I don't know what was in the atmosphere but everyone was very rude and rushing in there even got both my orders wrong. Super disappointed I've only been to the San Diego locations and I've never had a bad experience until this time. Very unfortunate I will not be returning to this location. read more

Serivce is friendly and fast. I love how Einstein Bros Bagel has "smarter" choices--under 350 calories and 15g fat. I usually try to stay away from bagel places because of the heavy carb load, but I liked how easy to follow their menu was and how they notated the calorie count next to each item. I ordered the Asparagus, Mushroom & Swiss Bagel Thin Eggwhite which was really light, guilt-free and delicious. It was enough to fill me up without feeling too heavy or stuffed. I ordered an extra sandwich for my lunch, the Garden Herb Turkey--which was really light and refreshing--a pretty straightfoward bagel thin turkey sandwich. My bf ordered the Santa Fe Egg Wrap which had turkey sausage, salsa, jalapeno cream cheese and pepper jack cheese--this was also quite flavorful and spicy, filling but not too heavy. Prices are a bit more than I would like, especially for the portions of some of their sandwiches. Subway would probably be more filling than a bagel sandwich here. But if you're in the mood for a good bagel, Einsteins is your place. Since Einstein's is relatively close to a lot of hiking trails, maybe think about stopping by for some breakfast or lunch to pack for your hike! read more

Review is for mobile order in the app. I put down a pick up time of 9:40. I got there right on time, about 9:38 to be exact. My bagels were cold so I think they made the order when I paid on the app (about 9:15), which means my bagels were probably sitting there for probably 15-20 minutes. Now I know for next time to just order in the shop. The bagel itself was good- I ordered the cheesy hashbrown. I imagine it would've tasted a lot better warm and not cold. The jalapeño salsa cream cheese was way too spicy for me! But for those that enjoy spicy food I think you will enjoy it. read more

So I passed by this place and thought "I'm still on a quest to find the best NYC bagel here in LA and I haven't tried this place." Sadly, most places have been disappointing (Bagel Broker, Brooklyn Bagel Bakery, Western, Noah's, Goldstein's, Sam's on Sunset). Although I didn't have much hope, I stopped and ordered one honey whole wheat bagel for $1.19, plain and un-cut (this is how I test). The bagel is so pillowy soft. There is no outer crunch or chewy denseness that a good NY bagel has. Essentially, it has none of the properties. However, it did have good flavor. It reminded me of a Vons bagel. It's not the worst bagel I've eaten, but don't waste your time and tastebuds if what you want is a true NY style bagel. If this kind of bagel is your thing, then a baker's dozen will cost $10.99. If you want NY style, go to the Original Brooklyn Water Bagels in Beverly Hills. read more

If I could give this location of zero star I would . I always have a very bad experience at this location. But I wanted to give it another chance. I went in they all have such a bad attitude when I was placing my order they made me feel like they are paying for my food they don't make you feel welcome they don't even greet you or acknowledged you not even a single smile. The absolute worst customer service . I tried calling the manager never received a call back. The worst part even a employees acknowledge that the staff was really bad. It's just so sad how much they hate their jobs and how they could just ruin your experience at their store when you were just trying to enjoy a bagel. read more

Tried again today and not open on time. 2 other customers left as well. Really bad business

Worst "curbside" service ever. The directions say to park and wait with your hazard lights on. The banner on the door says to call. Nobody answers the phone. After waiting 25 minutes in my car, after the 10-15 minutes the website said it would take to make my order, I notice other people disregarding the line and walking inside and coming out with their order, I decided to go inside. So I walked right in, and there was my order sitting on a rolling cart. This is not the first week of a pandemic. Stores should already have systems in place for this "new normal". read more

Got a dozen bagels to go with various cream cheese spreads. Good quality. The staff was attentive.

They have the best best fresh bagels! I come here a couple times a month with my parents for breakfast. It's always consistent and tasty! They also carry Einstein bagels at Costco but it's def not the same as when you buy them from their actual store! The ones at Costco are dense. I knocked them a star because their employees are rude and not knowledgeable about their products. I must say though the manager guy is really nice! So he gets a special shout out! (Tall guy with the glasses) read more

I love coming to this location. The service is great and the staff are friendly. They remember who I am even if I haven't stopped in a for a while. I will say that there have been a few mishaps- I received the wrong bagel (they made me a new one), I didn't have cream cheese on a bagel (I know, first world problem), and I ordered the 13 bagels for $7 but received the wrong box. This was probably the most disappointing as I did not realize the mistake until 2 days later as a lot of the bagels were similar to the ones I originally ordered. My biggest advice to anyone that goes to this location is to double check your order when you receive it. Unfortunately when I come here, most times I'm in a rush so I don't always check and do not notice the error until later. The staff are pretty good about rectifying situations so long as they are told. Overall, awesome place and I will keep coming back. PS- I wish their rewards program was better, maybe had an app so I can go through all the daily deals and stuff and keep track of my points! read more

