters engages him playing along and it took my boy by surprise. it was really cool. My youngest accepted it and started laughing. They also have TV's there to watch whatever game you want to watch. And they are more than happy to change the channel for you as well. Welcome Elevated Q to the neighborhood! We recently visited this new barbeque restaurant that opened close to home. I found the new restaurant and immediately went to their website. The website immediately grabbed my attention as I always look to see if they have Burnt Ends. After I saw they had them, the other items look amazing and got me excited. We ordered the game and cheese board, the burnt ends, the pork belly and sides; Beans, corn bread, mac n' cheese. The food came and looked great. we were able to grab choices of 5 sauces and pickles and peppers. everything exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere was very good. Not much to say. We waited 15 minutes after being seated and finally asked if someone could help us. Food was very mediocre. One of the items we ordered was a Cobb salad. Turns out they were out of turkey for it. Service was terrible. We were in a bit of a hurry and the long delay waiting to get service didn't help. Asked the gal/bartender for our check and she forgot (I guess) so I had to send my daughter out while I waited to ask again. It was really empty at dinner and now I know why. Service from Chris was good, he was the bartender, server and host. We sat at the bar, which was an unfortunate choice. The bar looks and smells like it hasn't been cleaned in 3 years. The stale beer smell permeates the entire area. While sitting at the bar you can see the dirt and mold growing over everything. Fruit left out without ice, mixers left sitting in a sink, and the entire bar top is covered in old beer and crumbs. The manager spent her entire time sitting in a booth, doing what looked like online shopping while one employee ran around everywhere. There were 3 different employees sitting at the bar enjoying a meal and playing on their phones as well. It is not shocking that this place was absolutely empty on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I've been wanting to try this place because it has a cool vibe from the outside. It is just as cool on the inside. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Beer was cold and awesome. My chef salad was perfect and tasty. Kudos to the service. The only bummer is that they only have five appetizer items and they were out of the two that I wanted. Bison meat balls sounded good but I couldn't have them because I was told they were prepping them. It was 1:30 so I guess for dinner? Second choice Smoked salmon dip was also MIA. First time dining there this past Saturday evening. We had a reservation and were seated on time. Meats and sides were delicious. We had the 1/2 slab of ribs and brisket. The cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were wonderful! Service was lacking. More explanation needed by the waiter for certain foods (like the burger comes dry, no sauce.) There is a serve-yourself sauce bar which we didn't know about because the waiter neglected to tell us. Also, after our food was served, he never returned to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. The ambiance is more modern, open and pretty loud. Swanky cocktails were just okay. Nice selection of bourbons and whiskeys though. Its the restaurant's first month of opening so we will give it another chance a few months from now. read more

Slow service, not given enough menus for the entire table and no knowledge of what drinks were available. We all could not even finish our food because of the horrible quality and it was also cold. I went here while on vacation with my family and our server and the manager were super friendly and told us about places to go during our stay and were just awesome people all around. You have to try it out! My husband and I frequent this area on date night. Our first time to Elevated Q was so special that it will now be in our regular rotation. The things that matter in an excellent dining experience is customer service and food excellence. This location had that and more. I think the staff did the hardest word to make our trip a memorable one. We had mostly HH to try the most items and really enjoyed the drinks. We shared the two meat platter and appetizer of the pretzels it was all good. On a last min request I asked for burnt ends. If you know BBQ, those are hard to make well. And they were amazing. This is a great find! Good solid BBQ but with some unique other dishes. The Brussel sprouts and the burnt ends are two of my favorites. But what really makes this place awesome is the bar. We will never go back to this restaurant. We ordered for pick up after a swim meet. Got there and the food wasn't ready. It took 50+ minutes to get out food even though the app said it would take 20-30 mins. The manager was rude. The hostess was so sweet and kind but had no way of helping us beyond checking on the food and saying it just wasn't done. The French Dip was SOAKED and soggy. Immediately. This wasn't after we drove it home. Right when we got it the sauce had all spilled out and soaked the sandwich. The kid's grilled cheese had spicy pickles with it, which makes no sense to me. And the fries had zero seasoning. The Turkey sandwich came with nothing on it. Just a dry sandwich and we didn't get our drinks. So. A definitely never visit again for us. read more

