I have been coming to this spot for a minute! Vanessa is the reason I always come back. I have had not so good service here before years ago, but since Vanessa came into the picture, service has always been 5 stars. I usually get the Pescador, Carnitas, or Carne asada lunch special. All are good but the Carne Asada is the best in my opinion. Chips are light and not greasy. Salsa has a lot of flavor but no very spicey. Drinks are good. Sometimes weak, sometimes good. We hosted our annual company Christmas event here this year and let me tell you it was THE BEST experience! I had the pleasure of working closely with Monica to plan the event which ended up having 55 attendees, and she was an absolute dream! She made sure to stay in constant communication and was so kind as to any accommodations that we needed! The night went off without a flaw, and when I came to set up the wait staff was superb! They saw how I was setting up and took the lead and really jumped in to help! The restaurant looked so darling for the holidays, and the band was excellent! The food was amazing, you get so many choices even when doing a seated dinner - all of my guests had a wonderful time, and have been raving about the event. Otherwise the service was really really sloooooooooooooooooooooooow like snails. Our party got there about 30 minutes after us and boy were they lucky that we ordered their drinks for them. Otherwise forget it. Woulda never gotten them. I mean j how hard is it to throw beers and ice in a bucket!?! Things that make you go hmmmm... So we get moved to our table from the bar area. My 1 star review was the fact that we were "overcharged" we went in for happy hour order from the lunch menu (carne asada plate) and when we got our receipt our food was $24ish when asked why our food was big and not the price of the lunch special the waitress said "oh the lunch special was a much smaller plate". Umm hello you give us what we ask for and not what you think we need. If it's was a smaller plate then that's what it is. Don't just go assuming. I still payed the amount but this place needs to train their employees to take the correct order and not sneak in higher plates/prices. Very disappointed!!! I went in probably one of the busiest day of the week, on Saturday. I was thrown off by the negative reviews as my experience was a good one. They were able to accommodate our 7 party table ( tables text to each other), I do recommend to their make a reservation or else expect and hour wait. I had their Carne Asada plate with nopales with creamy and I'm so happy I chose that plate. The portion is MASSIVE, comes with tortillas, beans, rice and nopales salad. The meat is soft and juicy unlike other Mexican places. Their drinks, ohhhh boyyy are bomb! The drink is clearly made with top shelf alcohol and just enough to where you can actually feel like you're having an adult drink lol. I normally do not like writing bad reviews but this has been the worst experience I ever had at this type of restaurant. When we first got seated okay they brought us chips and dip okay cool, but it took forever for someone to get to us and when they finally did nice, but no waters were brought to our table, no silverware was at our table until we had to ask for these things. Most places being water as a courtesy cause people who drink alcohol do need water, and usually silverware is already at the table granted I guess they wait to bring silverware when your food arrives to your table. Two of our alcohol drinks were not made correctly and when trying to get it fixed our server was no where to be found, I had to stop another serve to help and then she stated she couldn't even find our server. Now I'm here waiting to get my bill and our server has yet to come to our table and check in on us or provide any refills of water and now I'm feeling very impatient as I want to leave and go home already! I am not sure why this service was horrible tonight, but truly this is unacceptable and I truly hope the management finds way to improve on this... As for the food they put way too much onions on everything and it just wasn't very appetizing tonight. I took my mother for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, we both ordered the taquitos lunch plate. The Two taquitos we dry , hard and just terrible tasting. I asked our waitress if they were made fresh or frozen? She told us they are made fresh then frozen till ordered.also our waitress never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks... Met a friend for lunch the 1st time here almost 2 weeks ago and I've been 5 more times since... You can't beat the Customer Service, Food and Prices here. When I find something I like I tend to overdo it Lol We sit in the bar area. I truly enjoy Jesus - the Bartender, Martin - the Waiter and all the other waiters and waitresses because