The steak was tuff and it was bread coated horrible I got 3 tiny pieces shrimp all bread I was so disgusted I was glad the young lady didn't ask me how's everything? The menu said they had gyro but some processed meat to look like gyros yuk!!! Wasn't satisfied. read more

Went to Element for breakfast a month ago then dinner couple weeks ago. Love what they did inside & out and much better place to eat. Breakfast: I had Liege waffle with chicken. I didn't know Liege waffle is more dense because it's made from a dough instead of what we used to the batter type of fluffy waffles. I didn't care for it too much and hubby liked it. He also liked his club sandwich and said so far it's the best he tried(he had it at restaurants in Star/Meridian) Dinner: hubby had the short rib and was disappointed for the price and quantity he got but the side salad came with the dinner was a good size. I had appetizer spicy fried cauliflower which was just ok. The pork chop was really good, cooked perfectly. The warm bread with butter was a plus! I am glad we have more choices to eat in town and will def support this place read more

I have to say that my experience can be summed up in just about one word. INCONSISTENT. You never know whether you salad will be made to look pretty or just grabbed from a salad bag and tossed on you plate. Ive been there 3 days in a row and ordered the same thing and NEVER is it the same . My hubby usually gets the mushroom swiss burger and its always been pretty good. But tonight it was the same size as our granddaughters childrens cheeseburger. Dry and they didnt even bring condiments to the table I think for the price we had to pay tonight it should have been worth it. Our waiter left ALOT to be desired as well. If you're looking for a gem, Elements is sure to dazzle. We spent the afternoon hunting cherries and looking around at the parks. Before we hit the road, my wife found Elements on Yelp. We sat out on the patio, shared some vino then a light dinner. The Ahi Tuna Crisps were served nacho style with a zingy Sriracha sauce- generous & deliciousness-a perfect 10. to start with, a person with me was served burned wontons..he mentioned it and the waitress just laughed it off... he ate the centers out of them, and left the rest. ($11.00) I got the special and it took 50 min to get it. after everyone got served around me I was informed cook didnt know how to make it..10 more minutes go by and the waitress says The owner has to show him how to make it. (buttermilk dipped chicken) 25 min later I got the sandwich and it was good.. but had to ask for my fries to hold me over..and they had been done for 20 min under the heat lamp. I didnt complain until the next day. I went in and I asked about the hash.. I asked how much meat she said 6 oz.. I debated over it for some time and agreed to try it once more "new owners and all" came with 4 dime sized chunks and the rest like crumbs. I wanted crisp potatoes so they deep fried them they were not good.. (owner said they cant get crisp on the grill) the smaller pieces were all burned. The waitress told me if I didnt like it .. lucky for me there are other places to eat..When another lady came in she was a long time customer and ordered the same thing always.. she told me that when she got take out there was so little meat she was shocked. So she ordered it and then also complained of the lack of meat. The owner gets called out for her.. and he makes her an extra serving of meat..not me though.. and says this is the normal amount and that no one ever complains (except me) well now the only 3 people in the restaurant now had all complained I pointed out. Owner said its always been the same 5 oz. The waitress told me it was 6 oz..it was no where close to 6 oz.. they say its weighed. It looks like an icecream scoop of meat) So the owner tells me He was there and I didnt wait 50 minutes plus for my food.. he always looks at the receipts.. I kept track of the time because I ordered then my sister called and we talked 18 minutes. He said he cooked it and he knows it didnt take that long. I said.. the waitress came out after 25 min and told me the new cook didnt know how to cook it they had to wait for the owner to show him. The owner was out talking to customers.. most of the time..I saw him. Then 10 min later waitress said it again..the owner is going to show him.. and 15 to 20 min later I got my sandwich.. it was good. He informed me I didnt have to eat there and I said I didnt plan on it. My son was informed later that I am kicked out. Nice.. For sticking up for myself about food and service I get booted (I wasnt going back for food anyway) I have always tipped well for good service and the first waitress has gotten 10.00 tips from me a few times over the years.. she was the first to say I could go somewhere else..as though she owned the place..strange. Great place to catch a meal even if you're between meals. Went for a very late lunch and was surprised they were open. Service was prompt. Food was good. We lingered for quite some time without any rush being felt from any of the staff. Fish and chips was pretty good considering we're landlocked and not really all that close to any fresh cod. read more

Just received a handful of bagged salad as their house salad on the side. Seems like the normal house salad isn't sent out all the time, a quality control issue that ruins someone's meal when that's their only side, nor did the person on the phone offer anything other than a "We're sorry for you". What? We always tip the servers there as if we dined in their dining room. We always leave a good tip for takeout. This makes us question why we'd continue to do that. Quality control & customer service is vital to a restaurant. The young man who took the order & handed me the bag didn't seem to care. read more

