And to my pleasant surprise, LJ's Lil Cafe was right down the street. Had to go with the OG Burrito! Comes with 3 eggs, tater tots, Portuguese Hawaiian sausage, bacon, mixed cheese, and the LJ's sauce. Ah it was so good! From the first bite to the last bite. Everything was cooked perfectly. Flavor in every bite. And I ended up just grabbing a drink from Home Depot. Price: $15.99 They have a couple tables and seats. But they're always taken by the time I get there. My other go to spot to eat a breakfast burrito is on my trunk. So, catch me there. Lol. Service - Really good. They did tell everyone that the burrito would take 25-30 minutes to make. WORTH THE WAIT! They also have a texting system that let's you know when your food is ready. Parking - Not too bad. It's in the parking lot of a Home Depot. So there is a lot of spots. Will I be back? Oh heck yes! My reward for playing some pickleball in the morning is definitely going to be a breakfast burrito from LJ's. Also, cause it basically cancels each other out right? Lol. See you soon LJ's.

I really wanted to like LJ's Lil' Cafe, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience for me…read more First, it can be a little hard to find. It's actually located outside the Home Depot, between the two main entrances, so keep an eye out for the small walk-up window. Since it was our first time here, we asked what they recommended and were told to try the OG Burrito, which comes with eggs, tater tots, Portuguese/Hawaiian sausage, bacon, mixed cheese, and LJ's sauce. It sounded really good on paper. Unfortunately, once I started eating it, I found the burrito surprisingly bland considering everything that was inside. They did give us sauces on the side, but I wasn't a big fan of those either and they didn't really improve the burrito for me. I actually ended up not finishing it, which is pretty unusual for me with a breakfast burrito. The other issue was the price. At $15.99, I expected something that really stood out, especially with so many great breakfast burrito options around Southern California. Nothing was necessarily terrible, and the people working there were helpful when we asked what to order, but overall the food was just mid for me and overpriced for what I got. I left disappointed and probably wouldn't order the OG Burrito again.

The bagel was fresh, airy and delicious.. It had a great flavor without being overdone on the sesame seeds. They toasted it perfectly with the right amount of butter melted into the bagel. During this visit, I ordered the Apple Peach Iced Tea. The homie got the Black Sesame Oat Latte. No complaints on the drinks. I loved mine, and the lady at the register offered to adjust the sweetness level for me if it wasn't up to par. Thankfully, it was right on the money! The Tonkatsu was the sole dish we shared, and we both agreed it was delicious! I've had this dish at other places and more often than not, it is usually greasy since it's fried. This was not the case. I don't even think they use panko breadcrumbs. I'm guessing they use corn flakes, but it WORKS and gives the perfect crisp to the protein! The salad and rice were also a good portion to share if you're not starving. The restaurant is very casual and has a laid back vibe. The inside was full of students studying, and young families so we opted to sit outside in the fresh air. Prices are very reasonable. The establishment is accessible and the service is great! I am going to keep this on my bookmark list. Who knows.. I may end up here again tomorrow! =)

The con is that it's right across the street from the cemetery tho I found it quite peaceful when I was there. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY! I do not recommend ordering from here…read more Staff does not seem to pay attention to order notes and since I ordered via Doordash, Doordash customer service refused to refund anything. I ordered a California Burrito since that what I usually get and its specifically listed not containing any eggs. I left a note about an egg allergy so that they were aware during preparation. But instead of getting the item I ordered, they sent me an egg, hashbrown, and bacon burrito. This is really REALLY dangerous which is a huge shame because the food is good but I no longer feel comfortable ordering food from here if staff is careless and sending out the wrong items and not paying attention to allergy notes.

Every staff member I engaged with was extremely welcoming, but I'm especially writing this review for Chef John. After the server told me one of the items on the menu was not available and tried her best to suggest something similar, Chef John stepped out to clarify exactly what I was hoping for and whipped up something special. While I happily gobbled down some perfectly roasted veggies, fried chicken, and gravy, he even came out to check in. I told him the food really hit the spot and I meant it! Pairing my meal with the boysenberry lemonade really tied it all together.

UPDATE 10/11/2026…read more Had the worst experience today. While the food is still good, I was not a fan of the employee who served me, Jose. Originally when I was seated, I was told my server would be Gladys(Who has always been amazing from previous visits). Unfortunately, she didn't serve me but I got a guy named Jose who was friendly at first but pretty much abandoned me shortly after receiving my meal. I sat for 25 minutes waiting to get my check so I could go meet up with my friends at Scary Farm. If I didn't flag another server to get him, who knows how long I would have waited(Honestly, I could have walked out and Jose wouldn't have noticed.). Once Jose came in and I told him I was waiting for 25 minutes for my check, all he said was sorry and nothing else. Like, he didn't bother to do any guest recovery work of any kind for pretty much abandoning me. The dining experience was pretty bad that I didn't bother to leave a tip. Honestly, Jose shouldn't have bothered to serve me and it should have been Gladys(She did recognize me and did ask me if my order was taken and such). As long as Jose is still there, I'm not going to be eat at this restaurant.

The eggs Benedict were fire. They had an Asian twist with kimchi and other pickled veggies. The meat had a sweet and savory taste. The pancakes were to die for! Between the marshmallow and the cookie crumble so good! Don't even get me started on the presentation. This is a gem! Prices weren't bad, super cute spot and delicious food.