This establishment use to be a Noah's Bagel. Now it is an Einstein. Even though it is owned by the same company. It's just not Noah's. I came here one saturday morning to get some breakfast before heading out to LA. My favorite bagel is the Blueberry Bagel. So I got one of those toasted. When I got my order, I thought it was a cranberry bagel. So I asked to make sure I had the right bagel. The lady was really rude about it. Like she did not have the time of day for me. I was really offset by her and was like REALLY? With that disappointed, I most like will not come here for bagels. There are many other place where I can get them from. Tip for the manager of this establishment: If you have an unsatisfied customer, treat them with respect and don't brush them aside. I would give this place 1 star, but I'll be generous, since my bagel wasn't burnt. Also, I noticed that some of the in demand coffee choices were empty. One lady was tipping it forward to get some out and even added water. That's bad management right there. read more

I actually intended to get Peet's Coffee but while waiting for my drinks, I noticed the store was connected to this store and checked it out. I came here at least 5 times upon a recommendation from a friend who is a foodie lol. All of my previous experiences were either good or neutral. However the last and final time I went, I never felt such a horrible experience from a business before. I follow the saying that if I don't have anything good to say, then don't say it.... but I feel that it is important to share my experience with everyone. I never felt humanly degraded and racial discriminated before. This place was neither busy or empty. I was waiting in line (there's a no official line but I was obviously waiting in a line in front of the bagel selection). The worker said he could help me and they had none of the choices I wanted and I had named my top 5 choices but they were already all sold out. I was looking around and seeing what was left and all of a sudden a unknown White woman cut in front of me and starting ordering, "Can I have 6 plain bagels...". I immediately was in shock and out of that reaction, I cut in front of her lol.... and I said "excuse me" but she completely ignored me... as well as the worker. She began continuing her order like normal and the guy was listening and talking to her... as if I was invisible!!!! I kept saying "excuse me" over and over and I was about to cry so I just rushed out with a Peet's Coffee in my hand. I would never come here again even if I was paid to come here. I felt like the experience I felt was a real-life nightmare.... I felt that I was ignored because of my race... had I have been the same race of that woman (White), I do not think I would have been ignored... and I know Pasadena well to say that there is racial profiling here whether you like it or not. I haven't been racial profiled before but I always hear about other people's experiences ... and now I know. I would give the actual bagels itself a 4/5, they taste pretty good if you get something other than plain lol... and this place gives me heavy Subway vibes. The service is a definite 0/5... save your money and go else where read more

I picked up breakfast and beverages for a meeting today. I walked in at 6:45am, ordered 18 bagels with schmears, 6 muffins, 6 pastries, a coffee box and an orange juice box. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. That was pretty amazingly fast. The bagels and bagel sandwiches are good but what I like the most is the variety they have. It's nice to be able to get muffins and pastries. They also sell sandwiches and paninis. Their vanilla hazelnut coffee smells amazing. Their orange juice is fresh squeezed. It's very convenient to order to-go. read more

This place is good for a number of reasons. Their egg sandwiches are awesome. Service is fast and very considerate. Ordered the Chorizo Sunrise, wasn't a bad way to start off a morning. Spicy but filling. What wasn't cool about it was one of the ingredients used... Ordered three different sandwiches to-go, and all three orders were WRONG! Apparently, order accuracy isn't a top priority at this location (other locations I've been to don't have this problem). I would HIGHLY recommend checking your order BEFORE you leave, because once you get home, your only recourse is to leave a review on yelp! Went through the link provided and let them know my complaint and have yet to hear back from Einstein corporate. This was about 2 weeks ago now, maybe longer. In the meantime, went back to the above Einstein's and decided to ask about the sesame seeds on the garlic bagels and an older woman who might be the manager said they have ALWAYS been that way. I am pretty intolerant to sesame seeds and don't ever remember them ALWAYS being like this, but she was insistent (with a smile). I may be aging myself, because I'm talking years ago, and they weren't ALWAYS like this. Can someone clear this up for me? read more

They are always out of something, so you're on your own, rolling the dice, coming here. Always out of coffee. If you're not early they won't have the bagel you want, there's about an 80% chance. They are out of ice today, after being out of two types of coffee and napkins. I don't understand!??! They seem to be well staffed, the crew is always nice even if not the brightest crayon in the box. The food is pretty tasty and the bagels are good. Just after a few (many) times of showing up and finding items that are not stocked up, I wonder how much longer I will be coming here. Your turn. You see if you want to roll the dice. Pro Tip: there's a major coffee chain in the same parking lot so there's always a way out if you walk into this mess and leave. read more

This cheesy hash bagel was genius. Like Wow2 by Boredoms, this place was fantastic and satisfying

