The baristas took less than a minute to prepare both coffee drinks, and their calmly cheerful attitude is always so appreciated by a non-morning person like me! This is honestly the rudest coffee shop by far. Staff are not nice, barely acknowledge you, are uneducated about the menu & are more interested in their conversations than in their customers. This place is great! Just be aware if you are looking for a sugar free drink they aren't really sugar free. I'm a type 1 diabetic so I order sugar free but the drinks brings my sugars up just as much as the normal one. It's as good as any other location of B&B--and perhaps even a touch better since parking is decent and there's enough room to spread out a bit. On a recent trip, however, I was just meeting someone for a little bit of work and was disappointed when they were completely befuddled, confused, and downright lost when he went to ask them about the WiFi. I usually just plug in the ol' wireless card and don't fool with the inhouse WiFi so I was unaware. But he followed their instructions (doomed from the start) and never ended up getting online. Le shame. Still, if you're looking for a quick(ish) brew spot near Fashion Place and right on State Street, there are few options in the area. This will do just fine. Order food and a drink on Grubhub, the driver stopped a few buildings down and marked it delivered and drove off without calling me or trying to deliver or anything. I had to replace more order since I was still hungry and at work. Galaxy called to make sure I meant to send a duplicate order and I explained what happened and she offered to give me an extra sandwich even though it wasn't their fault at all. I had the floating latte last time. It's amazing. The girls the were very nice and professional. The ambience of B&B is always great if you ask me. A few things I noticed that didn't like: there wasn't enough wall plugs, their wifi was password protected and I had to walk I and ask them about it, men's bathroom seat wouldn't stand (never thought that'd be something I'll write about lol). I've always had a good experience at most Beans & Brews but this location is at the top of the standard. The service is one of the best you can find at a coffee shop. All of the baristas are friendly, professional, informative, and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and so comfortable. I got a B&B Frap here. It was what you'd expect out of a coffee chain frap. Sweet, inconsistent textures, super caloric whipped cream, but hits the spot just right that you don't mind. I definitely had to skip dinner that day to make up for drinking so many calories out of that thing. But it was satisfactory enough. This location is kinda tucked away in the corner of a mall parking lot, but it has the perk of plenty of parking. The atmosphere and space is inviting and clean. Brownie points for clean bathrooms. Wifi is decent enough to post up for a couple hours and work without wanting to tear your hair out. read more

Stopped in at this location today to get my usual iced white chocolate mocha - this time without ice, just to try. (I hate when my drinks get watered down.) I was helped by the GM, but the interaction wasn't memorable. It felt as if "I was just another customer to help", and get me out. She didn't seem to try to be too friendly, want to build rapport, etc. Although, she wasn't unfriendly, either. Just very "neutral", if I had to put a word to it. I had to get up extra early for work today. I decided coffee should do the trick to help me wake up. The cashier said it was her first time running it. She tried her best to put in my order and had a little struggle. By the time she was done checking me out, the barista had my drink up. I got the Revolver, which is either hot or cold and has 6 shots of espresso in it. They have a list of flavors you can add to it to make it your own. Would have given it five stars if not for the little hick up at the cash register. I would recommend this location to anyone. Sometimes there's a little bit of a wait but drinks are made pretty quick. read more

The atmosphere walking in caught my eye. Everything was so clean and organized and well decorated for an awesome and relaxing experience. The menu is diverse and lots of great choices. Staff is very attentive and worked well together as a team. The food was really delicious. My daughter got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and a Mango smoothie. I tied them and they were delicious. Stopped by here one sunny afternoon for a tasty iced beverage and free wifi. Awesome, friendly service -- and whoever was programming the music apparently had a wire into my brain. I hadn't heard Lush in a public place in years. Nice. The iced mocha was perfect, too -- very well-balanced between coffee, chocolate, milk, and ice. This is kind of a dinky little place nestled away from State Street. It's probably more meaningful to people who like coffee, but they brew an ok tea as well. The inside felt very cramped to me and I was not too in love with the various snacks they had. The decor inside and out wasn't anything special, but nothing offensive, either and parking was good. It's hard for me to see a return trip though or for anyone who doesn't like coffee to ever go here. read more

We went to Beans and Brews this morning to get 5 drinks and two sandwiches. After every single drink I ordered the employee interrupted me abruptly "IS THAT ALL?" It's very frustrating and inefficient to order like that. Next when we got to the window the male employee was extremely rude, we heard him tell the female employee he didn't want to deal with us. The female started handing us our drinks, after the first one I asked for a cup holder since I ordered 5 drinks. She just stared at me and then said "what?" I repeated myself and she said fine, but continued to hand me three more drinks, two sandwiches and then gave me a cup holder... then she shut the window. I was missing a drink and all the straws. We sat there for 3 minutes waiting for someone to come back. The male employee opened the window and said "did you need something?" Very rudely. I had to tell him I was missing a drink and all the straws, and now I'm questioning if my drink was tampered with because of this foul interaction. I know we are all stressed out during these times, but the bare minimum politeness would have gone a long way this morning. read more
