Being a tourist based location it didn't seem they liked the tourists very much whatsoever. I took my family into Eh! Burger while on vacation thinking we would have a quality local experience. We had never heard of Eh! Burger and were in the mood for a good hamburger. Unfortunately, the food and experience was far below standard. Being a self service establishment we ordered from the counter. The woman taking the order from my wife was short with her and had an overall bad attitude not only with us, but every patron she served. To feed our family of 5 we spent approximately $80 (no alcohol) however, the food was not much better than going to a Burger King. Infact all of our burgers were luke warm (at best) and dry. The bacon was cold, the cheese couldn't melt on my son's burger because it was cold and there was barely enough room in the trash bin to throw away the trash. The bathroom was dirty when I took my 6 year old inside. We noticed we were charged for a fish sandwich that we didn't order and when my wife asked for a refund she was told to wait while the woman at the counter was clearly annoyed. To note, there is no kids menu so families must order adult size portions for children and all food is ordered ala carte. While Munising seems like a nice place I would go to another establishment to eat dinner. read more

Was super surprised with how great their burgers are. We stopped in after taking a pictured rock tour. They were very busy. The beef is ground on site which made for a phenomenal burger-best I've had in years. On top of that, we learned they were short staffed and while many other places in town had closed early or weren't open at all this place stayed open their normal hours of operation and kept serving customers. They did a great job of service as well because when we realized we were missing a small part of our order we went in to ask for it and they had already recognized it, had it set to the side and refunded our money. Went here once while traveling up north but if you ask me I'd say the food is over priced. The menu is limited. The service was slow and sassy (I get it, I work in the food industry too but if you're at the register be kind it's not that difficult) I got a white fish burger that was over cooked and the fries are bland. Really loved this place. Unexpected quality. It's graphics and design look like a chain. But it's the first. Burgers were good, but the "chicken fried" whitefish (fried whitefish ) was excellent. First of all, I will cover everything I liked about the place. We visited in the winter, and the dining area has a REALLY nice view of the water/docks. The staff was very friendly and atmosphere was casual and comfortable. They also have a Dinosaur statue with a stuffed hamburger in its mouth, and my kids LOVED that. They have absolutely amazing chili cheese fries, and if you prefer tater tots you can get those as well. Their fries are excellent. There was no kids meals, so my kids ordered Chicken Tenders, which I can confirm were delicious (since my kids quite liked but couldn't finish them). I ordered a bacony BBQ burger (can't remember the name). The amount of bacon was VERY generous, and all and all it tasted very good. My only issue was the portion size for the actual hamburger patty was VERY underwhelming. It was so thin, it was similar in size to a whitecastle slider in thickness. Other than the 'Meh' burger (get it?) I would still return to this restaurant and would suggest others to go as well. If they changed how they make their hamburger patties, this place would easily be one of my favorites in the area, but as it stands I will probably avoid the burger section of the menu, which is disappointing considering it is the restaurants namesake. All the same though, I am looking forward to returning next time I am in the area. read more

We ended up here because the other restaurants we passed were closed. My impression is that the entire UP is closed in April. We were extremely hungry and I was craving a burger so I was happy to find this place open. The view was pretty. But my husband and I both thought the burgers had a strange taste. He likened it to being cooked on a scorched griddle. The burgers weren't burned, and they didn't taste burned, they just didn't taste good. We ate about half of our burgers, I picked the bacon off the rest of mine and basically finished an open-faced BLT. Hubby ate half his burger and gave it up for the tater tots. Those also tasted strange (someone else described it as tasting like they were fried in hotdog flavored grease). I tried half of one and didn't finish it. Hubby said they tasted better with ketchup, but I don't like ketchup. Not many people with low reviews mentioned a bad flavor (except for the one about the tots), so maybe it was just a bad day. I just hope whatever caused that taste doesn't make us sick, or I'll be taking away another star. I'll leave them one for the view. read more

I know it seems crazy to go to a burger place and have fish, but that's what we did. Two of us split the half pound fish basket. We did have a small hiccup in service when our order only had half the fish, but they fixed that quick. The portions were good. We had more fries than we could eat and they were crispy like we like. We came here for dinner after our Pictured Rocks cruise. We were really looking for something nearby that served beer... we assumed that a burger place would serve beer. Well, they do not. But we were hungry so we ordered anyways. This is an order at the counter and wait for your number restaurant. We ordered the fish sandwich (came with fries), a fish basket (came with fries), and a burger (did not come with fries). Seems wrong. I wish they would rethink that system. The fish had a weird corn type batter on it with lots of pepper. It tasted good, but I wish it wasn't as heavily seasoned. With fresh fish literally feet from your kitchen you'd think that you'd highlight the fish. The fish sandwich was covered in toppings (mayo, cheese, lettuce, tomato). Again, what are you covering up? The sandwich people were not impressed. The burger was very good, however. It was flavorful and juicy. Altogether it was not a terrible dinner. We will try somewhere else next time, though. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! My family hiked almost 13 miles and we were starving. Since there isn't a lot of places to eat in Munising we had seen this restaurant and thought - a good burger and some fries really sounds good. Boy were we disappointed. First, the young gal working the cash register 7/28 at dinner was not friendly at all. We had some questions and you could see that she was bothered and annoyed. It wasn't just us- she was like that to several other customers too. The bathrooms were closed (no fault of the restaurants - there was a water main break so they were without water in the restaurant). We ordered soft drinks and unfortunately the fountain drinks weren't working but they were charging $2.00 a can (no refills of course) AND the cans weren't even cold and there was no ice. This is ridiculous! Warm pop? No thank you. We got our burgers - overcooked and burnt. My daughter is vegetarian and got the Impossible Burger - she did enjoy that. Well, I guess she should for $15.00 (btw no fries come with that for that price)!!! We got 2 cheeseburgers, 1 large fry, small chicken fingers basket and 4 warm soft drinks and paid over $60. NEVER AGAIN - don't waste your time or your money! For that much money I expect better quality food. So many better options to choose from and for less! read more
