Awesome hotel in Bend, OR. One of the top hotels rated on Yelp, I booked it and was NOT disappointed! Staff was very nice; there was infused water- strawberry cucumber (SO GOOD); wine and horsd'oeuvlres in the evening; breakfast was bomb; rooms were very spacious. We had a great time!! Very clean too. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and the fire pit after! Lots of parking and pretty close to downtown! Price wasn't too bad, but you pay what you get and this was great value.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time at Element Bend. The indoor pool was an excellent perk for our toddler and our room was well equipped. The bed felt very clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the TV and it was fixed quickly for us. Breakfast was enjoyable with a daily warm breakfast option and a yogurt parfait bar. Thursday night there was free bread, cheese, nuts, and beer or wine in the lobby, plus board games out for guest to enjoy. We'll stay here again on a future visit to Bend.

The strawberry and lemon ice water was great my brothers even liked it 10/10

Excellent hotel. Love the vibe, very clean, nice gym, in a great spot, LOVED the gluten free options for breakfast. The only thing i could do without the extra sass from the gentleman checking us in. I am going to keep an eye out for these hotel and try to book with them in the future if it is an option.

I really have no idea why Bend hotel prices were so expensive during the summer, but we had to come here because our friend was having a wedding at nearby Brasada Ranch. Since I'm tied to Marriott, I had to take a look at the the usual suspects of Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, and SpringHill Suites...nah, did not seem very appealing to me. But this Element hotel that was super new and had great reviews? That appealed to me. Thankfully I had a free night to cash in, and I definitely made the right choice. Booked a standard king room, but thanks to my Titanium Elite status (and my repeated calls to the hotel before we came) we got bumped up to a nice one bedroom suite. The Element hotels brand promotes long stays with a very modern and vibrant feel, and I definitely felt that with this room. Everything was super comfortable and very much my style. The full kitchen setup was really nice, wish we had a chance to use it. Hell, even the room key reader was super modern. Staff here are absolutely fantastic. Very friendly people for sure. Our room wasn't ready, but we were able to be moved to another room as we were in a bit of rush. Plus I had to figure out exactly what gas stations were open since apparently in Oregon they actually close, and the girl running the night shift helped me out on that. There is a gym and pool that are indoors, didn't get a chance to use either but they do exist. Location was more useful for us than had we stayed at the other Marriott properties, as it was very close to downtown Bend as well as the last Blockbuster. I'm just very sad that we barely spent any time in this room as we had to head out to the airport at 7 am the next day. But I'm definitely a fan of the Element Hotels brand now, and will definitely look to try and stay at other ones in the future.

I sincerely love Marriott's modern design for their Element hotel brand. Each room is a suite with a built in sitting area and full kitchen. For someone like me that travels way too much it's one of my favorites. The staff here are kind and friendly. The gym is great and a nice size. Indoor pool and even a partnership with Lettuce Grow. When weather is warmer then even have bikes to borrow. 10 min walking to downtown Bend and a beautiful park and river across the street. Thumbs up for sure. Oh did I forget to mention breakfast included!! Amazing

Great location right off the Bend Parkway, walk to Blockbuster, shops & brewery. Modern, new, clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. I was so happy to see a laundry room & immediately put 2 loads in, upon check in. We were in Room 222 which was a 600 sq one bedroom unit with a kitchen, living room, nice size bathroom, 2 large screen t-v's, 2 closets.... We had dishes, silverware, cork screw, coffee maker, dishwasher, full size fridge, stove, toaster, microwave... Breakfast was included & I enjoyed it. The cappuccino machine worked well and there was a nice selection of yogurt, muffins, fruit & cereals. I enjoyed my made to order French toast with berries and Nutella, it was awesome. Staff was wearing masks & they were social distancing. There were signs & floor markings. However many others & most children didn't follow the pandemic policy. Disappointing!!! Our room was directly across from the elevator and it was not quiet. Children & dogs were up & running before 6:30, hotel was quiet by 9 AM. We also heard the roar of traffic on the highway throughout the night. But, we would definitely stay here again preferably not during a pandemic and since we don't have children not during a school holiday.

Very conveniently located near downtown and next to the pioneer park. Very nice modern rooms and facilities and reasonably priced too! Free breakfast was decent but I've decided to take one star off due to the very limited hot food options.

