Comida molcajete - A large black stone molcajete contains seasoned ground meat, sautéed bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese, placed on a wooden serving board. Surrounding the molcajete are side dishes including rice, tortillas, and chips. In the background, a woman is eating from a red plate with rice, tortillas, and condiments, with a Coca-Cola cup nearby. The setting appears to be a casual Mexican restaurant with vibrant decor.

The Tostada. I liked the tostada. It was $4. - A tostada featuring ground meat, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese is presented on a white disposable plate. The dish appears freshly prepared, with the toppings spread over a crispy tortilla base. The plate is placed on a wooden surface, indicating a casual dining setting, possibly at a Mexican restaurant or food stand.

I give it 3 stars because I think I had too high of hopes going on and I was a little let down. The food was fine. I like the tostada the most. So the burrito was good, but if I did a blind taste test, I'm not sure if I could tell the difference between their burrito and Taco Bell's burrito supreme. But also, I am from California, and I have so many good options to choose from for Mexican food, and I thought this place would give me that Mexican food quench I needed. Almost. Their taco was good because they were like the street taco's I am used to, but were a little dry. I'm always used to some of the carne asada meat sauce getting onto my taco and making my tortilla a little softer and taco juicier. The tostada was good. Also, the burrito was good. I enjoyed it. But I thought I'd be getting some big burrito.. like a taco truck burrito. The burrito was only $5.50, so maybe I should have known. I'd like them to keep this burrito as an option, but also have a big burrito for $8 as an option that feels more authentic. Also.. good staff and nice place.

Used to love this place. Started eating here a few years ago and there was a younger girl working the front of the house and a middle aged lady working the kitchen. Chips and salsa were plentiful, tacos were well made, meats were consistent and flavorful. It was great. Ate here again and was hoping it would be better than the last several times I have been in but it wasn't. Different staff (has been for a while) not as friendly. Small portion of chips and about two ounces of salsa (small bowl used to be almost full). Meats in the tacos were not as flavorful and plentiful as they used to be, even paying for extra meat did not fill them up. Cheese and sour cream not as plentiful as they used to be or distributed on the tacos, one small dollop. Also ordered 4 tacos and a burrito to go and asked for their green sauce to top them and got one two ounce container. It's sad now. I understand that cost are going up but if you as a restaurant can't make money at the prices you have listed on the menu then don't lower quantity or quality, raise your prices. Most customers will be willing to pay a higher price for a better product, if they aren't willing you don't need them as a customer any way.

Mexican dish with rice and beans. Mango margarita, chips and salsa - A Mexican meal is served on a yellow plate, including a rolled taco topped with sauce, rice, and beans with green sauce. A mango margarita with a straw and salted rim is placed nearby, with chips and salsa in the background. The setting appears to be a casual restaurant with other dishes and drinks visible.

Food was great, service was on point. Drink's refreshing. Will visit again in the near future.

I enjoy El Nopal. The tacos taste authentic. I enjoy the red and verde sauces for the tacos. They compliment it well. Honestly, this is my favorite taco spot in Dover. It's worth stopping by and trying them out. Also, I recommend calling your meal in ahead of time.

The food was good, the service was great! It could use a little bit more ambiance! Maybe more decorations?

Never been disappointed when ordering from here. I'm pretty basic and just get the tacos, but they are probably the best tacos in town.

Very limited menu, missing several staples of most authentic taquerias. The food was not very good.

La Tonalteca - refried beans, Guacamole Salad

Same "host" was our server. She started by trying to sell us on the buffet with was closing in 15 minutes. When we declined she took a another 15 min to come back to take our order. We weren't offered any chips and salsa (note for later) 30+ minutes later our food arrived. Both orders were missing items. While we were waiting for our rice and sauce for chicken, we noticed tables that came in after us getting chips and salsa when seated. When we asked our server, she said that we didn't get any because they were "making more chips" when we originally sat. Did she offer any when ready? Nope. Server never came back to check on our food or refill drinks. Had to track her down at the bar, again hanging out with co-workers, to pay our check. I'd give it a zero if I could. They must prey on first timers like us that don't know any better. Now we do.

We dined here for lunch yesterday and were very disappointed. When we walked in, we were met with…read morean unpleasant, musty smell. I know the building is old but still the smell was off-putting. We were seated and were given chips and salsa. The salsa was very good - that is what earned the 2 stars for this review. The chips were ok - on the thicker side but still ok. While perusing the menu, I found some of the menu prices to be a little ridiculous. For example, on the a la carte menu, a side of rice and refried beans was like $8.50? Yikes. Rice alone was $5 something? Ordinarily, rice and beans are inexpensive so the prices seemed a little high to me. My daughter ordered fajitas and I ordered the quesabirria taco platter that came with rice and beans because I figured for what they were charging for them, they must be something special. She ordered a Coke to drink and I ordered unsweetened iced tea. Her soda arrived completely flat - not one bubble to be found. My tea was undrinkable - it tasted of terrible, terrible tap water with no tea flavor whatsoever. I was surprised when our food arrived. I have ordered fajitas countless times from multiple restaurants and they are always served on a sizzling skillet. While the fajitas were served on a skillet, it was not the sizzling, steamy presentation found in other places. Instead, she was given a barely warm serving of small, rubbery shrimp along with standard fajita fare. We were there between lunch and dinner and there were only maybe 2 or 3 other tables so I don't understand why she wasn't served a fresh dish. She picked at what was on the skillet and was so unimpressed, she never even opened up the tortillas to make an actual fajita. Quesabirria tacos are my favorite and I was very much looking forward to them. I was disappointed in these as well. They were barely lukewarm and the cheese inside was not even melted. The dipping sauce was bland. I am very thankful that the rice and beans came with my platter instead of paying the high price of a la carte because both were not good. The beans were like a pureed soup and very loose/watery. The rice had no flavor. I ate about 1/2 of one taco and gave up. No, we did not complain or send the food back. I wrote it off as a one and done experience and knew I would never go back. The final insult was when I got the bill. On top of the high prices of the not so great food, they charged $4.50 for a flat Coke and $4.50 for an unsweetened "iced tea" that tasted of stale swamp water. I understand restaurant prices are rising but that seemed extreme to me. I was very much looking forward to trying this place as the other Mexican restaurants in the area are meh at best and was bummed to find this place even worse.
