I was not expecting to be treated with such amazing customer service and Kimberly did an amazing job on my nails!

Waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. And did not receive the nails I requested nor the shape, they complained about the nail polish type I wanted and said that I chose a difficult one after completing. Every nail was a different shape and did not match the shape requested. I will not be returning read more

Stay away! Quite rude and know it alls . I had a fill 2 Days ago and half of my nails are chipping. Kim said to come in and she would fix them. According to Kim, it's my fault because my nails are too thin and I need a new full set. My set is fairly new and they got thinner after she filed the old acrylic too thin. I was charged $30 for the fill..... I normally get charged $22. I've had my own salon, and have had nails for 25 years and ever have had this happen. She argued , I left. Btw.... I have never ever left a review anywhere , so this was important to me. read more

Worst experience I have ever had with a nail appointment came in just for a fill and they turned out all different sizes and a completely different shape I started out with. Also had to pay 45$ for a fill and they ended up looking horrible. She removed one of my nails because she said it broke when she was drilling it and she replaced it for another 5$. That nail ended up sticking straight up. Wish I could get my money back! Also took 2 hours for a fill!!!! read more

Stunningly rude. No idea what I did or did not do, but never again. $30 for the sloppiest manicure I've ever had. Gel polish on my skin. Nails uneven and concave at the tips. Just wow. Could not wait to get out of there. read more

Kim squeezed me in for a full set of gel nails. They look beautiful! I appreciate her attention to detail. Everyone else in their salon was very kind, as well. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars!! Honestly the worst nail salon I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I are here visiting so we decided to check this place out, we sat in the chair for over an hour and a half waiting, and then when someone finally came over, they did my whole pedicure while my boyfriend just sat there! The point is to have both of us done at the same time. I would have never gotten one if I knew that would have been the case. Then an older woman came over to do my boyfriends pedicure, she did about MAYBE 10 minutes of services, which were SUB PAR, and said ok you're done. He has very rough feet and she didn't even LOOK at them. She trimmed his toes and that's about it, not even a decent foot massage. They charged us $70 for shitty service. DO NOT COME HERE!! A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. The owner is also extremely rude to her employees and customers. This place needs to not be in business!! I can't begin to explain how upset I am about spending $75 for this. Wish we could get our money back. read more

She did an ok job on my nails, the acrylic was put too close to my cuticles and so when she was drilling cut into my cuticles. They were sore for two days. They are all now peeling back and look horrible. The acrylic is also bumped up at the cuticle and looks funny as they are growing out. They also do not accept cards so I had to use their ATM and got charged an extra 2.50. read more

The service was okay. My friend and I decided to get our nails done for homecoming, we both got gel nails. Immediately after we were done I quickly realized out bump and uneven my nails were. I am very unsatisfied. read more

Unprofessional run business. None have then are certified or even know what they are doing. No one talks to you or helps you with anything. The women who runs the place is extremely rude. He warned she may call you a "bitch" as she did to me. I had to leave and find a new place after waiting three hours and then being yelled at in front of everyone and called names by the woman who runs this place. Very unprofessional and dirty establishment. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

Worst experience there today. The manager was a rude bit** to me today. She started yelling in my face and told me to leave because my sister asked what she got charged extra for. She wanted to make sure what she was paying for. A paying customer has the right to ask what they are being charged for. The manager also said men's feet are an extra 5.00 because they're yucky feet. Well guess what, the man that was there had clean feet and better than most women. Never going there again. If a manager yells face to face at me in my face when I didn't say anything to her she is damn lucky she didn't get decked. She didn't let my polish dry and was telling me to get my shoes on and get out now. I told her when I am done I will gladly leave. They seriously need a new manager. read more

This place is pathetic, truly wish places like this would be shut down. Rude employees, horrible service for a shitty product at an overpriced rate. At one point they had about 12 customers and 3 employees, a horrible ratio which makes for terrible service. If i could give 0 stars i would, I wish everyone would read these reviews before they go. Don't waste your time at this shit hole. read more