Our stay at the Element was very pleasant. The room was very clean, had a small stove, large refrigerator, dishes and utensils, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom/shower. Even though it is close to the highway, it was very quiet. There was a complimentary breakfast, and the sweet potato hash was the best breakfast I've had on our whole trip. They also have a cool automatic espresso maker that make delicious mochas. We visited the pool and hot tub in the evening. Both were clean and just the right temperature. My only suggestion would be to make an Adult-Only time from 8-10:00, or keep the pool open a little later. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable. I will be happy to stay here

This hotel is owned under the Marriott brand, and then a Marriott card holder, and we were able to use points to stay here for our quick little central Oregon getaway. And this place is absolutely amazing. They had a great breakfast it was included they had coffee and beverages down all the time for grabs. They had a barbecue you could use. A lovely enclosed outdoor space and a pool that can be used year-round. The rooms were nice. Everything was completely new and modern. The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful. Very amazing time. They had a couple of rental bikes you could use to tour the downtown area which was only about a 10 minute walk or a few minute bike ride. I could gush and go on for hours about how amazing this place was what a value in a hidden gem. I will honestly say I won't be staying anywhere else when I'm in the area. This is a messy must do. The room had a great little kitchen and everything was stocked. There was not a thing missing that we needed on a trip when we got there. Every amenity was explain to us by the front desk and a happy good attitude. Just a great time.

Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel like a hassle, but here, it felt like my dog was just as welcomed and pampered as I was. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted my dog with genuine warmth, offering treats, a cozy dog bed, and even special amenities that made the stay feel thoughtful and personalized. It wasn't just "pet-tolerant"--it was truly pet-celebrating. The attention to detail made a huge difference, and it was clear they go above and beyond for guests with furry companions. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are luxurious, and everything feels high-end without being pretentious. If you're traveling with your dog and want a place that treats both of you like VIPs, the Oxford Hotel is hands down one of the best choices out there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Bend again! Also, the coffee in the room was excellent!!

I accidentally left personal items in the room and am 100% certain they were left there. I contacted the hotel multiple times and they kept telling me they would follow up--but no one ever did. I never received a return call like they promised, a resolution, or any form of compensation, which was extremely disappointing for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, the staff I interacted with came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. A little accountability or basic courtesy would have gone a long way. For example I had to call down to the front desk 3 times in one morning just to get someone to bring toilet paper up to our room. For comparison, I had a much better overall experience at the Hampton Inn in Bend, where the service felt more professional and guest-focused. This is the hotel I usually stay at and it's always been a good experience, but this time I wanted an upscale experience since it was over New Years and I love an upscale hotel experience. I travel a lot and this was the worst experience I have had in a long time. The whole stay was very disappointing from the time we checked in, to our dining experience at their restaurant (they gave us a salad with croutons so hard they almost broke our tooth), clear up to the point we checked out. The rooms may be nice, but customer service matters more--and that's where this stay fell short.

It's just a little bit away from the downtown scene in Bend in an area that is being revitalized. I love the branding all over the hotel. They warm, brown and orange colors and all of the thoughtful touches and decor really made it stand out and feel super inviting. We enjoyed our five nights stay there very much. When we first checked in, I was a little disappointed that we were not in the main building. We were in a second building that was kind of across the street and the common area around it isn't quite as cute. It ended up being a good thing because the hotel pool and the Fire Pit area are super popular and it gets quite lively out there in the evenings. I appreciated being a little bit away from that because our room was so quiet. The people that work at the hotel are great, really friendly and helpful. We had a great time at the pool, I went every day! On Sunday, they have a big pool party and it seems like there are people from town that come because most of the people were checking out of the hotel that morning. They had a couple DJs, we went and enjoyed the music and the scene and had a blast. They have a bar area that opens in the afternoon that serves all sorts of cocktails but also they have nonalcoholic and CBD drinks available. They have a burrito, food truck and a coffee food truck in the parking lot Tuesdays through Saturdays and both of them were awesome. I wanted to give the hotel five stars but there are a couple things they could work on. First of all, the shower pressure was excellent and I liked how high the showerhead was, but the showerhead was in a fixed position. Every single time I showered there I would get blasted with cold water intermittently during the shower. With the showerhead, not being movable, there was no way for me to get out of the cold water stream. I just had to handle it until it got warm again or get out of the shower. I have a ton of hair so I can't just get out of the shower in the middle of washing my hair, that stuff has got to get rinsed out. Secondly, I appreciate that they don't clean the room every day. That seems like a waste to me. They told me at the front desk to let them know if there was a day I'd like to get my room cleaned before 11 AM that morning. So on Sunday morning at 8:15 AM I walked over to the front desk to ask to have our room cleaned that day and was told that because there were so many checkouts that they can't clean my room that day but would clean it the next day instead. Well, the next day was one day before we were leaving so it didn't really make sense. Also, our trash cans were running over, we were out of toilet paper and we needed new towels. So I ended up getting trash bags, towels, and toilet paper from reception and bringing them back to the room and then bagging up all of our trash and putting it outside the room. It wasn't the end of the world, but if they weren't available to do the room on a specific day, it would've been nice to get a heads up. We could've gotten it done the day before. Lastly, as much as I liked the aesthetic of the room, the bedframe is oversized and juts out just a little bit. It's dark brown, and the room is kind of dimly lit (nice aesthetic). I smacked both of my knees on that bedframe on different days and my man also smacked his knees on it. I took a photo of my knee next to the bedframe and you can see that the material of the frame is worn in that spot, it looks like a lot of people smack items or their body parts on it. They need to put a little cushion protection on that thing!

