Sheraton Hotel at the Capitol, here for a convention, bombings all around us meant we stayed right at or around the hotel. It was necessary and easy to eat here at least once a day. The lunch buffet $15 is sandwich, soup and salad that changes daily. Food has been excellent, light, and tasty, and reasonably priced every time at $10 to $25 on average. There is a standard limited menu available along with the buffet that includes burger, veggie burger, pulled pork, smoked turkey, and various salads. The bar is adjacent and handles drinks and overflow patrons. They had gluten free toast on hand, and the chef went out and bought gluten free bums once he had a gluten free request. Flatbreads are no longer on the menu, but the chef did a special request and made one for my husband anyway. Excellent restaurant! Excellent staff!

Classic hotel restaurant food. Man, I wanted to like this so much more than I did. After seeing a few dynamite veg options, I was sold. Service- meh. I was sitting at the bar and there were about seven other people sitting there as well. Not a lot. It was about 6:30p and we were the only people in the joint. I was expecting service to be on fire due to the lack of patrons, expect I kept getting overlooked. Maybe it was because I was reading a book, but you should still check on me and realize when I'm trying to flag you down or making eye contact with you that I'm ready to order. I sat down, and was greeted and given only a bar menu. I asked for the full menu and never was given it - so I looked it up on my phone. Four other people got served and asked how they were doing, but not me. Finally when someone was filling a beer I stopped the bartender and asked about ciders and her response as she was walking away was "has no one helped you yet" correct. I placed my order for beverage and food and it all came out at the same time. Again, very odd. I ate about half my plate and no one asked how it was, if I wanted anything else or anything in between. Needless to say, I was highly underwhelmed and not impressed. I ordered the cauliflower steak with mixed veggies and there was far too much balsamic based sauce on the plate for it to be fully edible. This was basically half a head of cauliflower not cut and arranged on the plate. It wasn't even grilled or had that steak vibe to it. After finally catching down another bartender to cash me out, I promptly left and won't be coming back.

Stayed at the Sheraton, Austin and this restaurant was at the bottom level. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. For lunch my friend and I had Caesar salad and shrimp tacos. I traded out the corn tortillas for flour ones and it was very delicious. Yo engage the flavor skirt the line and ask for a side of salsa and chipotle aioli.

First time in Austin and this place knows how to set the tone. The atmosphere at this restaurant is amazing and it is attached to the hotel which is also very nice. I went with the fish tacos which was amazing flavor and it was so good i had to order another two lol. If your traveling to Austin i defiantly recommend staying at this hotel and dinning at this bar.

The food is good enough, but the prices are higher than most hotel bars. Very pricey for basics, and limited menu in the mornings. It's convenient to the Sheraton, but that's its biggest perk. Nice bartenders.

This is the room service Guacamole I just ordered. You cannot convince me someone didn't help themselves to it. Disgusting!!!!

Really enjoyed Anthem's Happy Hour! Service was excellent as there weren't too many patrons on the afternoon that we visited. The decor is cute yet casual. When we're back in Austin, we'll definitely come back!

Definitely has a kick, be prepared if you don't take spicy food well. Thai Hippie Tofu - Good flavor, although there was a little too much sauce and salty for my taste. Char-Buff Cauliflower - Good and flavorful. Hawaiian Shrimp Ceviche - Refreshing and a nice option. Itchy Salmon - Two tiny pieces of sushi, but they were good. Brisket Rangoons - Just okay for me. This was probably my least favorite dish of the night. Sweet Potato Waffle Fries - crispy with good flavor. A fun side to share. Smash Burger - We had it cut in half, which made it perfect for sharing. Good burger and a satisfying way to end the meal. Overall, a fun spot for happy hour if you want to order several different dishes and share. There was a good variety.

I cant speak too much of the drinks but I appreciated their shot & beer combos/variations (I got the Tito's & Vodka which is a shot of Titos and a Nutrl Vodka seltzer). It looks like they also have a bbq spot that you can get food from but their vegetarian options were not my favorite (I dont want a baked potato with beans). I didnt really take a look at their meat options but Im sure they are better. The parking is also not the best but their website is very forthcoming about that and gives you alternatives including paid valet parking & where to find free street parking nearby.

There are about 8-10 spots right in front and otherwise I have no clue where your park. Most of the seating is outdoor and the time we went there was plenty of shade from the trees and the fans along with the natural breeze made it absolutely beautiful! Seating is sanctioned to deck and gravel with camping chairs w/tables I. The gravel area. Bar inside was clean and easy to order, a 20% gratuity is auto added which I forgot about and tipped an additional 20%, oops. The food there was from Fiasco BBQ and well that was disappointing. See their review for that. If the food was better we would have stayed longer. I got the seasonal sangria and it went down like koolaid, soooo tasty!

The pizza was delicious--full of flavor, and I can definitely see why people recommend it. The only surprise for me was the Caesar salad. I did read the description before ordering, but I'm so used to anchovies being blended into the dressing that I wasn't expecting whole anchovies on top of the salad. Seeing them caught me completely off guard! That's definitely more of a personal preference than a criticism, so if you love traditional Caesar salads, you'll probably appreciate the authenticity. Extremely disappointing service and an experience that left us feeling discriminated against…read more We had been at this bar for about an hour and had already purchased multiple rounds of drinks. As closing time approached, we went to order one last round, which is a completely normal part of going to a bar. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple interaction turned into an extremely uncomfortable experience. The female bartender, a Caucasian woman with black hair in a ponytail wearing a black tank top, had an attitude from the start. While chatting with her coworkers instead of attending to customers, she was approached by my friend, who politely asked for three Mexican candy shots. Her response was, "I guess," with a clear attitude. When my friend asked if she didn't want to make them, she bluntly responded, "I don't." She then refused to make our drinks. A second bartender, a Caucasian man wearing a Texas tank top and a hat, ended up making the shots. When we questioned the unnecessary attitude, he had no explanation and offered no comment. He could clearly see that we were upset, so he proceeded to take a shot with us and say, "Cheers." We never offered to buy him a shot, and taking shots with customers while on the clock raises another concern entirely. What makes this experience particularly troubling is that we observed white patrons being served without any apparent issues or similar attitudes. Meanwhile, we were met with hostility and an outright unwillingness to serve us. As people of color, it's difficult not to question whether our skin color played a role in how we were treated. The difference in treatment left us feeling singled out, unwelcome and discriminated against. This wasn't about being upset over a bar closing or being denied drinks after last call. We understood that closing time was approaching. We had been there for an hour, had already purchased multiple rounds, and were simply trying to order one last round while the bar was still serving customers. There was absolutely no reason for the bartender to speak to us that way or openly refuse to serve us. If you don't want to work in the service industry, perhaps it's time to find another line of work. Basic courtesy and professionalism should be the bare minimum, regardless of who walks through the door. Management needs to take this incident seriously. If this establishment genuinely has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, then there should be meaningful accountability, not just a slap on the wrist. Customers should never have to question whether they'll be treated differently because of the color of their skin. We came here to enjoy ourselves, not to be made to feel unwelcome. This experience has left a lasting impression, and based on how we were treated, I would not feel comfortable returning.
