    Twice-Baked Hashbrown
    D H.

We visited the drive-thru at 10:30am on a Tuesday, only 1-2 other cars were in line, the line moved at a good pace, service was fast and friendly. I ordered the 2 egg Chorizo sunrise no customizations. It comes with cage-free eggs, a delicious spicy chorizo sausage, cheddar, avocado, jalapeño salsa cream-cheese shmear on a green chili bagel. It was pretty spicy I was pleasantly surprised and impressed (I love spicy, the spicier the better). I added the twice baked hash brown, a must!

Me reacting to my $4.08 bagel!!!!!

The line is usually long when I drive past at around 645 am and I don't have time to wait in line. Today there wasn't a line and thought I would treat myself to a bagel. I ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese. She told me the total of $4.08 and I nearly fainted in my car!!! What the what?!? I got to the window and paid with my credit card. When I used the pin pad there was only a option to leave a tip. ($1,$2,$3 etc) there was not an option to opt out of a tip. I have worked food service before. I get it but it's not cool to be forced to pay a tip.

I came here early morning and the drive through had a lot of cars lined up. I came inside to order and service was quick. I got a spinach bagel with egg and it was great. Staff were friendly.

Christina and Sierra at the window took me and my friends orders and they were the most efficient ppl I've literally ever seen like we expected 5 orders to be super confusing and hard but I'd honestly do anything for these employees Promote them THEY EVEN LABELED OUR DRINKS AND BAGELS AND WHEN THEY WERE OUT OF THINGS THEY GAVE US RECOMMENDATIONS OF NEW AND SIMILAR THINGS I WILL COME BACK

Chorizo Sunrise with 2 eggs - YUM! (& yes, packs a decent amount of spicy heat)

My bagel sandwich was heavenly! "Chorizo Sunrise" - green chili bagel, chorizo sausage patty, avocado, 2 eggs (my add-on), pepper jack cheese, jalapeno salsa schmear. $6.92 Highly recommend if you've considered ordering this! Background: Hungry for lunch. Admittedly, had Taco Cabana on my mind. TC line had 3 cars waiting, and 1 at the order station. Einstein Bros Bagels had 1 car at ordering station & no one else in line. Chose Einstein Bros because a) I was hungry, b) I've had this bagel sandwich before and have enjoyed it, and c) Knew that the cost of the bagel sandwich was less than what I would've ordered at TC. Interesting: Though only 1 car in line before me at Einstein Bros, I left the parking lot at the same time as the car ordering at TC. I'd like to believe the comparatively long wait was because of my order was freshly made. But who really knows: Has TC gotten faster, is it because it seemed there was only 1 person in charge of everything at Einstein Bros drive-thru, or something else? Really, it doesn't matter: I was fully satisfied - my bagel sandwich was awesome, and I saved some $!

7 am - Einstein delivered bagels, fruit, smears for our office breakfast meeting

Always a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. They offer juices as well as a variety of coffee. They have a wide selection of menu choices so everyone should be able to find something they enjoy. They have a good dozen or more variety of bagels and they offer several different smears as well. Get a dozen to go and enjoy them all week long. The place is clean and the staff is generally always friendly.

Took 20 minutes to make 1 cup of coffee. No, seriously, it did. June 11, 2021. Drive thru definitely needs improvement. Leaving 4 starts only to get owner attention, obviously it is 1.5 stars shack that is a shame to be in Austin.

Nova Lox... what a joke. Only 1 slice of smoked salmon on each side. I mean, look at the onions.
    Erin M.

This place is a joke... always out of bagels and when they do make you a bagel, it is so minimal, basic, and prepared with no thought or creativity. Look at my photo of the pathetic nova lox. And they CLOSE their drive thru on the weekends by putting a chair out to block it, which is super frustrating. I just walked-in to order and they had 5 employees working?! But they were still unorganized and sloppy. Who is the manager here? This is so poor.

    Hair in my sandwich....
    Amy H.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Customer service is trash, they don't greet you at all and seem annoyed with customers. Had a free bagel coupon and the girl charged me for it anyway. When I corrected her she had a major attitude. Started eating my sandwich, which was actually Really good... until I saw a hair in it. Avoid this place at all cost.

Male was rude when I told him I was missing a bagel. He started talking over me, "there were only two items on your ticket."

Unfortunately, the kitchen just wasn't on their game this day. We went for brunch and it is a lovely restaurant with some amazing looking pastries. My ratings of the food we got are below. Overall, everything was just okay and not something I would order again. Our order: Salami and cheese - 1/10, not even edible with how much olive oil they dumped on it. Hard cheese and meat. None of us touched it. Frites - 9/10, hard to go wrong here. Nice and crispy French cruller - 7/10, I think this is just personal presence here I wished it was warmed up. Flavor was good but it was a little dry. Burger - 5/10, the flavor is there and definitely has potential but it was so bloody and rare which is not what we asked for. My friend has a gluten allergy and she asked for the burger lettuce wrapped and it just came on top of a huge chunk of iceberg so wouldn't recommend that if you want it lettuce wrapped. Chicken sandwich - 8/10, this was good with a nice crispy chicken. It could have used something sweet to balance the spice though it was a little one dimensional.

Got parking right in front around 9 pm on a Wed. Upon entry was greeted by Melissa and sat in her section. The decor is very diner type with low, cozy booths and few tables and chairs. Not too big of a space and not sure if there is more seating elsewhere. Anyhoo, coffee was good and I got the Royal toast and a single pancake with eggs, and sausage. Ample amount of food and def had take away box. Everything was tasty and the buttermilk pancake was amazing with just syrup. Melissa was kind enough to provide little cups to take syrup home along with the tael away container. They had a daily special and a board above the kitchen with other items. We were both starving and this place is open 24/7. I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there.