I'm actually sad to say…read morethat I only had one night here as I really loved the vibe of the place and would have loved to spend more time at the hotel. I knew of the McMenamins line of hotels due to a friend who had taken me to their Edgefield property when I was visiting. They had described the place as an adult Disneyland and that's a pretty good description for it. It had so many things going on above and beyond the hotel itself. So, when I saw that there was a McMenamins in Bend, OR I decided to try it out. It was a little hard to figure out where the main entrance was as I arrived in town when it was dark out. I managed to find a parking spot quickly, but I noticed as the evening went on it was packed with cars. The hotel is located on a corner toward the end of the downtown area and it's an easy, well lit walk to shops and restaurants. But, there are so many options to eat and drink at the hotel that you don't need to leave if you don't want to. The main part of the hotel where you check in has a rustic look to it. I hadn't made reservations as I was trying to see how far I could get toward home before stopping. It was a Sunday night and thankfully they had an opening. The two people at the front desk were very nice and helpful and I was able to get a room in the main building. As a solo, female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable not only in the hotel but in the town as well. I also found out that not only do they accept dogs, but they accept large dogs. And the bartender I spoke with said the town is very dog friendly. Although my dog wasn't with me on this trip I would love to return with him. My room was a decent size. It had a lot of different lighting options so it could have been very bright in there if I preferred or I could keep it more dimly lit. They make their own coffee, so they had four packets of coffee out (two with caffeine and two decaffeinated), a small coffee maker and some cream and sugars. I happened to get a room that was ADA compliant, so the bathroom was huge with a large walk/roll in shower. It was a lot of white tile and it was spotless. I was so tired and the room was so comfortable I would have been happy just staying in all evening. The grounds have several bars, a hidden speakeasy, a movie theater and a restaurant. So, if you decided to stay at the hotel then you would have plenty to keep you occupied. The patios had tons of heaters, so it was still pleasant to sit outside on a cold night. I was right next to the lobby, so I was a little worried it would be loud and it wasn't. I was also right next to where they set out a coffee station in the morning, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable and I couldn't have asked for more. I definitely plan on returning and staying longer, so I can take advantage of all the amenities they have to offer.

While this inn has some nice things about it, namely a good bed and small patio, we found ourselves quite frustrated with the other parts of the stay. We brought our dog along, having checked that they were pet friendly and made arrangements to have the correct room. He is a calm, well trained, adult dog who is used to stayed in hotel rooms since we have spent a lot of time on the road. I , as always, read into their policies as available through Expedia and their website and found there would be no reason to expect anything different from our standard experience with other hotels. However, during check inn the women at the front desk asked what I was going to do with our pup while we are at the concert. Confused by this, she explained to me that their policy is not to allow dogs to be unattended in the room. She asked if I was going to leave him in the car (it is early September, and the heat would - as we know- make this extremely dangerous and possibly lethal for my pup). She additionally admitted that it would be hard to find that they hold this policy by simply looking through their website. In fact, the pet policies do NOT state that the pets are not allowed to be left in the room. Assuming we would have to cancel our plans for the night as to not have to leave him, we were extremely disappointed. Luckily, I was able to drive 45 minutes out of town to bring him to a family friends house until after the concert. This being said, this is not standard and is not conducive to being a "pet friendly" hotel if patrons are not able to leave their dog while going to dinner or an other activity. I even asked if we would be able to crate him and he could wear his e-collar (used for off leash work on our farm, but will guarantee he will not bark) which was declined. The women at the front desk was always kind, but unconcerned as to how this affected us and that we were not properly notified of the policy (nor would any other customer be). If we did not have family outside of town, we would have had to find somewhere else to stay or cancel our plans for the night. This policy needs to be made clear at booking. Besides for this, we were unimpressed with our room as it had a notable unpleasant smell when we walked in and had more than 10 bugs in the bathroom at all times. Including dead ones on the counter. The air in the room did not work, which especially frustrating during wildfire season as having a cool breeze come in is not an option when the air quality is extremely dangerous due to the smoke. Save your money and simply stay at the Hampton inn or one of the other places in town.