I'm giving Einstein bagels 1 star due to the customer service. Never been to Einstein's bagels and a bagel sound good this morning. Maria who was at the counter taking orders provided terrible service. She asked what I wanted. I asked her to give me a second as I couldn't view the menu clearly, I let her know I didn't have my glasses and if she would help and tell me what was in a particular bagel sandwich and price. Her response was, "so you don't know what you want." This is the first time I've been at Einsteins. I let her know I'll just get a bagel instead of a sandwich. She just walked away and left me standing there. I thought she was coming back to take my order but then she called "next! "I let her know I was ready to order and she ignored me, repeated myself and she said you didn't know what you want. I did know what I wanted, a bagel! She shoves the bagel in a bag, tosses it on the counter. I asked a customer in front of me if they toast bagels. He said of course, she didn't ask? Again I waited and the customer in front of me called out to her and let her know I wanted the bagel toasted. Then she says "you'll have to wait they have to 'cook' it. It will be awhile" omg! 3 people behind me already got their orders! She puts a box in front of me, I asked is this my bagel now? "No, you have to wait." Seriously, this long for a toasted bagel when 3 customers BEHIND me already got their orders? Maria needs customer service training or work where she doesn't have to interact with people. read more

We drove 45 mins from home to come here because I love the bagels. I should have stayed home. The young man at the register didn't greet us, rushed us and seemed in a real big hurry to finish assisting us. Even gave us attitude when we tried to pay at the first stop. (You pay at the last stop.) Girl at the register didn't say good morning, thank you, how's it going. Nothing. The person preparing our food, called out our name and left the bag there on the counter. Not a thank you, enjoy, have a nice day.... Nothing. I'm writing this review from the parking lot, I am so frustrated with this poor service. If you don't like talking to people or being in customer service or the mornings then maybe your staff should look into a filing job, warehouse job or something else if talking to your paying guests is too painful. Save yourself the trouble of coming in to a place where they treat guests this way. They sell their bagels at Walmart anyways. You'd get better customer service buying a bag of bagels from Walmart with NO customer service- and that's saying something. read more

Einstein Bros is good for takeout. When I'm in the area and feeling hungry for a bagel but want to pretend I'm being healthy by taking note of the calories, I go to Einstein's where the menu on the wall has calorie counts posted next to each option. Ordering one of the menu's combinations is usually a safe bet, but you can mix it up with your own choice of spreads and toppings if you like. It's fast enough, cheap enough, tasty enough for lunch takeout when you're not feeling what you packed for yourself to take to work. read more

This is my second time here. The first time I went to the other location due to the terrible reviews. I decided to stop by this location today since I was nearby. Despite what everyone said about terrible service and long wait time, I actually had a good experience. A man took my order and then a lady (Grace) took my money. Grace was really nice and friendly. On the pricey side. Not that great tbh. Bagels are meh and the cream cheese is also meh. Mushroom spinach and Swiss is alright, def needs salt and pepper for taste. Best thing about this place is they don't charge you extra for substituting egg whites! Vanilla cold brew is alright, Starbucks is definitely better in my opinion for a cold brew. I don't know how hard it is to get an order correct. I've come here three times and each time it's incorrect! First, my breakfast sandwich had so much spinach I felt like I was eating a salad. I paid for avocado and got no avo! Bacon?! Couldn't find that on my sandwich either. The next visit my husband ordered Lox on a Bagel. How do you not put the lox on the bagel?! I'm done coming here. Time to find a new bagel shop. Update: I almost forgot why we stopped coming here. My Yelp review reminded me. Plus my husband's $6.99 Lox and bagel with barely any Lox.... See photo... it definitely doesn't look like the photo advertised. We could have bought an entire package of Lox from the grocery store for that price and next time we will. read more

Just had a terrible experience at this particular location. Came by here at 12pm today with the wife and ordered a bagel sandwich and panini. The bagel was fine, but after a bite into the panini, my wife found a very long hair in it. We brought this to the attention of a worker and she promptly took it away and said she'd make a new one. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance so we didn't make too big a deal out of it. So they brought back a new one and after a bite we found another hair in it! We promptly lost our appetite and decided to just get a refund. It was then we noticed that none of the people making the food had hair nets or even baseball caps on. So went to one register to ask for a refund and they directed me to another register to say someone would take care of me. After waiting at the other register for 5 minutes and no one showing up, i went to the back asked if someone could help me. They then directed me to the original register. That person then told me i had to wait in a very long line in order to get my refund. There were seriously 4 other people just milling around and none of them could have just taken the 2 minutes to get my money back? So i waited in that long line and finally got my refund. Terrible service, highly questionable hygiene practices, and seems like the staff is poorly trained or doesn't give a crap. Please do not go here if anyone can help it. read more
