It was confusing at first because we had two different waiters who didn't seem in sync with each other about our orders but everything was seamless was we cleared it up. Unfortunately for us, the bats didn't want to come out on the particular night that we were there, but it was still a wonderful visit here at P6! The service was amazing and food was coming out pretty quickly too despite the number of dishes we ordered for our group of 11. It's more of a casual setup with couches and lower tables so that was a little bit tricky to eat a full on fork and knife meal, but the views made up for it. They do have some barstool seating for smaller parties as well. The menu is mainly tapas/family style here so it was perfect for our big group. I really liked everything that we tried but the highlights were definitely the lamb ribs (I don't even like lamb very much), the zaatar bread, charred cabbage, and the seared branzino with beurre blanc. They had a few mocktail options, so I picked the Miami Nice, which was a refreshing strawberry flavor profile. They have valet parking and validation at the host stand which made it very convenient for us! Everything was so picturesque here. Definitely an amazing spot to have a sunset dinner with a view here in Austin!

Very Vibey, and yet the food was still good too!…read more A friend and I wanted to go here for brunch, but downtown brunches can be a headache so I went over every detail to make sure it went smoothly. We got reservations, and I looked up their parking offerings. Their website said parking would be validated with reservations, but when I called to get details about that, they said parking would be validated for anyone who dined here, we just had to mention it. Sunday morning it was grey and rainy. Fall had suddenly arrived. I drove downtown, and found plenty of free street parking by the gate before I found the parking garage. I hadn't needed to worry about that! When I got inside, it was obvious I hadn't needed to worry about a reservation either. It was almost empty! I guess not many people are going to a pool themed spot the first weekend of fall, when it's also rainy and ACL is happening. It was so empty that the emptiness created a bond with those of us who happened to be there, and I chatted with a few people and the one server who was around. I looked around and took some pictures. There is a functioning outdoor pool, and an indoor pool that has been converted to more dining space. However, due to a leak in the roof, the indoor pool dining space was closed. A small pool was filled with pink beach balls as a photo op. My friend arrived, and we picked a table by the indoor pool. We looked over the menu and wanted to try everything but settled on the shrimp quesadillas and chopped salad. I was glad we weren't limited to the brunch menu during brunch time! While we waited for our food, we took pictures in the ball pit pool and looked around. They put a lot of attention into making the place look retro, a bit like a Barbie play set, and a bit like a Wes Anderson film. Our food arrived, and everything was cooked and seasoned well. Our server refilled our water regularly. We really enjoyed the meal itself! I'd love to come back on a sunny busy day to get the full experience, but it was cool to see the potential in this spot, and try a new brunch!

Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.

Bat City Breakfast Burrito - $19 Honestly, overpriced for a breakfast burrito. Maybe it's because it's inside the Hilton--similar to how Starbucks inside hotels often charges more than regular Starbucks locations. Brisket & Egg Taco $17 for one tiny taco feels way too expensive. The portion definitely didn't justify the price. Please see my pic in this review. All American - $22 Two eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, pork sausage, breakfast potatoes, and toast. A pretty standard American breakfast. The cherry tomatoes were actually the highlight--fresh, juicy, and sweet. Texas Benedict - $25 House-smoked brisket, spinach, English muffin, poached eggs, and breakfast potatoes. Everything was nice except the potatoes. The brisket and poached eggs were good. ATP Parfait Greek yogurt, mixed berries, house-made granola, agave nectar, and mint. A nice lighter option, with lovely fresh fruit. My favorite for a busy morning. One downside was the slow service, especially considering there weren't many customers when I visited. If you're staying at the Hilton, and given breakfast voucher, it's okay. But if you're paying out of pocket, I think the prices are on the high side. Especially the brisket & egg taco was definitely not worth $17.

Between the drinks, atmosphere, and appetizers, I had pretty high expectations by that point! That being said, I would absolutely come back for happy hour. We did a little staycation at Hotel Indigo and decided to have brekkie in the lobby restaurant/bar which I'm quite sure isn't affiliated directly with the hotel. Perhaps the hotel should reconsider this establishment. So, our server was friendly enough. She brought us water and our glasses were filled with dead little bugs (see photo)!!! I took a drink before even realizing and I am quite convinced I swallowed some. My boyfriend only had one or two bugs in his water. We pointed this out to our server who apologized. We then saw her behind the bar notifying the manager. The gist of their conversation was something about limes being cut and left out overnight and the bar crew from the night before were to blame. Not once did the manager come over to us. Being the adventurous fools that we are, we decided to give the benefit of the doubt and stay on for breakfast. I ordered the three cheese omelette that came with a side salad. I also asked for a side of toast which I never got. My omelette tasted weird and I didn't eat more than a couple of bites. I asked to have it boxed but once back in the hotel room we decided to throw it away. I don't know what I was thinking asking to have the leftovers boxed. Honestly, my head was spinning with everything going on from the water. My boyfriend got the Eggs Benedict and he ate most of them citing that they were okay but not fully on par. When it was all said and done, the server gave us 20% off our bill (we didn't ask for this). But for crying out loud gang, everything should have been comped! We're lucky we didn't get sick and vomit or worse. I'm still beside myself thinking about it as I type this. Mind blown, in a bad way. **AVOID**

I'm a queso fan so I thought it was good. Chips could have been a bit warmer however. It was fine with the brisket but not good enough to make me want to order this again as a brisket queso, a regular queso would have been fine. Nice flavor.
