I just came back from there and she charged me 130 Dollars for a Mani and Pedicure without explainining to me in detail why it is so incredibly high. Also, she shows NO RESPECT to customers. My girlfriend wen in to get her nails and toes done for photos. She walked in with an image of exactly what she wanted and they refused to do them. Charged her an extra $15 for some swiggly lines that looked nothing like she asked for stating it was close enough and she should be grateful. Her toes were smudged and when commented upon they yelled at her for being difficult. She didn't even make it home before the polish was chipping off. Only finished three nails on a hand and then told her they were out of time. No massaging, no wax treatment, none of the manicure/ pedicure part she was charged over $100 for! Just a crappy paint job that has almost completely peeled off within 2 hours. I would not send my worst enemy to this place, let alone someone I care about. I wish I could do 0 stars. Kimberly, is so rude and unprofessional. She made the biggest fuss about fixing a nail I had broke and came in to fix everywhere else was booked up and over filled- this place was my last resort. She not only brought three of her staff members to come over and "look how bad my hands looked" but she shamed me the whole time while making a five minute fix into 30 minutes because she decided to let her unprofessional ego come in the way. My boyfriend came in to pay as I did not have my debit card on me and I purposefully texted him saying "no tip" because that was 1. Wrong how a business owner treats her "clients" 2. Not worth the drive 3. An awful experience. When I was 18, her mother who also works there yelled at me and made me cry as I was getting birthday nails done. I had said all white nails and she did a French tip- bless her heart but she did not speak any English and didn't understand what I was trying to say, got the whole salon involved and it was the worst birthday nails/experience of my life. I was worried to come here because of the rating but it was the only place that could get me in at the last minute. Overall, I think it was a solid gel manicure. They put a third coat on because I had a bright color which i appreciated because a lot of nail salons won't do that and then it ends up looking splotchy. CASH ONLY!! Not a good business concept. Needs to be updated and clean. They don't have plastic covers on the pedicure machines and the attendants don't wear gloves. The whole place looks dusty and unsanitary. None of their equipment came individually wrap as it is the norm in other places. I have no idea how they sanitize their nail equipment. My nails came out ok but not worth the price or service :( My friend asked for water and they didn't have any. This could be a great place if they remodel and update their equipment. I've been coming here for years! Elegant Nails is the best! The staff is SO NICE and the owner, Kim, is an absolute doll. I saw in another review that this is a cash only business - that isn't true. I've paid with cash, checks, and a card - plus there's an ATM in the shop. I also read in the same review that they don't have water in the shop. When I'm there, they offer me water, wine, and coffee. People need to get their facts straight before they start rattling off crappy reviews. I get pedicures here and Kim does my fingernails with a powder dip that lasts up to 3 weeks. I get compliments on my nails EVERY DAY - they look so good. I highly recommend this place. read more

I went with a friend who loves this place. We were able to get walk in service which is pretty rare in bend. My service person seemed annoyed and unhappy to be working on me or anyone but my friends guy was super friendly and seemed to really care about her feet. The owner talked me out of my usual gel and told me to get a dip. I asked questions "will this look natural? I have to have natural nails" and she assured me yes. After a few dips I stressed concern at the color and that it looked pretty bad, like my niece painted my nails. She pushed my guy aside and did two of the nails. It looked less sloppy but did not look natural. It looked like I had acrylic nails. She kept trying to tell me it looked good but eventually I pushed and they took it off and gave me what I originally asked for. Made for a very long appointment (and my guy got crankier and did not do the hand massage) but my nails do look good and just like I like them (he tried to do only 1 coat so I had to ask for a second) it's out of my way so I probably wouldn't go back. If you like getting the foot scrape for callous, this is one of the few that does it. I'd stick to basic polish. read more

Well I wish I could 0 stars. I paid luxury spa prices $61 ($70 with tip) for the worst mani and pedi service I ever had. I believe I was over charged immensely because their price list states $45 for Mani, Pedi Here on Yelp. My cuticles were not cut, my feet were "scrubbed" for 2 minutes with the file, didn't even get the dead skin off. The man who did my service was so aggressive with the nail clippers and file that he was hurting me. My finger nails are rough because he filed them way too hard... I Know nail salons are expensive in Bend compared to NY but this was the biggest rip off for the most horrible service I've ever received. I went only because of convenience... do not make the same mistake, it's not worth it! To top it all off they took my temp before I got my service, typical protocol, but their thermometer definitely isn't working. Said I had 100.4 temp, I checked my temp 2 times with a real thermometer (under the tongue) and it confirmed 98. Wish I could give 0 stars and get refunded at least once he $15 for the overcharge. I called for the 1st appointment of the day. Tom got me in at 10am. I ran a little late and he was not upset at me. I explained my car accident and he said it was ok. The facilities are nice but unfortunately I had a bad experience with the professional. I payed in advance (with tips) and she didn't even clean around my nails (didn't remove the cuticule as well). I asked her if she could clean the extra nail polish but she did such a quick and poor job that my nails still looked totally sloppy when I left. read more

Great service and excellent Covid precautions. We had pedicures and the place was clean and customer service was excellent.

The only reason I can give 2 stars instead of 0 is because the person who did my nails and generously tag teamed to do my mom's nails while the other two people in the salon basically abandoned us was awesome. Lol. The nails themselves look great, but my aunt and mom waited almost an hour for someone to come start on them while the lady who booked us and was supposed to do my aunt's feet disappeared for extended periods of time every few minutes. There was another guy in the salon who took a walk-in while my poor mom had been waiting forever (we had reserved a time!) so the lady assigned to me had to do both of us at the same time. The lady who booked us even kept answering the phone and agreeing to walk ins even though there were only 3 staff and there were already several people waiting for service. Ugh. Don't overbook and then make people who reserve a time wait. Bad business. Great skill with not so great time management or consideration for customers. read more

Waited 30+ minutes from my appointment time. She did guide me to a massage chair, so it was nice to wait on one of those. Luckily I didn't have anywhere to be so I didn't mind waiting, but for people who make appointments for a reason, I'd give yourself more time.. I felt like she rushed through my nails. They look fine but they could have been more even and I probably wouldn't have got a cut on my pinky if she took her time. Amazing. Kim is the best, as are everyone else here. They definitely take longer than other shops I've been to, but it's so worth it for the quality. Really bummed out with my experience. After coming in for a standard fill, she insisted I get gel over my acrylic. This hasn't worked well in the past, but she assured me that it would. Forty minutes later, still soaking. Washed hands. She will be with me in 5 minutes. Sat for another 20 minutes waiting to get nails done. I absolutely love this place! I have been going here since I was 8 and have received amazing service every time. The people are so kind and funny, even when the place is slammed. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but if you make a reservation they are sure to get you in. My nails always look clean, beautiful, and the polish lasts for a good while. Hello! So hmmm have a prom tonight so my bestest friend and I decided "les get our nails done?!" We chose elegant nails because they are close, and we sat down to pick out our colors and they ask us to sit down nearly 3 minutes after either of us could figure out what color we'd like, and my friend got her nails done although the lady didn't even file, or buff her nails! And when she finished her pinky nail was rough and so we complained and the lady for the most part fixed it, but then we realized as we left the salon our nails were so even it was crazy, like it's a noticeable amount from maybe 2-3 feet away you can tell that they are uneven. read more
