They import and sell exclusively Italian wines, and they source their wines directly from farmers who are dedicated to organic farming practices. They also import many wines from young winemakers as well as female winemakers (from regions where female winemakers are not very common). The tasting room is very comfortable and had plenty of seating for people on a Saturday night around 6. You can drop in for shopping (they offer all 50 of their wines in their bottle shop) or to hang out (they offer rotating flights, glasses of wine, and a build your own charcuterie board menu). I was there for the $30 tasting (which is by reservation only), which included five wines and a some snacks (some chips, some cheese, some olives, and some fresh preserves/jam). Bailey, their somm, took such great care of me throughout my tasting. He brought me a map of Italy and described each wine and the winemaker with incredible detail and insight. I enjoyed all of the wines and the snacks! I also left with a few bottles to enjoy later at home! I had a great time at Vine Bar. They're doing something very cool and different from other wine bars, and I'd love to return for another tasting or just to enjoy a glass of wine or two at the bar.

My only complaint is the corkage fee if you choose to enjoy a bottle on-site. This is only the second time I've ever encountered a corkage fee at a tasting room, and we've visited many across some of the world's most renowned wine regions. It's a bit puzzling, especially in a relaxed setting like this. None of the Pennsylvania wineries do this but this tasting room and a tasting room in West Chester do and it's really obnoxious. But the good news is the prices at this tasting room are affordable and they don't charge a credit card fee! That said, we'd definitely come back.
