This is my first time to Crescent nails in years. I went for a girls day for pedicures. The whole experience was extremely rushed. $60 for a 25 minute pedicure is ridiculous. Because they were rushing two out of 4 of us ended up with large cuts on our toes which still hurt days later. They said nothing when they cut us , they just sprayed alcohol on it which burned. The nail tech that I had was in such a hurry he didn't put a top coat on my toes so I had to ask for it and then they blamed me and told me it's " because I moved my foot" in the light. What? Also the gel polish is very thin and you can see through, they should have done a third coat. Definitely will not be back unfortunately. read more

They said they were getting a bunch of brand new pedicure massage chairs and upgrading a bunch of things so may be different next time I go, but in a good way! I did regular gel nails and although the color was more red then the darker burgundy wine color I picked they turned out great. Nice a clean, good cuticle clean up. Awful pedicure experience. First, they demand cash only on Sundays. Weird. The pedicure was lackluster and $53. The polish was watered down which is AWFUL for gel polish. It was discolored and see through in some places. Then about 2 weeks later the GEL (yes, gel!) polish started flaking off which has never happened to me before. Would not recommend. read more

I used to go out of my way to get pedicures here when working in the Bend area--this was my favorite spot. Unfortunately, today I had the worst pedicure I've ever received. The technician skipped key services that were supposed to be included: no scrub, no massage, and no attention to calluses or dead skin removal. Yet, I was still charged full price. While I appreciate that they accept walk-ins even when busy, it's disappointing that the quality of service suffers as a result. If you're not going to provide the full experience that's advertised, customers shouldn't be expected to pay full price. I'm really sad to say I won't be returning. read more

Don't bother making an appointment. You'll wait 30-50 minutes after your appointment time before anyone can see you. This has happened every time I have come. Parking is near impossible (you'll likely have to park at Safeway and run across traffic) and my manicures rarely hold up more than two days. I've been to several salons in bend, all of which have better service in terms of wait times and adhering to appointments but this place has the nicest interior. The best pedicure is by Trader Joe's, they actually remove callus! I will say an eyebrow wax here is always well done and affordable. read more

There are so many good technicians, and one of my favorite gals is Cindy who is lovely to chat with and does such a thorough job at removing cuticles and shaping nails. really the last thing that i want to do is post a picture of my toes on the internet, but in this situation it feels necessary lol. i had a hard time finding a salon in redmond that looked like somewhere i'd want to go, on top of that i was trying to make a same day appointment so i ended up coming here somewhat by default as it was the top recommendation for nail salons in bend. that being said, im not sure why it's the top recommendation. some of the other salons around here looked better, but crescent is where i was able to make a same day appointment so i figured why not try it. needless to say, i will probably not be returning. the staff was friendly, especially the girl that got me checked in, but i wasn't really impressed with the pedicure. the massage kind of hurt which made it probably the least relaxing pedicure i've ever had. and the paint job honestly looks like i could have done it myself. the place itself was nice, and i'm sure that other people have had better experiences with other nail techs there, but personally i would definitely try some other places before returning here to try again. read more

At one point, between talking to his colleague in Vietnamese, he had the audacity to tell my group to speak in English only. No he wasn't joking, no it wasn't a misunderstanding, just rude. I'm shocked that he is working here and not shoveling turd on a farm somewhere. Even that would be too dignified for this guy. He got furious when my wife tried to say black and pointed to what she thought was black in their little binder. He even started to glare at her before I had to speak up and let him know he was starting to get close to crossing a line and I wasn't going to take much more. The manager had to come over to calm him down. He was very curt, short tempered and spent most of the time obviously gossiping with his wing woman. This was an experience you see in a cheesy movie where they over act and seem comically stupid. Except this was reality! Save yourself a trip and go any where else, better yet do it your self. Instead of saying "Could you please move your hand this way or that way" he would just grab my hands and throw them around like tools. The service was very rushed and quality is nonexistent. The tools he used were very dirty, nail clipper was covered in other peoples nail grimes and powder. Brush was nasty. We were on vacation in Bend and I needed a quick mani. The service was prompt to get me in, that was great. When I arrived there was a misunderstanding of who was going to do my nails and another customer was upset that someone sat down with me. The tech quickly left me sitting without an explanation and started working on the other woman's nails. I sat there for a while until another tech came, didn't say a word to me the entire time and did the worst manicure I've ever had. My nails are cracking and the shape is jagged. I think I arrived in the same condition I left in. On top of that this place is a mess. It truly takes alot for me to write a negative review, but I feel compelled to do so re: crescent nails. we are seasonal bend residents, so while i don't go to this salon year-round, i do go for a few months at a time (mostly summer). I have always felt the vibe there is rushed. they are always busy (which perhaps speaks to popularity), but my experience has always been uncomfortable. the staff - in particular, the manager (perhaps owner?) is rude, short, and dismissive. Not only was he that way to me, but also to his staff. Add to that, the tech that repaired my nail lectured me on why she is so busy with other clients and that she shouldn't have to do my repair ... all the while her client was saying that it was fine. I told the tech i would paint it myself and put in the gel machine and she gave me the polish and said that would be good. I did. Afterwards, i went to the receptionist (who was lovely and also a recipient of the managers abusive behavior IMO - he shouts at employees), and told her to please tell the manager i would never come back to Crescent nails. They have lost sight of customer service and kindness. Too busy. Too rude. Too dismissive. There are other salons that actually want and need the business, treating clients with respect. read more

The owner asked me if I minded having a guy do my pedicure. As a dude, it isn't my preference but not anything I would cause a fuss about. The problem was this young man clearly had no idea what he was doing and dug one of the tools into my cuticle not only causing significant pain, but a bloody toe that eventually stopped bleeding. One of his co-workers had to show him to how to care for a bloody toe. I should have mentioned this to the owner, my fault. I just paid my tab and didn't leave a tip. When I was leaving from getting them done I noticed 2 nails didn't have an even top coat and got them fixed before I left but then just 3 days later the top coat started to peel off almost all the nails.