it's truly a team effort here. We try to get here before 3pm so we can get a couple drinks in for $5, of course the Premium drinks are not on the lunch specials but even their prices are reasonable. They have a variety of food to choose from for lunch and then at Happy Hour, 3pm-7pm M-F (and I think all day Monday) the drink specials are just $6.50... It's a win win The music in the bar area can be loud at times but the entire room pretty much joins in when a good song (Spanish) comes on. I even try my best if I'm familiar with it. There are plenty of regulars here and I love that. Overall, this is the spot. I'm a stickler for customer service and it's nice to find a place that hits the triangle (I just made that up) 1) Good Customer Service 2) Good Food/Drinks 3) Great Prices. I recommend this place. Love that they're open late. Since the pandemic, not many late night options. We went on a Fri night and they had a Mariachi band playing in the main dining room. It's quite loud. The band was vary good but the sound person needs to turn the volume down a bit. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Side of tortillas was very hot, and delicious, but you need to eat them quickly. My brother didn't and they got pretty stiff. read more

My family and I had came to this location years ago. We decided to give it another try for lunch this time. I decided to go with the shrimp tacos( soft tortilla) they were pretty good. They do come with a chipotle sauce on top which is pretty spicy. Keep in mind that they no longer provide complementary chips and salsa. They only provide (1) free basket. The place has changed dramatically. The bar area is now a little darker with a stench to it. However, the service that was provided today was good. The last two Galaxy home games my dad and I have stopped to grab some tacos for the parking lot right down the street. The first time it took them over a half hour to make 3 a La carte fish tacos. The next time I called 30 minutes ahead of time thinking it would be ready when we got there. Nope I waited 20 minutes more when I got there. 50 minutes total for 3 tacos! Can't say I'm super impressed. The service wasn't as bad as other reviews, but I was annoyed that my food came out and sat right next to me while the waiter went, got food for the table next to OSS, served them, then served us. My fajitas were still hot, but the beans and rice were just luke-warm & cold by then. I would've complained, but I didn't care for the rice anyway,. So that brings me to the good, which was just okay for me. I was scared off from ordering the chile relleno because of other reviews and fear of it being frozen so I went with just steak fajitas to keep it safe. The fajitas were bland. The peppers had a decent char, but that was about it. Nothing really more eventful to say than that, unfortunately. went for the first time and never going back . service is disgusting and food was not worth the prices . our server CLAUDIA , i guess makes up her own rules and picks who she wants to ask for ID and who she doesnt . my party and i came here and ordered drinks before our meals , she didnt ask for any ID's until i ordered a margarita flight . im 24 so it wasnt a problem that she asked , but when i told her i didnt have my physical ID on me and if a picture would work she said no , that she had to check the physical card " for the cameras " . we cancelled our drink orderes since 3 out of 5 of us only had pictures of our ID's and still ordered food , there was no issues . UNTIL , miss claudia took another tables order and i specifically watched her NOT CHECK ANYONES ID yet their entire table ordered alcoholic drinks and one of the guys looked younger than me . when i asked her " is there a reason you didnt check any of their ID's " she first tried to lie and say " i did check their ID " , i told her " no you didnt , i watched you that whole time and not one person on that table pulled an ID out " . Well 1st off I was not comfortable at how this semi wide body man came and said I can't sit around bar. I was meeting a friend there and he was sitting around bar right along with about 5 to 6 other people. We asked why he said because their doing construction and you can sit at table over there (which was far from the bar) wow. (Construction ok fine well mo one should sit at the bar then) This Hispanic man was sitting in middle of bar and was looking and said you can sit here (he was trying to make me feel comfortable) the man said no it's too much people. (Mind you its about 3 bar stools left) So we just went to sitat at the table I was a bit angr but my friend was leaving to go back home soon. Anyway the guy who said I could sit there was talking to widebody from a far and I'm sure he was asking why she can't sit at bar. The food was pretty good and waitress and servers were very nice.
