So disappointed in this morning's breakfast. I usually order the omelettes here, which are delicious, but this morning I decided to try the veggie eggs Benedict. Big mistake. The hollandaise sauce was tasteless, and the "English muffin" it was served on bore no resemblance to any English muffin I've ever eaten before. It was a flat piece of bread-like substance with an odd flavor. The kitchen took a very long time to prepare our orders. I will be back, because in the past I have enjoyed my meals here....but I will not order the eggs Benedict again. Our server was excellent. read more

My husband had a lovely omelette, and I had the eggs Benedict which was sooooooo good...we sat out on the covered patio watching the rain and it's such a cute little place...the service was excellent!!! read more

The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The food is good I ordered the southwest skillet which was tasty. This is a nice breakfast and lunch restaurant with great outside seating. The only thing I would change is adding a grouper sandwich to the lunch menu. read more

The food is good. I had the crab cake Benedict and enjoyed it very much. I wasn't thrilled that the mimosas were made with syrup but they were tasty nonetheless. However, I won't be returning as many of the employees here don't wear masks. During a pandemic, all employees should be wearing masks. I found it very uncomfortable to have random servers talk directly to me without a face covering, especially when I was trying to eat outdoors to avoid too much contact with people. read more

I am very sad to write this review, specially because I've been coming here since 2016. I am a medical massage therapist and I used to have my business Nearby this restaurant. I used to get breakfast or lunch to go and even sent my clients there. On December 20th, 2021 I decided to get some GC for some friends from church and I was doble charge for them. I knew I had been double charge the minute the waiter rang it twice, reason why I knew it was because as she was ringing my debit visa card( which we all know it comes off directly from your checking) I decided to go into my suncoast account and even told and showed the waiter that she had double charge me. She said that since It look like it was pending, it should all be taken care of by the end of the day ( the business closes at 2:30) .. well, I check my account around 8pm, and guess what? It was no longer pending but posted! the next morning I called and told them what was going on. The person who assisted me stated that the owner will call me me back to resolve the issue. He did call me back but was not really eager to give me my money back, as a matter of fact he even said to me that I should contact my bankthat since this was a credit card issue, which I immediately corrected him and told him that this was my debit Visa card, he told me I should wait couple of days... this was before x-mas, and I did wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but for my regret, this was just a way to keep me calm because he had no intentions of fixing this issue, which he knew about. He told me he was going to speak to his merchant and then get back to me.... The so call merchant told me straight up that she did see a double charge but because this was a credit cardagain, I told her this was a debit Visa card, she said I should wait few days... I never got my money back, I had to email the owner and demand a resolution.. ohhh forgot to mention, the so call merchant, call me from her cell phone! merchants do not call clients from their cell phones! the owner not only insulted my intelligence but my knowledge! It's been 22 days and I still do not have a call from him apologizing! But I do not have my money which by the way I gave him prove! Bank statement from the back where it shows the double charge and no refund from his restaurant has happened as we speak! bad for business! I've never in the 32 yrs I've been in this country been treated like I am not worthy as a client. So please I beg all of you, if you want to go there, watch your money, they are quick to take it but very slow in putting back in your bank what does not belong to them! To the owner Erick: Shame on you, this is stealing! and I am sure I am not the first client you have treated like this! If this is how you treat your clients, the ones who keep your business going, I do not even want to imagine how you treat your employees! When you own a business there are 2 kinds of people you need to take care of, listen to and appreciate them, your employees, without them there are no clients! And your clients, because without them, there is no business! You should read "The way of the Shepherd" is one of the best books you as an owner will ever come across. Trust me you need it! Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Maybe a busy Sunday morning isn't the best time to judge. But, that's when I was at E.J.s. Service was great! There was a short wait, which was handled professionally and efficiently. The huevos rancheros were tasty, but something was amiss. The black beans were in a pool of liquid. I had expected, inaccurately, that the fried tortillas would be corn. They was flour which I found weird. The avocado slices with cilantro were wonderful. The poached eggs were perfect. Sour cream was in a small container on the side, and looked like it had been put there much earlier, as it had separated from some of the liquid. The flavor was quite good, though. We also ordered a kids meal. Very good fruit cup with a slice of bacon. Our over medium fried egg was over easy. Even some of the white was still translucent. So the little one only ate part of the egg. Indoor and outdoor seating were both comfortable. It was nice to see a counter for easy single seating. I'll try it again. read more

Outstanding experience!! We arrived on a Sunday morning and were told the wait was 30 minutes. They have a cool waiting list process that allows you to track your position in line. A great place for brunch! Located in a very nice place close to the water. Wait time is reasonable but thats always a good sign to a good restaurant. Food came out fast and was just as described! Prices are also very reasonable and rather inexpensive. Brunch for 2 with 2 mimosas came out to $35. Not bad in comparison to Miami. Great service. Let me just say... EJ's has the best eggs benedict of ALL TIME!!! Nice and creamy hollandaise sauce just right, not to too overpowering and not thick at all. Even my 4 year old enjoyed them and she my friends is quite the picky eater. We devoured them in about -0.2seconds lol. That's how good they were. Would highlt recommend this place. A friend took me here, proclaiming it was one of the undiscovered gems of Naples. After one breakfast here, I tend to agree. I ordered the southwestern skillet which was eggs, cheese, hot peppers, vegetables, and a few other goodies served in a hot skillet. Everything was great! I wasn't too crazy about their $3 coffee and $1 substitute for fruit instead of potatoes, but it's not the end of the world. The owner works here, and is really friendly. We really enjoy eating at EJ's Bayfront Cafe. We have made a special trip to come here a few times for a nice brunch. We especially like egg sandwich and we love the cheesy hash brown casserole. This time we brought our whole family to EJ's for breakfast before our son's wedding. We got to sit on the patio and we all enjoyed the food. The french toast was a big hit at our table as was the biscuits and gravy we got as a side dish. It's a really pretty area to walk around and enjoy a nice morning. read more

Excellent cafe in Naples. We parked the boat in the public parking dock and walked to the cafe. I enjoyed a delicious salmon salad. Definitely recommend. Others at the table enjoyed the burger, the rueben and the club sandwich. Super cute restaurant with outdoor seating. read more

I truly cannot say enough nice things about this place! I work in Bayfront and order take out or pop in for a quick breakfast or lunch. It's such a charming little breakfast place with indoor and outdoor seating, in Bayfront. GORGEOUS! Decorated with stained glass and murals. It is so adorable, so much character and heart. EJ himself works along side his team of incredible servers, cooks and hosts. From what I can see it is a fluid and cohesive working environment. The food always hits. Delicious. Options for healthy and comfort food on the menu! You really can't go wrong. Everyone in there is so friendly and makes the experience that much better. Wish I could give more stars. read more

A diner style breakfast place in the Bayfront section. We had a basic breakfast there but expected a bit more from the other reviews. The food was - fine - but not memorable. The best part was the fresh squeezed oj which you can find almost everywhere. The ambiance was lacking a bit- no water views and the tables are in a shaded building pass through. This place has such great reviews that I was expecting something spectacular, however I was met with a very standard breakfast. It's a cute little location with plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered the Bacon Benedict, which was a pretty standard Benedict with some thick, delicious bacon (although not a lot of it). I also got the Strawberry Salad, which was a spinach salad with feta and fresh strawberries and mandarin oranges. It's really fresh! The strawberry dressing wasn't that great and I wish it had been served with a balsamic vinaigrette instead. All in all a good breakfast, but definitely nothing noteworthy. Sorry read more