I was so surprised to look on here and see so many negative reviews. I've been getting acrylic nails with gel polish here for over a year. They have almost always been able to get me in the same day I call. My nails look great and always last easily 3 weeks. Lily and Kim are incredibly hard working ladies that keep the place running. I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Love LOVE the people and treatment of Elegant Nails! Kim and staff turned this into a relaxing place where services are simply top notch. Thank you Elegant Nails! read more

Unsanitary!!! They were nice, and I understand the cultural differences that would make them seem too direct, even "rude" to Americans. But the state of Oregon has very valid laws regarding sanitation in nail salons, and they did not seem to follow them. When the woman got the clippers out to start trimming my cuticles there was a clump of someone else's cuticles in the clippers still! That alone was worth only 1 star, and possibly a call to the Oregon Board of Cosmetology. They also did not ask my what shape or length I wanted my nails and did not make them even. So all my nails are different lengths and shapes read more

Scheduled wedding party mani-pedis here last week. Because we had appointments, we got right in. I'm not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. Maybe it's because these Asian nail places are a dime a dozen in Portland and up here you know you are getting a decent service at a moderate price. If you want a spa, go to a spa and pay double. A week later, both my shellac manicure and regular pedicure look good. We did get the hard sell for upgrades many times and we just nicely said no. These types of places don't offer anything for free. If they offer you scented bath scrub, you'll pay for it. If they offer a flower detail, you'll pay for it. They'll ask you if you want your brows waxed. If you do, great, you'll pay for it. If you don't, just say no. They place was clean and pleasant. The ladies seemed to be treated well. The music ranged from techno to Christmas. But I had a good time with my bridesmaids and was happy at the end of the appointment. read more

Visiting from out of town, wanted to get nails done & noticed this salon right across the street from our motel room so thought I'd try it...WORST experience ever!!! Was told to have a seat in one of the chairs by Lily & she said as soon as she was done w/her customer @ the time she'd be right w/me, I waited patiently but while I was sitting there to get nails done, 2 other techs were done w/their clients & weren't doing anything, why couldn't they have helped me?! Meanwhile as I was sitting there other ppl came in that were like me & didn't have appt's but they got service before I did, remind you I'm now @ 1hr of wait time!! She was very rough doing my nails & VERY unprofessional!! Not to mention VERY HIGH priced...very money driven! I will NEVER go back!! Also salon was filthy!!!! read more

My daughter (who is 10) and I went to this nail salon for a pedicure. We had an appointment and waited 30 minutes. The charge was $90 + tip! The woman who was taking my payment was not happy that i was not paying with cash. Unbelievable! read more

This place is close to the house and my guy and I were in desperate need of some foot care, so we chanced this place despite the poor reviews. I'm not at all sure why there are the bad reviews. It's a fairly typical Asian nail salon, except that the staff is super friendly. The chairs are comfy, the color selection is deep, the massage that came with our pedicures was awesome! We really enjoyed our experience, and I am sure we will be back. read more

This nail salon is decorated nicely and some of the staff are very friendly. I got the upgraded pedicure with salts in the water. The quality of my pedicure was terrible. I walked out of there feeling like I just got a polish change for $30. read more

Made and appointment for my daughter, grand daughter and I . I have moved to Bend from Portland, Oregon and wanted to find a good nail service close to home. We were scheduled but greeted and if we had not. The facility was understaffed. Kim was nice but running her head off. She kept adding people to the stations but there were not enough people to work them. Plus she did all the wax walk ins. It was one of the worst experiences I have had in a nail salon. Prices were pretty high for the slap dash services we got. Lily was very rough my hands were bleeding and we got out of there as fast as we could. She talked on the phone and coughed in my face. I hope they sterilize their stuff but considering how disorganized it was I am just praying I don't get HEP B or C. read more

It was not a wonderful experience at this shop. You could quickly tell who the"favorite" or "past customer's " we're. Because the owner would spend quality time with them. Or else it was slam bam I'm done and moving on to someone she knew. When I left my nails were so rough I had to file off all the edges that were catching on my clothes. Not sure I will ever come back! read more