After trying this place 5 times, we only had 1 meal that was considered good. The other meals we sub par... and tiny portions for the price! I know they are going through some 'new opening' adjustments, but it has been several disappointing experiences and the food is not anything really spectacular. The place is nice. The waitresses are nice. Prime Rib: chewy, over cooked, terrible Veggie burger: good Tri tip sandwich: terrible, overcooked and dry. Perhaps they microwaved it? Hmm? Macaroni cheese: terrible, you can taste the flour! And a Small portion too Cheeseburger: good Ham and eggs: toast dry/ burned; subpar. Small portion. I guess you expect a little more at a restaurant. Carrot cake: good Sweet potato fries: Received about 10 fries and some were burnt. Service: things take long!! Expect to wait. Had to ask for more bread.. never got any. Have to remind for more coffee Never got any water refill Staff is very nice, kind and courteous but that only goes so far when you're paying for subpar food. Elements Kitchen and Bar offers a new taste for the town of Emmett. Their full renovation of the former Cold Mountain Creek restaurant offers a fresh, modern, yet cozy vibe, and will soon offer a relaxing patio for dining al fresco! Newly opened, they are just getting in the swing of things, yet their staff was friendly and on the ball! From special orders, questions, as well as a continual refill on waters, everyone (including the cook and manager) made sure all was up to par, so kudos! While we stuck to water, they do offer bottled and canned adult beverages; however you won't find mixed drinks. As I was dining with my German friend, I splurged and ordered the soft German-style pretzel to share. The pretzel came out nice and hot, and while my friend stated that it lacked authenticity, the flavor was very good. We also really enjoyed the light airy center, with its crinkly, crispy crust, and a sprinkling of flaky salt on top which really made the flavor pop! The pretzel was served with a white beer cheese dipping sauce which was lite and creamy, but I found the sauce slightly bland, and was served cold rather than warmed, which seemed off in contrast to the steaming hot pretzel. If you don't want to splurge on a starter, we were also served a small, complimentary loaf of a multigrain bread with whipped butter. It was good, but not as tasty as the pretzel. Their dinner menu is slightly limited, and a tad pricy, but they do serve less expensive lunch options for dinner as well. For my entree, I went for the Panang Curry, which is labeled as vegetarian, but I opted to add chicken for $4 extra. The curry wasn't like what I'm used to, as it is more soup-like than the traditional, thicker curry sauce. It was served with a side of rice, however the rice was slightly undercooked, and hard. The curry was a tad on the cool side in terms of temperature. That being said, the portion size was huge and easily split for two meals. We were slightly confused as to how to eat it, as normal curry is served on a plate, with a bed of rice and curry sauce on top. Being more soup-like, it was best eaten by taking a small spoonful of sauce with a small bite of rice, if you didn't feel like dumping in all the rice. There were onions, zucchini, and squash, however based on the amount of sauce, there should have been a larger ratio of veggies, and the veggies could have been cooked slightly less to have more bite with and in smaller pieces. I also would have liked a few bell peppers and mushrooms, maybe peas to make it more traditional. While the consistency of the curry sauce/soup was different, it still had great flavor with a really, creamy coconut broth, ground chili peppers, and a hint of lemongrass. I think the curry paste was made in house, but if vegetarian I would reconfirm as some store bought curry pastes have shrimp paste in them. Also, authentic panang curry had peanuts in the paste, although I couldn't taste any peanut flavor, I would ask staff, as the labeling doesn't mention peanuts for those with allergies. As far as spice level, the dish was a 3 star on a scale of 1 to 5, although they don't offer an option to pick your spice level. Aside from that, maybe a drizzle of crema on top, with a sprinkle of chopped cilantro or thai basil leaves would kick it up a notch, but overall a great, enjoyable experience! read more

Taste and quality of food is very inconsistent. We came in on Saturday and ordered chicken fried steak & eggs and was delicious. The Nutella pancake was amazing. Ordered the exact same today (5 days later). The quality of the steak was poor, overly breaded and meat was tough. The eggs were undercooked and the potatoes were just ok. The pancakes were VERY undercooked. Ordered broccoli cheese soup that came to the table barely warm. Couldn't eat any of it even after asking if they can pop it in the microwave to heat it up. I doubt I'll be coming back again. read more

Been to Elements for a few breakfasts and had their Morning Fire Omelette with Carnitas Pork, which is a different take that I've never experienced with an omelette...very good! The Pork is tender and could also be extended to other dishes, such as a Chili Verde plate (in burrito), with some stewing shortcut in Salsa Verde sauce. Wouldn't mind seeing Chili-Rojo Colorado topped over a cheese omelette...hint! read more

I've been here three times for each meal, breakfast was excellent and dinner but lunch food had no taste. I ordered a mushroom burger, but nothing was seaon. I couldn't taste the mushrooms or the hamburger. I sent it back and just got a hamburger and asked that they put salt and pepper on it, so it had some taste. My wife and I went for our anniversary and it was our first time eating at Elements. The inside of the restaurant was nice and service was okay, but not great despite the restaurant being practically empty. We had to wait a lot and felt forgotten. The food was the biggest problem. I ordered a Philly and the meat was over cooked and dry and my wife ordered the steak burger. The ground meat patties had paper throughout it. The cook did not take the paper out that separates the frozen Patties. I ordered onion rings for an extra 2 bucks and received 6 onion rings that had no real flavor and kind of doughy. It was apparent that they were just prepackaged and frozen onion rings, nothing too special for the extra money. We will not return. read more

This restaurant is a hidden gem and the food, atmosphere and service is top notch. I highly recommend the prime rib, clam chowder, burgers, chicken avocado sandwich. It was the first time eating there and I must say I will drive the distance from Nampa. It will be a fantastic place to dine outside when the weather warms up with a beautiful secluded patio. We had the Humpty Dumpty burger, grilled chicken and avocado sandwich, portobello mushroom burger and the Philly sandwich. Everything was good except for the Philly sandwich. It was dry, over cooked and chewy. If the meat would've been chopped up like a normal Philly cheesesteak sandwich, it would've probably been better. The service was good. read more

One of the better restaurants in Emmett. They serve decent food and have a clean restaurant. Just be wary of a young male waiter. He often disappears into the back and doesn't return for long periods of time to check and see if you need anything, or inquire to see how the food tastes and if you need more water.
