This place is awful. Staff is incredibly rude and inhospitable. Located in a very busy part of town- the Patagonia retail store is next door, for context. Parking is difficult and expensive. I made an appointment an hour in advance. Instead of telling me they were too busy, they had me arrive, treated me poorly, and couldn't fit me in for the appointment so I can't even comment on the quality of the service. Amazing nail salon in downtown Bend! I've gotten a pedicure here YEARS ago when I used to live here and just got a manicure while visiting. Although I haven't been in so long, the quality remains intact and I had a great experience and manicure! My nails were in terrible shape from a bad dip manicure. I called Friday evening and they were able to squeeze me in and make my nails look amazing again! The whole process was about 20-30 min including polish removal and my artist even helped me pick out a color based on what I wanted. Price is pretty comparable to other salons and it is worth every penny. Keep in mind you need to buy you file in Oregon ($2) and I think they also add a processing fee for cards ($2) so pay with cash if you can. read more

My provider is Chi and she is one of the best in Bend, bar none. I've been a resident nail client for 25 years here and have visited many of the salons. My last really great provider moved to AZ, and I've been at a loss ever since. I went to KS Nails but got discouraged because of the parking and polish quality. The best providers in Bend are not taking new clients. So I shopped around and was pretty horrified at how many people are doing nails and have no idea of what makes a pleasing finished product. Ridges, bumps, raised edges, no symmetry in the 10 nails, thick, poorly attached - oh my. I solved the KS challenge - schedule at a low volume time of day, bring my own CND Shellac Polish. Dump it all in the lap of Chi and you'll be very happy with the finished product, well, over the moon is more like it. I can't stop looking at my nails. read more

We are traveling and in Bend for a few days. I made an appointment and the young lady who did my pedicure was excellent. I did the $45 pedicure which included a fairly long leg/foot massage, a mud mask on my legs and a paraffin wax on my feet. I paid extra for a gel polish which dries much faster and lasts longer. She did an excellent job with the pedicure and polish etc. She even put my socks and shoes back on me which was very nice. The warm foot bath was soothing. They do charge one dollar for the file package because they don't want to keep using the same ones over on every person. I didn't mind. I was very satisfied. It all took about an hour and fifteen minutes. read more

I used to love this place. But the service has gone downhill. Julie has been great. But there's one older lady I've gotten a few times who rushes, is rough, always puts the polish on too thick and it it turns into chunks and peels off. Today I ended up with her and it was the most painful pedi I've ever had. She literally stabbed my big toe with her sharp tool. I looked to make sure it wasn't bleeding. I wish I had walked out at that point because the rest of the pedi was very uncomfortable. I also waited 30 minutes after my appointment time before she even started and I sat patiently and said nothing. But I got bored and started painting my nails while waiting. When I left the guy at the desk scolded me loudly in front of a bunch of workers and clients for painting my nails without asking permission. I said oh I'm sorry I was getting bored waiting and he said "you have made us wait also". Ok, yes, I have been 5 or 10 minutes late a couple of times but He was very rude and made a point to try and embarrass me in front of everyone. 30 minutes is not 10 minutes. I was doing online banking, paying bills, and answering work texts while waiting - which is an efficient way to pass the time but I was there for a pedi which should be fun and relaxing. After coming to this place regularly, sometimes every 2 weeks, for 4 years and tipping 20% this is not the kind of customer service anyone deserves. I will not be back there to pay $35 for a painful pedi and peeling polish and horrible treatment. read more

Very expensive for poor quality. Had dip manicure and it's already chipping after a week. (Dip should be the longest lasting , hence most expensive .) One nail's polish sits so high compared to rest. No massage or extra treatment you usually get. Didn't know I had to bring my own nail file. Also a little rude. This was for my wedding, very disappointing. read more

This was the best mani/pedi I've ever had!! They got me in for a next day appointment after 2 places refused to accept new clients. They did my pedicure and let me relax, then did my nails halfway through all while in the massage pedicure chair. I have never felt more pampered in my life! My nails turned out super cute, very very well done, and they paid attention to clean and care for the nail. They gave great massages and the prices were amazing. I'm in Bend visiting from out of state and it was time to remove my festive Christmas red glitter and get cleaned up for the New Year. After reading the glowing reviews I called and made an appointment for a powder dip and pedicure with Wilson and a pedicure for my husband. I don't know the name and of the woman who did my husband's pedicure, but he said it may be the best he's ever had! Wilson did my nails (powder dip, French) and I couldn't be happier! Perfect shape, smooth, not too thick. The atmosphere in the salon as very upbeat and friendly! They offered water, tea or wine and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Ripped my nails apart while removing my gel polish, it took them 30 minutes and they charged me double due to their own negligence. They have only just grown to repairable 2 months later but they are still ridgid and I don't think they'll bd healthy again for a long time because of this salon. read more

My regular salon was booked out for a month so I went here, and I really wish I hadn't. They removed my gel nail polish carelessly, which unfortunately ripped off layers of my natural nails. I have been growing my nails out, and had to cut them short due to the damage. I learned my lesson... I wish I would have waited the month to get in with my nail tech that cares about the health of my nails. read more
