Awful experience. Specifically ordered a burger with no cheese and lettuce wrap only to get home and find a burger with the bun AND CHEESE. Very upset. I can't have gluten or dairy so had to throw out most of the burger. Will double check next time. read more

July 11th, after being on the road home from a remote hiking trip, we drove thru here to grab some food knowing we wouldn't find anything after leaving Munising for a bit. We ordered 3 meals and felt the order taker was kinda off, but not rude. We waited a bit for our food and when we received it, the gentleman told us we were lucky they still had staff there, they had actually closed close to an hour ago! We were shocked!! To say they went above and beyond is an understatement! Thank you to your staff and all who worked that night! We have mentioned this night several times and are so grateful for the hospitality!! Filthy dining room, filthy pop station, filthy bathrooms....disgusting! Burgers were so slathered in mayo and ketchup that they slipped off the buns and were hard to eat! Staff was nice, but come on, do better! read more

Seems like they're back to regular hours, been there twice recently and it was fast, good food -- what you expect from Hardee's. Chicken tenders especially good and they handled a complicated food allergy order well. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!! We got in drive thru at 545 pm, just finding out they close at 600 pm. The car ahead of us took over ten minutes to order. We pulled up to place our order and they said we're closed-it didn't matter we were in line for 15 minutes. Go elsewhere where you will be treated like you should be treated. read more

Placed an order for four cheeseburgers at 3:57. They had to close at 4 PM because of being short-staffed. Food and service were fine.

They closed their dine-in area at 5pm and told us we had to go through the drive up window when we arrived at 5:15pm. We are in an RV so that's not really possible. When we asked if we could just get it to go they refused. So... We went through the drive through and had to maneuver around the roof overhang which meant that we had to get out of the car at the window... kind of ridiculous. You can't walk up to the window normally though because it's required to have a vehicle. What strange hoops to leap through for food. Several others just left. Quick service and friendly. They are only using drive thru, but answer as soon as you pull up to the speaker. Food came put quickly, was fresh and hot. Half our food had special requests and everything was made correctly. We liked our lunch so much yesterday that we came back for breakfast today. Sweet! First to Review. Ah....perfectly adequate fast food experience. Location: 4 out of 5. Not sure if there is a downtown Munising, but if there was, this wouldn't be too far away. It's maybe on the "outskirts" of downtown, but within easy walking distance to most of the motels in the area. It's also located in very close proximity to a gas station and grocery store, so should you need to eat at Hardees, then get gas, and then get some snacks for the road, you've got it made. Service: 3 out of 5 This is something that I noticed consistently in Munising: the service isn't what I'd call 'bad' or 'inattentive' or 'negligent'. No, the people in the UP have more of a reserved laid back aura about them. Not that somewhat schmaltzy southern air, but more of a matter of factly, "yep, we're here." I was greeted pleasantly enough, and the young lady that brought my food out smiled when she gave me my food. It wasn't overly pompous, and it wasn't mean-spirited. It was, well - just right. Wait time: 2 out of 5 I don't know how this location does their orders. If you are dining in, they give you a little cup lid with your order # on it, and they bring out the food. It seemed (and again, it just seemed) that the people who got their food to go and the people in the drive through got their food much faster, which is an interesting business model. I personally think that waiting about 9 minutes for my burger and onion rings to come out was a little lackluster; I think that had everyone else there (drive through, take out) waited the same amount of time, I would change my tune - but because it seemed like all of the dine in patrons waited a bit longer, I'm going to complain on this one. Not a whole lot of complaining, but just a little bit. Quality of food: 3.5 out of 5 Pretty decent. I've always liked Hardees and the thick burgers. They have this variation now where you can get a thick burger on grilled cheese, with strips of bacon. They'll also let you substitute onion rings for fries if you try out one of those burgers. That's what I did, and I wasn't necessarily disappointed. The thick burgers are consistently good, and I like grilled cheese sandwiches. The combination was decent, though the grilled cheese part could have used some more meltiness/gooeyness. Cleanliness: 4 out of 5 Didn't see anything that I thought was gross - the staff seemed to keep the store in pretty decent condition. Overall: 3 out of 5 Not better or worse than any other fast food place. They accept checks too, which to me is a somewhat odd concept - but I guess some people still enjoy/feel better about paying with that currency. read more

The manager and the staff at this restaurant is absolutely awful. They were rude, barely spoke, and when I very politely asked for a reheat on a "hot sandwich " that I was ice cold I was told to "loose my attitude!" I will NEVER return and will recommend this establishment to no one!! read more

Hello, so today I when to Hardee's and was excited because I have been told they have amazing food but no not this one. First we order going good so far then we get to the window and the worker answers and hands us our food in witch they forget a burger and a drink. So we now have our missing food. Of course we don't check the kids meal thinking Ummmmm how hard can it be like a burger fries and a toy. They forgot to put a burger in the kids meal it all goes in one bag BURGER FRIES AND TOY IN ONE BAG Like come on. So my 5 year old sister had to share with my mother and was not the biggest fan of what she got. Also they were out of chicken strips and that was originally what my sister would have got and nope she had to get a burger that she DID NOT GET!!!! The food was also very cold and not well put together. I will not be returning to a Hardee's ever again. "Thank you" for your horrid service and food. Well, I've eaten at this Hardee's in the past. It use to be worth a drive and a place you wish you had in your own town. This year it was very dirty, there was a lack of proper management, and they were out of everything we tried to order. There was fly dirt on the signs inside and the lobby was very unclean. I was a little worried we might get sick. The food we did get was okay. If they get the place cleaned up and get better management it would be an excellent fast food place. read more

Overpriced for "fast food" (using that term loosely, as our small order for 2 took over 20 min). Served up lukewarm by staff that was rude not only to us but to all of the other customers, as well. I'd complain about the fact that 1/3 of my 3pc chicken tender order was just a tiny, shriveled ball of breading, but the 2 normal-sized tenders were so greasy and rubbery that I couldn't eat one, let alone the 3 that I ordered and (over)paid for. I know standards/expectations shouldn't be set too high for fast food in general, but in this experience, the quality of service matched the quality of the food: abysmal. read more
