The last two Galaxy home games my dad and I have stopped to grab some tacos for the parking lot right down the street. The first time it took them over a half hour to make 3 a La carte fish tacos. The next time I called 30 minutes ahead of time thinking it would be ready when we got there. Nope I waited 20 minutes more when I got there. 50 minutes total for 3 tacos! How could it take that long? Oh and the service was terrible too. They clearly didn't want my business. This is the last time I will go there. They need to stop taking to go orders. read more

Walked in and was seated immediately in the bar. The busboy came and gave me menus and chips with salsa. After reviewing the menu I realized that no one had come over and asked for drinks or water - I waited 12 mins and still no one! I walked out and they didn't say a word! I came to eat and have drinks for 5 de Mayo and I got my first Michelada which was good the bartender was awesome , Since it's Cinco de Mayo I kindly asked the Manager Vanessa if she can put Mexican Music because she was playing salsa music ,at first she refused and said No. After i told her it should be what the customers request ,she went to the laptop and put a Mickey Mouse type of playlist that ran for over and over and then another customer asked her to please change it she gave a smirk like laughing at us,or mocking us and said this is Mexican music this is what you guys wanted I am not changing it . I immediately closed my tab and so did other customers from the bar section and we left . We are paying customers and she treated us like she was doing us a favor,there is many more pescador restaurants and more Mexican restaurants to compete . Can't say I'm super impressed. The service wasn't as bad as other reviews, but I was annoyed that my food came out and sat right next to me while the waiter went, got food for the table next to OSS, served them, then served us. My fajitas were still hot, but the beans and rice were just luke-warm & cold by then. I would've complained, but I didn't care for the rice anyway,. So that brings me to the good, which was just okay for me. I was scared off from ordering the chile relleno because of other reviews and fear of it being frozen so I went with just steak fajitas to keep it safe. The fajitas were bland. The peppers had a decent char, but that was about it. Nothing really more eventful to say than that, unfortunately. I'm only visiting LA, but I'd bet there are a than dozens of better Mexican restaurants to go to. read more

Well 1st off I was not comfortable at how this semi wide body man came and said I can't sit around bar. I was meeting a friend there and he was sitting around bar right along with about 5 to 6 other people. We asked why he said because their doing construction and you can sit at table over there (which was far from the bar) wow. (Construction ok fine well mo one should sit at the bar then) This Hispanic man was sitting in middle of bar and was looking and said you can sit here (he was trying to make me feel comfortable) the man said no it's too much people. Horrible service. First off, there was no room at the bar for a party of 9, and the outdoor patio was closed. So they sat us in the restaurant area. We asked if they would still honor the happy hour prices for alcoholic drinks and the waitress said no. Although the restaurant side was not busy, it took a while for the her to get our drink orders as well as our food. When we were done, with our food, we continued chatting until a person who wasn't our waitress asked us if we needed anything else. We said no and that's when she told us that there were people waiting to eat dinner. So pretty much, she told us to leave. We thought that was very rude of her. I went to el pescador to celebrate my birthday with my family and I was served by a very nice waitress Vanessa Figueroa who welcomed us with a beautiful smile and a great attitude, it was my first time there and she recommended me to try the mango margarita and guacamole as an appetizer and I am very happy I did because it was delicious, also she recommended us to try the molcajete and this was the best dish we ever had. went for the first time and never going back . service is disgusting and food was not worth the prices . our server CLAUDIA , i guess makes up her own rules and picks who she wants to ask for ID and who she doesnt . my party and i came here and ordered drinks before our meals , she didnt ask for any ID's until i ordered a margarita flight . im 24 so it wasnt a problem that she asked , but when i told her i didnt have my physical ID on me and if a picture would work she said no , that she had to check the physical card " for the cameras " . we cancelled our drink orderes since 3 out of 5 of us only had pictures of our ID's and still ordered food , there was no issues . UNTIL , miss claudia took another tables order and i specifically watched her NOT CHECK ANYONES ID yet their entire table ordered alcoholic drinks and one of the guys looked younger than me . when i asked her " is there a reason you didnt check any of their ID's " she first tried to lie and say " i did check their ID " , i told her " no you didnt , i watched you that whole time and not one person on that table pulled an ID out " . We came to el pescador for Mother's Day around 3pm and it was by far the worst customer service my family and I have ever received. Our server Guadalupe I has no customer service skills and no hospitality. I understand it was a busy day as many people wanted to celebrate with their mothers, but no once did she check up on us to see if we were doing okay. We had to ask multiple servers to help us out. Also we had ordered a guacamole and when it arrived it had cheese. To our surprise. We asked for a different guacamole without cheese as one of my family members has and allergy to cheese. Our server told us, "You should have told me you didn't want cheese". Last I know Guacamole doesn't come with cheese and she did not inform us it came with cheese. When we ordered the same family member informed her that they did not want cheese on their asada burrito mojado. When it arrived once again it came with cheese and it was a chicken burrito instead of the asada. Not once did she apologize or take accountability. I was very disappointed in this service since the first time we came here the service was amazing. read more

One hour later, we are still waiting for our names to be called. The host had three lists with names and he sat some of his friends before the people on the list. Finally, at one hour and twenty minutes after our arrival, we are taken to our seats. Well, we were asked to move once we sat down because the manager had decided to give our seats to a party next to our table. We didn't even get an I'm sorry, we will give you a discount... nothing.