I have been going to Elegant Nails for years.I have tryed other place in town but no one is as nice or sweet as the guys at elegant nails. I am a homemade so I am always cleaning and my nails dont broken, lifting they always look like great. I have had friends try to get me to go to other places cause they just opened so they have good deals but I always get bad nails and end up back at Elegant Nails. They also treat my kids like family so its nice when I have to take my kids with me. read more

Too bad, years of coming here and all went to shit with one bad experience. Wanted a specific color and Kim, I think the owners wife, gave me the WORST attitude. I walked out. read more

Worst shellac mani in town! Terrible customer service! Went in and the guy did such a messy job painting then didn't let the polish cure long enough, then sprayed my hands with alcohol and said your done! I asked if I could have some cuticle oil and he said "why, do you want them more shinny"? I said "no, just really dry from the alcohol" he looked at me like I was crazy! 3 dsys later they are all peeling off! read more

I'm not sure why this place isn't receiving 5 star reviews--I love it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure the experience was pleasant. I would definitely return and recommend Elegant Nails to others. Ps. The wine was very complimentary to the pedicure. read more

I was very disappointed with my whole experience at Elegant Nails. The owner was incredibly rude upon arrival. The young man who performed my service was just going through the motions. Didn't talk nor did he stick around for me to pay for my service. I would never have any service done at this business, not ever. read more

Horrible, horrible service. I came here for a simple manicure and have paint all over my hands and fingers. The women I had was very forceful and got very angry with me when I had asked for her to cut my nails shorter. I am only seventeen and they definitely took advantage of that, I was still a paying costumer just like everyone else there. In the previous times I had went there with an adult service was fine, but when is was just a friend and I we were treated like children. The whole experience was very unsettling and I would not recommend. read more

Elegant Nails seems to be one of the more popular shops in Bend for getting acrylic nails. They do an excellent job. Keit and Lily are two nail techs that I've heard great things about. I've gotten acrylics there just once and the owner did them for me. He did a great job. Wasn't extremely professional (talked with other technicians while doing my nails, swore a few times) but was friendly. I've asked many people where they get their gorgeous nails done and their answer is usually Elegant Nails. The salon is well decorated and the prices are very reasonable. read more

not what i asked for at all. the nails are amazing quality and it was a great experience but it was not even close to what i wanted. i showed inspo photos and told her but was still not what i wanted. $55 for just acrylic. not even cut cuticles. read more

Terrible experience! I have given them 4 chances. When you have an apt it means nothing. I waited 1.40 min for my manicure. With an apt. Kim is rude and defensive. Don't waste your time! Apt mean nothing here! read more

I got a pedicure here because it's close to my house. I read the bad reviews but also figured I could advocate for myself and get a decent pedicure. That's definitely what needed to happen. I had to ask for them to file my nails. I had to ask to get the dry skin scrubbed off and I had to point out that I requested a delux plus which states that it comes with a massage (it doesn't). Overall it was a pretty bad experience... 3 people switched off to do different things. At the end I still had dead skin around my cuticle area and the polish was all over my toes. Also, I was waiting for my toes to dry and the guy says to me "you're done, pay and go". I understand language barrier but they couldn't even let me sit for 5 minutes to dry the polish?? I sat in my car waiting for them to dry. Beyond disappointing for a $36 pedicure. The deluxe plus is $35 but they charge $1 for the file they have to use on you. read more

I've had some pretty bad manicures, but this place did by far the worst job. It started with me calling to ask if they had availability for walk-ins, and the lady on the phone said that they had walk-ins all day long. So I was expecting to be able to relax and unwind and take my time, but nope--not today. I ended up arguing with my manicurist the whole time and the manicurist next to him, and I asked about five different times for him to cover the tips of my nails with the polish, and then there was polish spilling off of my nails and onto my skin and he very obviously saw the mistake, realized the polish couldn't just be wiped away because it was dry, and was going to leave my nail that way until I asked him to then fix it, and that's when the manicurist next to us came over, snatched my hand, and told me that it was just the shape of my nail that made the polish spill out and that it wasn't his fault, when it definitely was. And, when I walked in the door, it looked like my manicurist was being trained and he looked like he had no idea what he was doing the whole time. It was a rushed job from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, and if I could write a review and give this establishment zero stars, I would. I should not have had to pay for this service, because if I wanted to have a messy nailpolish job, I could have just done it myself instead of paying the $35 I did. The gel manicure was $30, and I tipped $5. Never going here again, except to ask for my refund. Rude from the start to finish, rushed, and terrible polish job. read more