Terrible service, you could hear the cooks in the back screaming at each other cussing so loud the whole dining room could hear it. Every single one of our meals was missing a certain ingredient. Elevated Q owners - you'll have to up your game if you want to make it. We ordered take out the other night and in addition to problems with the online ordering function, the food was not good. Every morsel of meat in our order was bone- dry, some (the smoked turkey) nearly inedible. The Mac & cheese was flavorless and greasy, the apple habenero slaw bland and the cornbread dry and stale. If memory serves me correctly there was 5 burnt ends , 2 slices of smoked Turkey, 4 small ribs and a very small amount of Pulled pork far less than a 1/4 lb. You've never eaten at a BBQ joint like this! My wife and I have been on the hunt for good BBQ near our home in Erie for over three years. Thank you, Elevated Q, for finally delivering BBQ that exceeded our expectations. My wife had the BBQ Creole Shrimp and Grits. Flavor and presentation were great. She said she will add a little Tabasco or Cholula. I ordered the BBQ Braised Short Ribs with cheddar grits and brussels sprouts. Incredible flavor and cooked perfect. For dessert we had their lemon cake and red velvet cake (no other detail needed, you've just got to try it). Everything we had was incredible. Including the "off the menu" mojito they made for my wife. Portions were large. We had plenty to take home for later. Wait staff was very attentive but not overbearing. Jax was our waiter and he was great. Casual but nice environment. Big screen TVs to watch the game. A big thank you to Nate and Bex, who were the most unpretentious, customer-focused restaurant owners we've met in a long time. We've dined at Elevated Q 3 times. The 1st was good, we were on the patio and our server was very good food was tasty. 2nd visit was also pretty good. Our 3rd visit was bad, we came in at a slow time 3:45 on a Sat., very few tables occupied. We ordered the wings and the Enchiladas, it took an hour to get our food which my husband inquired about couple of times. The Enchiladas came out wrong....we were specific about the green goddess on the side and the waiter acknowledged that, they came with the dressing all over the top. the food was dropped off by another server, when our server finally asked how everything was I told him the dressing is on the dish. He then said do you want me to have them remade, which under normal circumstances would have been fine, but no way were we going to wait any longer. We left paying a full price and left a tip, 2 bites out of the dish he asked if we wanted to take home which was his job, but no we wouldn't have eaten them. We are rating a 3 only as our prior experiences were decent, this last one was a 1. Not sure if or when we'll return. Ordered a "Deluxe" sandwich - consisting of 3 small "odd" shaped dry pieces of meat (even having to pay an extra $2 to get a tiny portion of beans), AND a regular Brisket sandwich (also extra for a simple, tiny portion of beans), and our order came to over $30!! No fries, sauce, nothing! NO question or inclusion of ANY sauce or anything which may have been helpful... we picked the order up ourselves so no sweat or time off their brow, and I haven't heard a thing back from this terrible attempt at a BBQ joint!! I even picked off what little meat I did receive from the small brisket sandwich (super dry bun) to ADD to my son's "Deluxe" sandwich! What did Deluxe mean? Also...what does "Elevated" Q mean? (When you see and taste your food that you're so livid, you're "elevated" with anger??) It'd be Deluxe IF you were actually able to find meat or sauce inside a piece of bread consisting of lettuce and a bite of tomato?? My brisket sandwich was so dry that I had to swallow water upon each bite to wash it down. Wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE TEN stars and change its name to "DRY AS DIRT BUT EXPENSIVE BBQ"! We really enjoyed our evening at Elevated Q. The service was A+ and the managers stopped by to check on us also. The menu has a wide variety of BBQ options including salads and sandwiches with the different meats and sides. They have 10 different types of BBQ meant and 15 sides so lots of options for mix and match. My wife had a terrific Moscow Mule and they have a huge selection of Bourbons and Whiskey. It has a both a family and intimate atmosphere so good for just about any night. read more
