    Chicken fajita so good!
    Beth K.

My favorite Tex-Mex cuisine Fajitas!!! This sizzling skillet of chicken , peppers, and onions did not disappoint. They offer lots of varieties of fajitas shrimp, chicken, beef, and seafood with all kinds of combinations. Authentic tasting and flavorful with tender juicy chicken. Close to Dover AFB.

I ordered online. It was super simple. I arrived a little early, but they had my order completed at the time I specified. This was the finest Mexican food I've had in this area ever! The price was just rent and the staff was friendly. I brought my dinner home and re-plated it as it was in Styrofoam containers because it was take out. The following was my post on social media: On the Menu Tonight for Cinco de Mayo: Chuleta Ahumada Folklore and Carnitas Tacos with Mexican Street Corn from El Folklore de Mexico. !¡Delicioso! And From the Bar Tonight: A sensational Margarita crafted with Hornitos Plata Tequila and Triple Sec. Soft candlelight and Spanish guitar music are the vibe tonight. Tell me how you celebrated the day!

Burria Burrito is so big I could only eat half. It was excellent.

What a wonderful dinner and they have drinks now as well. Great wait staff and quality

    Birria tacos

This place is hit or miss. This was our 3rd time trying . Food was ok. Beans were good but watery. Birria taco was soggy so they fell apart as soon as I picked up. Kids quesadilla was ok nothing special. Did not eat it all and threw away left overs.

    Churros

Went here with my mom for dinner while on a business trip to Delaware when we walked in we were immediately greeted by very kind employees. we noticed the restaurant has a very good vibe and is very clean. After we were seated we were immediately brought chips and salsa which were absolutely outstanding in my opinion it was the best chips and salsa I've had in my entire life. For my meal I ordered the quesabirria which was absolutely great everything tasted fresh and the consome was delicious. For dessert I ordered the churros which had a beautiful presentation and they were absolutely exceptional. In addition the food was very hot when coming out. This was the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in my life!

Went to lunch with coworkers and the service was friendly and even the back of the house gave us a wave as we were leaving. Lots of smiling faces, good food and I'll definitely be back!

The service was hands down the best service, they were sweet and very attentive to us! The food was amazing! Everything is made in house! The bread, the desserts are all made in house! The pastor fries were delicious 9/10 the Torta was so good and packed! The birria burrito and consume we're so good and fresh! The ambiance there was modern vibes BUT with a touch for Mexican art, and of course Spanish music!

The food is super greasy no matter what you order. The amount of oil leftover on the plate is unnecessary.

Food was average at best. I doubt that I would go back. The fajitas lacked flavor and were over cooked. The vegetables were soggy.

Same "host" was our server. She started by trying to sell us on the buffet with was closing in 15 minutes. When we declined she took a another 15 min to come back to take our order. We weren't offered any chips and salsa (note for later) 30+ minutes later our food arrived. Both orders were missing items. While we were waiting for our rice and sauce for chicken, we noticed tables that came in after us getting chips and salsa when seated. When we asked our server, she said that we didn't get any because they were "making more chips" when we originally sat. Did she offer any when ready? Nope. Server never came back to check on our food or refill drinks. Had to track her down at the bar, again hanging out with co-workers, to pay our check. I'd give it a zero if I could. They must prey on first timers like us that don't know any better. Now we do.

I know the building is old but still the smell was off-putting. We were seated and were given chips and salsa. The salsa was very good - that is what earned the 2 stars for this review. The chips were ok - on the thicker side but still ok. While perusing the menu, I found some of the menu prices to be a little ridiculous. For example, on the a la carte menu, a side of rice and refried beans was like $8.50? Yikes. Rice alone was $5 something? Ordinarily, rice and beans are inexpensive so the prices seemed a little high to me. My daughter ordered fajitas and I ordered the quesabirria taco platter that came with rice and beans because I figured for what they were charging for them, they must be something special. She ordered a Coke to drink and I ordered unsweetened iced tea. Her soda arrived completely flat - not one bubble to be found. My tea was undrinkable - it tasted of terrible, terrible tap water with no tea flavor whatsoever. I was surprised when our food arrived. I have ordered fajitas countless times from multiple restaurants and they are always served on a sizzling skillet. While the fajitas were served on a skillet, it was not the sizzling, steamy presentation found in other places. Instead, she was given a barely warm serving of small, rubbery shrimp along with standard fajita fare. We were there between lunch and dinner and there were only maybe 2 or 3 other tables so I don't understand why she wasn't served a fresh dish. She picked at what was on the skillet and was so unimpressed, she never even opened up the tortillas to make an actual fajita. Quesabirria tacos are my favorite and I was very much looking forward to them. I was disappointed in these as well. They were barely lukewarm and the cheese inside was not even melted. The dipping sauce was bland. I am very thankful that the rice and beans came with my platter instead of paying the high price of a la carte because both were not good. The beans were like a pureed soup and very loose/watery. The rice had no flavor. I ate about 1/2 of one taco and gave up. No, we did not complain or send the food back. I wrote it off as a one and done experience and knew I would never go back. The final insult was when I got the bill. On top of the high prices of the not so great food, they charged $4.50 for a flat Coke and $4.50 for an unsweetened "iced tea" that tasted of stale swamp water. I understand restaurant prices are rising but that seemed extreme to me. I was very much looking forward to trying this place as the other Mexican restaurants in the area are meh at best and was bummed to find this place even worse.