Just read other reviews below. Any small business shouldn't have this many bad reviews. Its not that hard to be good or great when you are a smaller business and have the time to attend to each customer. Besides that fact this is a "tending to pampering needs" type of business. Walked in with no appointment around noon. Greeted by the owner with a huge sigh and a glance at the clock. If she had appointments coming up she could have said "sorry we can't take a walk in right now can we schedule you. Instead she spoke in a different language to an employee. After a little back and forth she said "ok sit in chair". Which began the worst pedicure I have ever had. Along with a rushed pedicure (probably the fastest I have ever received), a pretty bad massage, and not all the treatments given that were on the list of extras I paid for I experienced something like never before. Let me set the tone. I personally like to sit back and relax in the massage chair sometimes close my eyes and drift off for that brief period of time away from work, away from worries, away from distractions. Isn't that part of the experience we pay for? Well part way through my pedi a door-to-door sales woman came in and pitched sales to the owner (who was still up towards the front of the business and should have stopped the sales woman there.) Then proceeded to come all the way to the pedi area and offer products to the tech working on my pedi. What in the world? The tech stopped what she was doing, got up and walked away to go discuss the items being sold. After a few minutes the sales woman went outside to her car, got whatever was being sold came back in and sold things to my tech. What in the world is going on here? Again, small business. So you mean to tell me this sales woman who has some sort of small business, who should understand the exact definition of customer care, is going to interrupt a relaxing moment for another small business patron? It is beyond me how so many people failed here. The owner first and foremost for letting this sales woman even breach the lobby. My tech for engaging in complete nonsense when she is in the middle of services a paying client. And the sales woman who has the audacity to put herself and her gimmicks above others. Bottom line, I'm just bummed. I feel like I was robbed because I was. Of time, of treatments I paid for, and frankly of respect. It's really too bad in a smaller town that prides itself on being nice and supporting local that above all else respect of a customer is so low on the list. If I could stand outside all day and share my experience with people before they walk in I would. Its not just about me and my bad experience. Look below my review. Review after review after review about how this place does not care about their customers. Please understand that respect is priceless. The $25-$85 you make on a client is gone before you know it. But how you treat someone can last a long long time. read more

Very disappointed in the treatment I received here. They acted like it was a chore to help us. We paid for deluxe pedicure and it was the quickest worst massage ever. It was all very rushed. Our specialist kept walking away to speak to a solicitor selling essential oils. It made it impossible to even relax. I won't be back, ever. read more

My sister who is visiting from Australia took me for a manicure while she had a gel mani/pedi. When we got home she realized that she had given $150 instead of $105 for her $90 bill. To her the currency being all the same color is confusing. We called the salon back and was told to return. We did and were shown a $100 and $5 bill and was told 'no $50 bill in jar'. She said she should have paid more attention to why he asked her several times did she want change. Oh well lesson learned. Next time I'll help her pay though it won't be at Elegant Nails. read more

As much as I like Lisa who usually does my nails, the owner is as rude and dishonest as you can get. She is the only one to make appointments. Several months ago called to make an appt with Lisa. The owner set it all up. When I showed up, Lisa was not there. She was in Vietnam on vacation and had been in Vietnam for weeks and was going to be there for several more. After several other run-ins with the owner when trying to make simple appts... I've given up. I won't go back. read more

I called to make appointments when I got there and told the "lady" at the desk that we had arrived she looked at me like I was an idiot and told me it would be at least a half an hour.
