Poo teen that cro slime Canadian stuff
    Evan C.

Not gonna lie buddy it was just ok. I had poo teen or whatever it's called for the first time and it was decent not a huge fan of the gravy but that's how they do it in Canadia, Crodie asked for no tomato on his wrap and they gave him tomato on his wrap. Chill place tho, fw the flags n stuff that the had up but hella expensive, gonna have to start financing family meals lowkeezy.

Dined here because one of the few restaurants that was open. Very mediocre service and food was just ok.

Party of 10, stopped in for lunch, so had a large variety of food! Seated immediately, and they have a huge selection of local craft beers. Outside patio was very nice! Service was was very good! Whitefish chowder was very good, broccoli cheddar soup just ok, burgers were very good, BBQ sliders delish, Poutine very good (a little salty though), kids all enjoyed their kids meals. Overall, we would eat here again!

Outside where the service is much better.

I sat at the bar after taking a long ride on the trail. Nobody will even look you in the eye, nobody greets you. Nobody stated or told me that they would be with me. I sat at the bar for a substantial amount of time, so I just left. I understand hiring Staff from out of town but come on, can we at least have some local hospitality?

I don't understand how this place only has three stars on Yelp - I'm giving it five stars! Located a short distance from downtown Munising, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's cozy, clean, and serves excellent food. We even visited twice during our time in the U.P. The onion rings were the best I've ever had - fried to perfection, not soggy, didn't fall apart. Loved both of the sandwiches that I tried - the fried whitefish sandwich, and a breaded chicken wrap (called the Ringed Neck Duck). Again, perfectly breaded, not too greasy or heavy on the breading. And I loved the coleslaw, too. The service was great, and they have a very good beer list for a little U.P. joint. Outside seating is also available.

The food wasn't great but I've had worse. Not worth the price for the food served. Service was good and so was my margarita.

We love the patio and are always happy with the food. This is one of our "go to" places when in the UP.

Some dishes were on a salty side, but overall amazing meal. The service was great. We had Cassie on the first night and Jamie on the second night. They're both wonderful even though it's super packed. I got a lot of local tips. The place was nice and cute. It's somewhat small inside, but outside seating was better anyway (of course the view!). We had more than positive experiences here both at RoamInn and Tracey's. We will definitely be back.

Shout out to Eve, our server, who was awesome. She stopped by a few times during our meal to check on us and offered some great suggestions on the food, drinks, and potential fun activities during our stay. The food was fantastic. I had fish and chips and my wife had the potato chip whitefish. Both were incredible. We each had a drink. My wife had a glass of wine and I got the coffee old fashioned. Let me tell you, that old fashioned, you've got to get it. It was like eating a bite of Cherry pie with a sip of good coffee. Tracey's is hands down THE dinner spot in Munising. Don't miss out on it.

First, the service. It was a little slow to get rolling but the gal who helped us out was top-notch. She went above & beyond after my 82yr old father hurt his hand somewhere en route to or from the restroom. He was holding a napkin on it & was embarrassed. She discreetly brought him a bandaid, PUT IT ON & TOOK THE SOILED NAPKIN. Even now, it brings a teat to the eye. She was kind & understanding. To say it was touching would be an understatement. Each couple split a chicken pasty meal, the parents had water, while the hubs & I each added a local beer. The pasty crust was light & flaky. The filling wasn't overly seasoned but had good flavor. The slaw was sweet & solid. The star I would have docked for could be cleaner overall (those displays collect stuff) & faster in service gets a wash from the detail and time well-spent on that service. I'd much rather wait a little longer & leave feeling human. So, maybe we could all slow down a bit & pay more attention to detail.

We rarely sit outside but this patio beckoned and we were helpless to resist. There's even outdoor seating available if you arrive before the restaurant is open! Silas brought us menus and took drink orders right away. We enjoyed the season's first shandies while exploring the menu. His attention was perfect and we shared some laughs each time he returned to our table. Neither one of us wanted to share (I guess) so we each ordered our own appetizers. I can never get enough smoked whitefish spread... until it's ALL MINE! I enjoyed every bite and would do it again. Patrick ordered the walleye strips and he did offer me a bite (generous devil that he is). They were perfectly crisp without being heavy or greasy. If I had known that... nah, I'd still get the whitefish. We'll be back to visit The Portside and try more menu items. Who knows, maybe we'll split something next time?
