They have a sign on the table 90min limit to be mindful of the parking area. They sell local coffee and coffee from other locations like Redding California. Didn't get a chance to ask about that type of coffee and why not stick to all local, don't get me wrong I love California! Born and raised but just wondered if there was some relation or just really good coffee beans.

It got so bad that our waitress brought us beignets and apologized profusely for the delay. When the food finally arrived, one person ordered pancakes, another had a hamburger with French fries, and I ordered the avocado toast. Everyone else's food was satisfactory, but unfortunately, my avocado toast missed the mark. The waitress could see my disappointment and apologized. She explained that there was a new person in the kitchen running things and offered to have another avocado toast made to see if it would be any better. The second one was definitely better, and I appreciated her making the effort to fix the situation. She was very kind and did her best under the circumstances. That said, the extremely long wait was disappointing, especially when we watched other tables who arrived after us get their food in a much more timely manner. I understand that restaurants can have an off day, but waiting nearly two hours for a meal really put a damper on the experience. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be revisiting on our next trip.

As someone who has dedicated years to crafting culinary experiences in fine restaurants, my recent visit to Einstein Bros Bagels left me profoundly disappointed. It's perplexing why the chain refuses to return to the standards of the pre-pandemic era, particularly when their locations now stand as mere shadows of their former selves. If patrons can't enjoy their meals in a welcoming environment, perhaps closing the doors would be more honest. The lack of care from the staff was immediately apparent. Ordering was a sluggish ordeal, punctuated by an employee who could barely string together two or three words during what seemed like a complex transaction for two simple bagels. The wait for three bagels was a staggering 20 minutes--a time frame that might suggest they were striving for perfection. However, the reality was far from that. My turkey sandwich resembled something a toddler might create on their first attempt. An ingredient was missing from one bagel, and the staff failed to inform us where to find the additional items for the jelly bagel with cream cheese that we had requested. When I inquired, I was met with an expectation that I should somehow be omniscient about their operations. This indifference was all the more galling given that I seemed to care more about cleanliness, quality, service, and the overall experience than any of the overwhelmed employees, who appear to have used the pandemic as an excuse to lower their standards. This systemic issue clearly stems from poor leadership. Upon voicing my complaints, I was dismissively handed a business card, and the management showed no real effort to address or rectify my concerns. There was an absolute refusal to engage with me, and they appeared unconcerned about the terrible experience I had endured. Why would the staff care when their leader exhibits such apathy? While the manager might be diligent in responding to online reviews, there's evidently no genuine effort to effect change regarding staff training, food quality, or service. Directing everyone to a corporate site instead of taking local, personal responsibility is not only ineffective but deeply disappointing.
